Heat Pump Case Study UK - Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP Air Source Heat Pump 2024

A recent case study of an Air Source Heat Pump retrofit project in Rural Powys installed in April 2024. On this particular project our Client wanted to replace their Oil fired boiler as it was in need of replacement. ♻️
Following pre-installation site visits and a Room by Room Heat Loss Calculation it was determined that the Panasonic Aquarea 9 kW T-CAP (Total Capacity) would be ideally suited for their project. The T-CAP is considered one of the best units on the UK heat pump market and so we felt happy to suggest this model for our Clients. We also felt that the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App and the Panasonic Service Cloud would offer further benefits for our Clients also. The Panasonic Network Adapter enables control via the App and being WIFI connected enables the system to be monitored remotely for performance and future maintenance purposes. 🛜
The new Air Source Heat Pump was to be installed to the rear of the property and the new cylinder would replace the existing cylinder in the Airing Cupboard upstairs. As the new Air Source Heat Pump was replacing fossil fuel, our Client also received the £7,500.00 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant shortly after the installation. 💷 ✅
🔥 🏡 The new system provides heating for one zone of radiators and for the domestic hot water cylinder. The Panasonic Remote Controller is being used as a Room Thermostat and our Client also make good use of the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App. With consent the system is also now registered on the Panasonic Service Cloud which is fantastic for peace of mind for our Client. 🛜
