  • Fidget toys are usually cheap plastic but these ONO Rollers are precision machined metal parts. Very smooth and manufactured to a high tolerance. It's just a pleasure to roll! Not only for people that like to fidget since I do not really need to do so but I find having my less used hand do something while I think, helps the thinking process along. Give it a try!

Thanks for posting this. I have the purple aluminium junior and have ordered the titanium one. I like the silver as I have scratched the paint of my purple but I know the shiny steel will get scratched in no time if I had one

Stainless is much tougher to scratch than aluminum. Titanium is matte so it'll be even more durable than aluminum. Still titanium will scratch too if you try hard enough.

I threw my ono roller once because I like to throw certain things instead of walking over and putting it down. it caused the roller to bend slightly meaning they were no longer parallel to each other but thankfully it was an easy fix. so I might buy the titanium roller just so for the added durability lol

I would just not throw them =D. It's a hunk of metal so it's like a hammer whatever it hits.

The question: Is it really worth getting the titanium over the aircraft aluminum at over 3 times the price??? Is it really gonna outlast the aluminum one in the long run?
Its a figet so its not gonna be used with hundreds/thousands of pounds of pressure.
Dropping it is the only real abuse it will take.
Titanium sounds better/is better but i could just be a gimick in the longrun if it really isint gonna last any longer than the standard aircraft aluminum.

The texture and weight is different. I typically buy Titanium just because I like the material. They have to make it in a vacuum at high heat, hence the high price. You wont ever test the strength of the material here and the bearings is what will go first. They all have the same bearings.

@@BeatTheBushDIYIv always wondered how long the bearings in the ono roller will last. Thank you for your reply!!

Your hands will wear out before the bearings does. I think the main vector of breaking is dropping it on a hard surface and breaking the alignment. This results it no longer rolling well.

@@BeatTheBushDIYYour awsome! iv dropped my ono aluminum before and you are right: It wobbles and doesnt spin as well, But iv gotten it to work better by unscrewing the bolts and making it more straight.
The aluminum does dent pretty easy as the steel and titanium probably wont dent like the aluminum ono roller does: Aluminum is strong but very soft and probably the only real downfall of the aluminum over the tiranium or steel.
