I’m a fuel hauler. Tried to go over last night from Rifle. Spent 8 hours in Silverthorn. Then dispatch said turn back & go home. This crap & the anti trucker legislation pending, I’m about done with fuel hauling. Go get your own fuel people
States like wyoming, south dakota, north dakota, montana, idaho, utah, minnesota, iowa & wisconsin sometimes get that "fresh powder" all of the way up to the month of may at times. Scary stuff!! Stay safe, warm & dry coloradans!!
As predicted this happens every year in the spring in Colorado. if you know the storm is dumping why are you driving into the storm. Welcome to beyond stupidity.
@@dwjoseph59 my job is considered nessisary & they do not expect me to risk my life when it snows , & Pacific North West snow is heavy & wet , unlike most of the snow in Colorado I know I lived at 9000 feet in elevation in florissant Colorado for more than 17 years. So what job expects people to risk their live to get into work, that doesn't make any sense at all.
My line of work is considered essential unfortunately I received an occurrence from my employer due to missing work. I really wanted to go in but sometimes life happens….

Anyone who drives into a very predictable mountain blizzard deserves no sympathy, only scorn and shame.
But, but, they are used to it which makes them think that they can handle it. Look at those wild semi's in all of that!!

They believe being used to it helps matters. And some of these jobs still expect people to make it to work in this dangerous stuff too.

If you are "ESSENTIAL" make your employer pay the difference between a regular vehicle and a 4x4 and then make them buy Chains!
