Great job Phil as always. I've had this bag for about 6 months now and it is still in great shape. I use a Pioneer DDJ-SX and a 17" Macbook. Both fit nicely. In the front top pocket I put a G-Raid external drive. The ONLY thing I don't like about the bag is the headphone compartment. I had Technics RP-DH1200 headphones and they broke while trying to get them in the headphone compartment. It was always a really tight fit, so I should have just stopped jamming them in that compartment. Otherwise, I love this bag. Very, very well built. I would recommended it to anyone (just don't put your headphones in it).
I had the udg bag it was great loads of compartments my only gripe was they could have made room for my laptop stand (crane). Dont tuck it under your controller it can damage your laptop which sits directly underneath with minimal padding between them. (pioneer sx,macbook pro 15",hd25,crane stand, power cords, and audio cables)
Yeah I agree that's kinda risky - some stands are really flat and with a smaller laptop you might just get away with it, but I agree (I talk about this risk in the review a bit more too).
Hi Phil, Great reviews I've brought myself a UDG Digi bag pack but unfortunately my current controller (Numarks mix track pro 2) doesn't fit into it. Could you recommend a smaller controller that would not only fit but good quality, value for money is compatible with Virtual DJ Many thanks

What would you guys choose for the Kontrol S8 ? MAGMA RIOT XXL or UDG Ultimate Midi Controller Backpack L Looking for good price, protection but not over padded...
Hmm, that might be a little big. It fits the DDJ-RX which is one of the larger ones, but is still smaller than the 808. Definitely contact UDG before purchasing to make sure :)

Would this be an ideal bag as a carry on for flights?

Thanks for spotting this, we'll look into it.
This is just MARGINALLY smaller that the Numark NS7-2, is there anyway it would squeeze in there..??
I just want to know if it will be big enough to fit the new pioneer ddj sz ...
do you know if they have something like that for a Denon MCx8000?
Not sure offhand, it'd be huge though!

alexpoulin have the same question, also thinking about the dug urbanite backpack as well..
Think i might just go with this instead of a coffin for my sx. Seems a lot more mobile.
Do you prefer the MacBook Air over a macbook pro?
Good question, not for DJing though :)
UA-cam what are you doing with the sound? !!!!
could a djm 850 fit in here
can i fit roland dj808

Can we kept ddj 400 in it??
There is a drop down on the UDG website where it shows you what controllers fit in what bags, I'd check there to be sure.
