Similar thing happened to me one time. Luckily I had all the proper tools with me to convert to single speed, lock the rear shock and ride it out.... softly and slowly.
Loved the video, just walking that trail takes some commitment. Much respect to anyone who rides it and anyone who doesn't. I've learned a thing or two in my 63 years, with a lot of close calls, if you're not really feeling it don't do it. You have great abilities and courage, your time will come I'm sure. Take care.
In the late 90s I rode with people that created a lot of the single track in Sedona. A lot of it has become super wide erosion areas from the over use. In places the trial is now in a deep gully several feet below the original soil grade. Back then the Forest Service would block our trails, but now they promote the same trails and even use the names we used back then.
Walking away happy, indeed. I have some zest for life, but I'm confident the White Line will have to wait for another go-round. Thanks for taking us along.
Subscribed for the POV of the White Line run... Soooooo GOOodddd. Respect for getting out of there and saving the run for when it felt like the right time right place.
Love your videos particularly with Maddie and Jarrod. Mad respect for all 3 of you Jarrod with extra large huevos that looked terrifying. And to you and Maddie for knowing it isn't the right time and not pushing it when you don't feel safe.
All of the Hogs trails were originally named that because when we first trying to make a trail there Javalina kept getting spooked and running out in front of us. When those trails were being created the Forest Service would cut branches and block the trails, and we would remove the branches. Now the Forest Service has the same trails as "official" trails. Llama Trail was originally a trail made by a guy that gave un-permitted Llama Tours starting from the Village Of Oak Creek up to Chicken Point and out into a side canyon as an overnight pack trip. We discovered the trail and ran into the guy with his Llamas and he was upset we found "his trail". We all called it llama trail from then on. Forest Service just kept the name and made it an "official" trail.
We were riding in and saw you all coming in back to the lot. The shuttle dropped us off there. That place is magical, loved it! The food was good too at the festival. Thinking of 2025 already! Glad you all were there.
That looks like one fun trip! Jarrod with that white line...yall captured it so well too. Even with gopro effect that looks seriously sketch. Nice job.
Wow 🤩 Sedona has Amazing Trails to Ride with lots of Turns, Uphills, Downhills for Epic Adventure, Congrats to Jarrod Adcock for riding the White Line and Being Safe Nice that Maddison Pitts Has Jarrod Adcock in Her Beautiful Life to Make Her Happy and Safe, Spend There Beautiful Life’s Together full of Love, Joy and Happiness😃😘😘😘😘🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great video. Cool to watch you all having fun. Huge props to Jarrod for riding the white line. It is nerve wracking to watch. Major creds to Heather for launching that jump at the start of the video! Impressive riding all around.
Great video! I LOVE Sedona! Thanks for the tour! I hit many of those trails last time there including WhiteLine. Definitely a sense of accomplishment afterwards.
Sheeeeww!!!! Great video and fun adventure as always ways. Love that Jarrod checked off White Line. That’s so creepy up there !!! The Hogs looked crazy. Haven’t done those yet and Canyon of fools looked so fun!!! Rip Mads wheel 😅.
Good stuff. Your walking video is one of the few I have seen that come close to giving your the feel of the White Line. I rode out on the white line and pedal struck one of the little Vs and saved it but chickened out on making the turn. I had to slide my bike down to a friend on the lower line and then ride out. Fun video.
wow I cannot even imagine, I would have been scared. I think Jarrod struck his pedal too it was probably at the same spot. Glad you did it but also glad you knew when to stop.
I love Sedona I was just there last week I did Templeton and height Cathedral Rock I go out to Sedona every 6 months I'm glad you guys got the experience and enjoyed it I'm sure you will return it is one of the most beautiful places in the world thank you for the exciting footage
I was refreshing UA-cam waiting for your weekly video to drop and the 5th refresh got it to pop up! Can’t wait to check out Sedona. I plan on going in may
I thought I was watching the laugh factory at the hogs trail lol. Looks like some awesome riding there. I don't blame you girls, I have no desire to ride the white line. I don't have a death wish. I want to live to see another day of riding.
Hey Heather, we were hanging on the jump line later that day. Welcome to AZ with that disaster. The sharp rocks stand up after the front rolls over them, and they kill tires, frames and mech.
I was out there in December. I also chose just to walk the white line and live to ride another day. That turn is legit. It’s way more scary in person. Consequences of choking are pretty big.
Ah, a busted derailleur -- I've had 3 over the last 2 years, which sucks as a ride killer. I finally got myself a Derailleur Guard by GEO, but I call the Dork Defender. Might not look so cool, but it seems to work.
I used to think so. Unless you are extremely lucky and one of your gears is exactly the right size you will have slack in your chain, no way to adjust it and no good result. Voice of experience. I carry a spare derailleur now.
@@hankrasco9536 I did this with a 1 by 12 drivetrain. I just used a chain tool and removed the appropriate amount of links corresponding to the gear that I wanted it to be in. It took a little work too get it set up… and yes, there was a tiny bit of slack in the chain, but it was functional enough for me to ride my bike out.
Did I just hear you curse? Ohhh! I've enjoyed your videos because you do that so rarely. On this video I turned it off before you started the white line. It gave me the heebie-jeebies just seeing that.
same thing happen to me and i was on an old skool Giant and totally took out my spokes and rear derailer. coasted where i could and walked the rest. haha im with you on putting on makeup before a ride....yo we in the middle of nowhere and no one is gonna see your shit...lol
The vibes are so good here! Cheers to y’all for walking The White Line, that thing screams nope. And Jarrod …RAD
Hahaa righhhht. Just walking it had us nervous.
I miss Jarrod. Maybe one day, if he makes it back to IL, we'll be able to ride.
Similar thing happened to me one time. Luckily I had all the proper tools with me to convert to single speed, lock the rear shock and ride it out.... softly and slowly.
So much fun!
6:24 such a goofball, hilarious. Had me laughing behind my computer. 😆

Thank you for that. You are absolutely right. If your not feeling it it’s always best to walk away. ❤
Fantastic Video Heather, as always. Awesome views. You're fresh air for all bikers waiting at office for the weekend's trails. Regards from Spain!!!
☺ thank you

Love your fun and humorous attitude. Enjoy watching your accomplishments. Hope to see you again at Mt. Creek in Spring.
I cannot wait to head back !!!
Nice job, Jarrod.
That someone that you recorded doing the white line is none other than 10 times jet ski world champion Jeff Jacobs "Jackson"!!
I was refreshing UA-cam waiting for your weekly video to drop and the 5th refresh got it to pop up! Can’t wait to check out Sedona. I plan on going in may

Smart Girls. Risk Reward. White Line ain’t worth it!
If I ever go to the states will be to ride this. Awesome and scary at the same time
It is a beautiful place!

I loved those jumps!! so fun
Love the vibes 😂
❤😊
Wow …. That’s steeper than I thought. From a distance it’s seems doable to
Ride. I ‘ll stick around my local trails in mission Viejo. 😅
Which trails to you ride out at Mission Viejo?
I was out there in December. I also chose just to walk the white line and live to ride another day. That turn is legit. It’s way more scary in person. Consequences of choking are pretty big.
Exactly, the videos don't do justice. It was a nice walk haha 😅
Thanks for not pushing beyond your limit just for views. Good job!
I went through canyon of fools for my first ride in sadona and it was crazy
Its an experience!
Where are about 12 features after the corkscrew turn?
Great👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷👋🏾
👊😎
Rode Mescal and Canyon of fools while at the festival! That ride is amazing! I'll leave the White Line for the pros!😂
Those trails were fun !!!
What brand of glasses are you using here?
They are POC
Three things in this video:
Beautiful girls (especially Heather)

Hey if It works that's great. We might need to get Maddy one 😊
❤
Great video Heather. Do your 2 friends have UA-cam or Instagram pages. They both look like they would be fun to follow.
check them out on instagram @madisonpitts @jarrod_adcock
Leave Madison alone, you're filming!
No reason to risk it if you’re not 💯 % in. 👍
I find the HOGGS every time I go to the bar.
If you break a derailleur you can shorten your chain and turn your bike (temporarily) into a single speed.
I used to think so. Unless you are extremely lucky and one of your gears is exactly the right size you will have slack in your chain, no way to adjust it and no good result. Voice of experience. I carry a spare derailleur now.

That would have been the move but there was no saving this situation. Everything blew up ahaha
RIP derailleur. Always better to ride another day.
hahah Yeah Maddy absolutely blew up that whole wheel
Did I just hear you curse? Ohhh! I've enjoyed your videos because you do that so rarely. On this video I turned it off before you started the white line. It gave me the heebie-jeebies just seeing that.

hahah gotta love Maddy and her explosions and make up touch ups ❤
Walking away from white line when you ain't feeling it is the best way. I've seen far more experienced riders walk away from it.
Yeah we were happy with our decision 😊
😆 With Heather’s mischievous laughter, I think Heather ate 🍃gummies for breakfast🤣
haha We had pancakes for breaky 😊
WhiteLine is too extreme for me, I would never do it... too scary for me.
btw yo u3 are extremely good rider! Nice to watch you
Looks like sram axs lol 😉
live it only about 10 time scarier looking.
How come you don't like full facial? When it comes to helmets that is.
Jeeps...not cool.
Jeeps have been doing tours there before there were mountain bike trails.
