I'd LOVE to hear more about Gehenna and the Yugoloths. Theres so little coverage of them on lore channels, demons and devils always hog all the spotlight!
Especially the Demons of the Abyss, because if the Demon Lords actually fought together instead against each other, they could bring about the end of all reality.
Yugoloths are some of my favorite outer planar creatures. I remember reading about them in the original Monster Manual 2 along with Demodands. I've always thought they were much more interesting than the devils and demons. Not sure why. Same with the Slaadi from the original Field Folio. Yup, been playing for a while.
I love to see some more attention drawn to Gehenna and the Yugoloths! I've tried to do my own research on the plane, but there's just so little info to pull from; other than Yugoloths and Barghests, Wizards has seemed really reluctant to flesh out the plane as anything but Diet Hell. Y'all did a great job pulling from such sparce sources! :D
Their leaders are inspired by the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Which I see unlimited potential for them. My favorite is Antraxus awesome design and coolest name. The Bernaloths are also fascinating.
I always get a weird sense of déjà vu when watching these videos, don't know if it's just because you guys cover bits and pieces all the time, or if I've just read to much lore.
Hades and gehena are different planes altogether gehena leans towards lawful in the same way carcari leans towards chaos while hades is standard evil just pointing that out dungeoncast
Four tomes of keeping That would be a fun fetch quest to find the books of keeping and you have like three options you could either give it to the demons or the devils to control the Yugoloths race or just give it to the Yugoloths/Damon’s the books of keeping to them, instead of giving it to demons or devils awesome fetched quest!
Are you guys gonna talk about pandemonium and Acheron carceri the gray waste of Hades? and all of besides demons and devils. fiendish creatures that live in the lower planes such as night hags and other fiendish creatures hellhounds, and hellcats?
I need a contract this Soo funny okay for devil is a contract for demon they'll eat you up a yugolths be like swell I'll take the gold I'll help you out.

I think that's the yugoloth entire plot, to make everyone focused on the poster child while they steal the actual prize
Arcanaloths are my favorite of the bunch. They're so cool.
i love how D&D is full of OP Factions that could take over everything at any time without notice, but any do because they cant get their shit together
Just like certain ppl groups.
Especially the Demons of the Abyss, because if the Demon Lords actually fought together instead against each other, they could bring about the end of all reality.
I’m imagining a backstory for a noble warlock that just him selling his family’s entire fortune to a high powered yugoloth for rad warlock powers

RIP Dungeoncast. Miss you guys
Shoutout to Demogorgon.

Knew a guy that had one in high school, but then he wrecked it. Then he was Yugoless.
HECK YES!!!! I've been waiting for this one!!!!

I miss Planescape and how in-depth and interconnected everything was.
I don't know what that is but I miss it too.
Daemon is an modern english adaptation of the ancient Greek word for soul. As yogoloths are denizen of Hades, this connection is stitched, baked in.
I'm getting a very Yojimbo/A Fistful Of Dollars feels from high level Yugoloths. Playing both sides to destroy them.
Really like the videos. Start showing pictures or more of them please.

Peter LittleFinger Baelish was actually an Arcanaloth in disguise.
Shout out to demogorgon? Shout out to your patron the demogorgon

Hades: the place so evil it actively corrodes your soul.

I like the name Daemon better. I feel like Daemon sounds more like a friend than Yugoloth.
I wish you guys can make a gehenna episode
We will one day.
I don't know I mean I'd like gehenna because in my Homebrew world a deity of lust lives in gehenna
Variant teifling you can make yourself a yugoloth teifling
I imagine the demons and apostles from berserk
Not Goliath, Nycaloths look like Hudson or Broadway, from the gargoyles animated show. The resemblance is certainly there
Are you guys still going to talk about demodand (Gehrgehleth)and I were they come from and the Outer plane they come from carceri?
26 minute mark. I think you were looking for Broadway in look and Lexington in brain
Arcanaloths 👍
Hey guys! Where's the kuo-toa episode? Love your content!
Its on the to-do list. Thanks!
@@Thedungeoncast Oh great, thanks! Keep up the good work!
I like Matt Yugaloth movies.
Demons will make deals, they are just not reliable with them
Any know where I can see that Stephen king thing he was talking about?
You can search up "Can-toi" on the Dark Tower wiki or just on google.
Or the "low men in yellow coats" I think is the descriptions from Hearts in Atlantis.

Shout out to demogorgon
I like the Pathfinder lore a bit better, with them being rule by the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death
Yucky Yuniverses and Yunicorns.
In the thumbnail, they look way more like aliens than "demons".
We need the A Team. lmao
The finite number is gehreleths

I feel like these guys are sadly underappreciated what with all the nonsense they can get into.
I remember when the Moral Majority (aka. "Christian" Karens) started attacking D&D as devil worship. The AD&D DM's guide didn't help.
