As crazy as it sounds, I was searching the internet for a "personal" word from the Lord. I typed in, What does God want me to do. I thank God that you posted this video because through you, the Holy Spirit spoke directly to me. Practically every word, and even your transparency as you shared the difficulties you experienced with the loss of your father (my condolences) and your son validated me! I also received confirmation, instruction, and encouragement. I could not stop crying out to the Lord, thank you! Now I want to thank you for being a willing vessel for God to use. Thank God for this pastor preaching the Word of God. I have never heard of Pastor Howard before today. The thing is I know The Holy Spirit directed me to this video. I know now how to find out what God's will is for my life. "God will close a door that man cannot open and open a door that man cannot close." I once thought God wanted me to inquire and reach out to needy or poor people, but getting too close to people with issues has pulled my life into a miserable direction, so I no longer want to be around people who are suffering from choices that led to addiction or sin attractions. I'm done with thinking I can help make other people's situation better when I should be working on my own situation. It's time for me to work on "my" situation now. But why does God keep the door open to least attractive options? If the right path is least attractive, then how is it the "right" path? I'm just saying - is that just the concept of "the narrow way"? Lord help me to separate from those people who do not help me do your will and fulfill your purpose for my life. - Amen

God did tell us what church to attend. The church is the people and the people from the first century were called plain ole Christians. I read no where in the NT where anyone was called Baptist Christian. So can someone explain why one would call themselves something that (1) the apostles weren't called (2) you can't read about this denomination in the bible (3) nowhere in the bible does it show or tell that there were women pastors. If God didn't care about gender then HE wouldn't have put in HIS WORD the qualifications of a pastor/overseer.(husband of one wife, women be silent in the church, older women teach the younger women...) There's too many scriptures supporting the TRUTH. If the women couldn't preach at Corinth then they couldn't preach at any of the other 6 locations because otherwise that wouldn't be on one accord. I once thought God wanted me to inquire and reach out to needy or poor people, but getting too close to people with issues has pulled my life into a miserable direction, so I no longer want to be around people who are suffering from choices that led to addiction or sin attractions. I'm done with thinking I can help make other people's situation better when I should be working on my own situation. It's time for me to work on "my" situation now. But why does God keep the door open to least attractive options? If the right path is least attractive, then how is it the "right" path? I'm just saying - is that just the concept of "the narrow way"? Lord help me to separate from those people who do not help me do your will and fulfill your purpose for my life. - Amen

God did tell us what church to attend. The church is the people and the people from the first century were called plain ole Christians. I read no where in the NT where anyone was called Baptist Christian. So can someone explain why one would call themselves something that (1) the apostles weren't called (2) you can't read about this denomination in the bible (3) nowhere in the bible does it show or tell that there were women pastors. If God didn't care about gender then HE wouldn't have put in HIS WORD the qualifications of a pastor/overseer.(husband of one wife, women be silent in the church, older women teach the younger women...) There's too many scriptures supporting the TRUTH. If the women couldn't preach at Corinth then they couldn't preach at any of the other 6 locations because otherwise that wouldn't be on one accord.
