As the QUEEN of damaged skin barrier, eczema, cuts, scratches, hives, etc., I can attest that this ingredient is a SAVIOR! It's actually what made me try K Beauty! My skin barrier has been strong and healthy and I haven't had an eczema flare or allergic reaction in ages. I can evwn get away wuth fragrsnce and alcohol inna few items.

Hi Sarah I love centella for my rosacea and eczema prone skin - it's super soothing. Having tried artemesia/mugwort and other more "fashionable" K beauty soothing ingredients I still love centella best. I do like licorice, green tea, lotus and many others (mugwort stung my eyes fyi), but centella provides immediate soothing and the Benton goodbye redness sheet mask is a great rescue remedy. I'm seeing it more and more in Western beauty, but for high concentrations K beauty is where it's at. Best wishes.

I love anything that has centella in it! I even use pimple patches that have centella in it and I find it’s so good for my skin. Because my skin can get quite irritated since I am so sensitive I love being able to use it in many products that are in my skincare routine. 🥰 I LOVE all of the Purito products you mentioned and I use them in my skincare routine but they also have centella pimple patches that are so good I always have some on hand.

Hi Sarah! Thank you for today's ingredient spotlight 💖 I love Centella. My favourite product is Benton Centella gel - I love the texture. I have repurchased it multiple times 🙌 Could you do an ingredient spotlight featuring EGF? /// Btw the earrings are super pretty! I can't stop looking at them ✨😅

😊😄 I'm trying to do a little less videos in my pajamas, lol! I'm loving the Benton Centella Gel, i take this brand a bit for granted but i need to start reviewing more from them and give them the attention they deserve. My next ingredients spotlight will be rose and the various types, then after that I'll do EGF, that's such an interesting and ever changing topic in Skincare. Maybe after that one i should do a livestream about it. It's so fascinating to me. 😃

Hi there! Loved the video and I just purchased some centella for myself. I actually had a skincare question I was wondering if you could help me with. I was wondering what I should do if I am constantly sweating throughout the day and need to wash the sweat off my face but don’t want to overwash it and strip my skin. I find myself constantly sweating and needing to wash it to unclog my pores but am not sure if this is drying my skin out.. :(

Okay, so 1st I’d like to say that I started Tretinoin a few weeks ago. I got it strictly for anti-aging, as I have never had acne problems or any other skin issues, by the grace of God.
I started Tretinoin at .025%, and the first 3-4 days I took it, I figured I was going to be one of the very, very few that don’t get irritated by it. I couldn’t have been more wrong. About the 4th day, it didn’t matter what other serums or moisturizers I put on my face, it would burn. So I took a day off, and it would help, then go another 2 days, repeat, and then eventually after a 3 days in a row, I had to take 2 days off.
I heard of Centella, and was going through some Amazon reviews, seeing how some people said they could finally use their Tretinoin every day because of Centella.
Today is the first time, except for when I first started, that I will be able to apply Tretinoin 4 days in a row. I am using the Purito Unscented Centella Recovery cream as my first coating of moisturizer, but I heard there are a few other Centella products out there that do amazing.
Yesterday I decided to order a Centella Serum to add in as well, as i believe it can only help at this point, primarily because the serum is more powerful and effective, I’m assuming, due to the very high PPM of the Centella in it. I got the Purito Unscented Centella Serum, mainly because my experience with their cream has been amazing. They’re both incredibly affordable. I’d like to try the other brands sometime as well, like from CosRX, and La Roche Cicaplast Baumé that I’ve heard so much about.
Anyway, in a nutshell, if you’re having bad irritation with your Tretinoin, I highly recommend getting some Centella from one of the brands I mentioned. I bet you see amazing results.

Very happy that you found something that was so helpful! I'm surprised from the delayed reaction you had- usually retinoids will tell you pretty quick that they are going to irritate your skin. Sounds like your skin had some tolerance to it but just couldn't handle it after a few days. Hope you give it a try again at some point. Perhaps mix it with your moisturizer for the first few weeks and maybe your skin will acclimate to it.

Can i use the purito centella unscented serum right after I’ve used an exfoliator like mandelic acid? Also can i mix the serum with a moisturiser? I’m new to all this... thus these questions 😅
