Percival Lowell saw canals with water flowing on Mars through his telescope. Science is full of conjecture sold as reality. We perceive things based on our senses here on Earth & expect that weather & geology is the same throughout the universe as it is here. Have they found any water on Mars? No.
Truly amazing. And mind boggling, actually.. . . . That astro-geologists can make these tremendous analyses of what water did "millions of years ago" on a planet millions of miles away, thanks to cameras and other exploratory gear on a remote controlled probe --- and yet, geologists right here on earth, who can see and feel rocks and layers with their own eyes and unlimited instruments, cannot seem to see or admit the our planet was once covered by a global flood. Breath taking.
Ask yourself why you believe there was a global flood but those same geologists you admire say that’s a myth. Why might that be? Let’s compare the two sides. You, with your basic education, watched some youtube videos who said it happened and they used persuasive deception on you. Now the geologist’s turn. Highly experienced men and women with intensive studies at university level and field experience over decades slowly build a picture of Earth’s history in which, at no point while human’s ancestors were alive, was there a global flood. So how do these two compare, who is more likely to be right? Breathtaking!

Mars is much farther away from the sun than earth is, so you would expect it to be much darker. Yet the Martian landscape seems very well lit, like earth.
Unfortunately that will never happen. Mars does not have a strong enough magnetic field to ward off the solar winds which only recently stripped away most of its atmosphere and water. Without the core generating a strong magnetic field the atmosphere cannot be retained. This is why Earth still has an atmosphere.
