Met a viewer and he caught a Striper on his FIRST cast!! Plus I caught a li'l somethin' myself
I've never seen this many people out at my spot and it was awesome! Like I say, fish with aloha and all things will be good. It was great to meet someone who watches my videos and even more amazing to see him catch a keeper striper on his first cast....on the same Calissa 110 that I use!

I went out at the peak low tide and it was way too low at -1 ft or so and I decided to go to Lowe's and come back. It was still low when I came back about 45 mins later but was fishable!
I caught more Dungeness crabs than fish!

New Okuma Rockaway rod and a new Z-Man bait that catches more surf fish than the sand worm imo!

I fished for about 3-4 hours and caught 8 fish total using my new Okuma Rockaway SP rod and the Z-Man curly tail grub in motor oil color. And I used only ONE bait for all of the catches! These Z-Man grubs are strong, durable and they don't just break apart like the sand worms. And they're on sale for like 4 bucks for a pack of 8! Link below. To me, the Berkley Gulp sand worms work but they just...
