Chris Stuckmann reviews his no-budget feature he began making at age 15, that took just over 2 years to make. - Розваги
It's a shame cause this movie would have been great if it wasn't for all the studio interference...
Simple Mug ah come on Stuckman should've given a like on that one that was clever AF man
Yeah the rumors are saying Micheal Bay had his hands all up inside Chris's buttho- oops I meant movie.
Cody Hawkins more like m night
Shots fired!!!👉🏿🔫
Simple Mug 😂😂😂
Why would a sheriff apologize to a blind person for not being in uniform? That's like apologizing to a deaf person for your accent.
Floyd Palmer This is the best comment
Floyd Palmer Well, maybe he didn't know he was blind at first sight?
Floyd Palmer actually if a deaf person lip reads then the accent is very important
jus sayin
I literally came here to make that same comment
Still better than the emoji movie
RosettaStoned525
Fuck right!!!
Anything is better then that movie.
The Emoji Movie makes this look like a Masterpiece
Booooooooo
@Random Channel 🤣💉😆☝️💥💥💣⚪🔫💵💥😭💉✍️🙌👏. Happy.
The Village ripped this movie off!
Bujang Lapuk dude yeah
Ya sounds and everything
At 2 million subscribers you should have to make a sequel.
or now
"should have to" I think you have one too many modal verbs in that sentence.
U remember the Halloween special at a cabin his wife and him shot over a week?
Nahuel correcting grammar on the internet. mother must be proud.
There's only one modal verb: should.
Can't wait for the Stuckmann Cinematic Universe
Be cool if he teamed up with Jeremy and Angry Joe to fight the ultimate evil.
Jose Alaniz Studio executives
James Lewis Be like the trinity, Chris be'd supes, Joe batman, n Jeremy wonder woman.
Still be better than the dceu
You can't wait? Tell that to Zod's snapped neck.
Hearing Chris talk about and show his parents helping him in this film hits differently now.
Faaaacts. That's what I was thinking :/
Yeah, a bit awkward
another *hits differently for the millionth time* generic comment....
@@sebastiankrajewski2029 cry about it
What happened?
You could sell this movie like a rare experimental swedish film...
Hey!! Respect Bergman
"Sorry I'm not in my uniform I was at home when you called" Best line 10/10
Tarantino level
Ethan Christensen "and says it to a blind person"
Ethan Christensen i
Could have been “I was at Dairy Queen with my family when you called” lmao
Chris' dad seems adorable!
Now that I know they're estranged, my heart breaks!
A man apologizing for his appearance to a blind man..... Brilliant
What I think he should've done is not mention it so that people may question whether or not the sheriff is actually the sheriff and not just a robber. He could throw little hints both ways, he could make him do stuff since the blind man wouldn't know but say stuff that a sheriff would say.
Velocity21 mn
Taylor Lemoine b b the same
I mean he had to make an excuse for the absence of his uniform
@@lucashiatt3531 "Sorry I'm out of uniform, it's my day off and I was at the annual chicken wings eating contest at the county fair, sponsored my Mike's Hardware."
Done. Give me a writing credit.
I mean, for a 16 year old, this is more than pretty good.
Agreed
Totally
not gonna lie, there was quite a bit of tension in some of those scenes.
Agreed
Yes. Chris staring seriously pick some nerve
He actually got me with the alien reveal
so chris really grew up with this ...
lool
introverted guy liTEraLlY!!
I wish this would stop.
introverted guy shuuuuuuuuuttttt up
wright96d ye but he did actually grow up in this and whilst making this movie lol
Would've been funnier if Chris's character responded to being asked why it's a broomstick with "It's a broomstick?!"
UpgradeFour oh my god yes ! 😂
UpgradeFour WHY ISN'T THIS TOP COMMENT?!?! XD
Lololololololololololol
😂😂😂 That’s brilliant
That's what I thought would happen
The friends not wanting to have their faces shown makes so much sense now
Yeah, if that's the reason.
Might not be, but it is likely.
And, to me, disappointing and sad, that they're willing to be in a film with their friend and don't want to be seen in it.
If it's for that reason, anyway.
Talk about character development
All the more reason Jehovah Witnesses are scum. I've seen the video.
Why?
@@wonder_city_bot8226 they were Jahuva Witnesses.
How dare you make this a hilariocity review. This movie was pure art
the joke about the broomstick should've been that he didn't know it was a broomstick and then it's ignored
They could just have filmed his stick from an angel where we don't see the bottom.
Lee W u mean angle
Well he wasn't kidding when he said he was inspired by M Night Shyamalan's movies
KillingTheJoke I was thinking that
KillingTheJoke I was thinking the exact same thing! The entire time, I couldn't shake the feeling of Signs during this movie.
I know, the first time the creature appears, walking past that window, I was like, "Signs!"
Along with Signs it did remind me of The Village with the cloaked creature

Hell yeah I'd buy it!!!!
Wondering if one of the friends that Chris mentioned didn’t want to be shown was the JW friend he mentioned in the Double Toasted interview that shunned him.
Probably.
Likely.
I'd really be proud of this if I was 16...Well done!
Neoner Films if I tried making a film with my friends, we’d record one session and never do it ever again
So this is Daredevil origins.
Chris could be Matt Murdock xD He looks a little bit like him
I'm sure im not the only one to say this, but even though this is obviously bad and hilarious, you've got some directing skills man. They really shine through in certain moments throughout this film - we need to get some bigger production behind you!
short Stormtrooper I know he does right
Where?
It is a good movie in my opinion
Seriously, for a sixteen year-old, this isn't bad at all. I do, however, have to point out the shot of a blind character slowly peering over the countertop as being a tad bit incongruous.
Right but as an aspiring filmmaker he knows that he’s grown a lot since then so it’s nostalgic for him to look back at where he started even if it’s not necessarily the best. Also let’s be honest, we’re all very critical of ourselves.
Chris should release the whole movie on the channel
Yep, I would watch the shit out of that!
harry Kirkham Dwan I would pay to see that honestly, along with the Indiana Jones home movie
With his friends edited out? Nah.
The guy apologises for not having his uniform, but the main character is blind so wouldn't know anyway.
Shhhhhh
D Fens Maybe the sheriff didn't know him to be blind?
D Fens shook
ItsLeoJ But Chris states that the Sheriff decided to look after him because he was alone and living in this woods, surely he would have known that he is blind if he knew him.
D Fens I think that's a perfect example of the movie making process and concerns you have to pay attention to.
Within the movie, the sheriff knows why he doesn't have his uniform, Mark doesn't need to know why, but the audience does. Thus, the writer (Chris) must take that into account.
While goofy and low-quality, you can tell there is some talent here. The way the shots cut together, the camera angles, even your acting, there’s a level of genuine quality to it all.
I agree.. Editing is good. I (myself) learned to edit M. Night-style, which meant pratice-practice-practice. Which is good, but I was over 25 yrs old at the time.. Sound editing is the next step and AND this was really good for his age..Later you learn that sound is the way to keep the audience invested...
"He returned home, he's so relieved"
(shows Mark with emotionless face)
1.5 Million Subs = Release the movie
Matt D but o don't want to wait to take 5 years XD
Thanos wrong
i think 16 year old chris forgot halfway through the movie that he was supposed to be blind
I’m pretty sure he forgot that throughout most of the film lol.
as soon as I saw the shot of the reflection of the river and then the river I thought of the village
No he didnt
This is amazing. All the 16 year olds at my school were too busy getting high to do anything of value. You guys should be proud. This was great!
Just wondering what were you doing of value at 16?

The opening to the film reminded me of one of those documentaries on the history channel about aliens.

Anyone else love how he comes closer to the tv during the news report as if he is watching it, even tho he’s blind?
Maybe to hear it better?
It's not as good as him peering over the counter haha
chris stuckmann is my favorite human being on youtube.
You haven't met Ryan George then.
I'd like to see Chris remake this movie now, with all the extra experience he has
Isaac Laing Experience doing what? Critiquing other movies?
adamh3624 What a dumbass, he has obviously learned a lot and has more knowledge about film and film making. He has interacted with many indie filmmakers who shared their experience. He knows all.the technicalities such as lighting, cenematography, atmoshoere, mood, editing and a shit ton.
That may be the worse possible spelling of cinematography and atmosphere I have ever seen. It's almost impressive.
WellFedArtist So he should make a real movie then, right?
Varun S Suckmann can't handle criticism. He doesn't have the balls to actually release anything of substance. How many of these 'film festival' movies have you seen?
MAKE MORE MOVIES STUCKMAN WE NEED A WHOLE UNIVERSE OF STUCKMAN TO CHALLENGE MARVEL
fatdawgfilms It shall be called the SCU (Stuckman Cinematic Universe)
Stuckman Universal Cinematic Constellation (SUCC)
+Uno Roeslan Hahahaha SUCC

This hits differently after knowing your JW stories.
Seeing how adorable chris' dad is here breaks my heart! He no longer talks to his own son!
Chris had the biggest smile on his face when he introduced his Dad!
I want a Blu ray release of "The Woods: Ultimate Edition We're Sorry Cut."
Chris' acting face is just him looking angry lol
Yea. I noticed that too😂
Victor Van Pellicom Chris could make it big, Common does the same thing.
In all the early M Night Shyamalan films the protagonist is very glum and serious. Bruce Willis in Unbreakable, Mel Gibson in Signs and J Phoenix in the Village. I imagine Chris was trying to copy his style.
Dude, your parents are fucking awesome.
I hate to be that guy but. YES... From a certain point of view.
Oh dear… Have I got news for you!
Yeah, about that...
If a high budget company filmed it, it would have been really good
Watching this after hearing your defecting from JW story. I'm amazed you were allowed to make this movie at all. N that one of ur friends was ok with being shown. Ur a brave soul man. I really truly applaud ur drive.
With his daddy being sheriff, my heart breaks when I know that they no longer talk!
I grew up watching this movie
I went to my local blockbuster to pick it up
69*......giggity
Legitimately me
Chicken Man NUGGETS me too
🤣😂
I love how at 14:10 the blind man has a peek over the counter
I noticed that also lol
👍🏻

xD
😂😂😂 film theory, he isn't really blind, he's making up his blindness
Old glory calm down it was a fuckin joke
I thought when the Alien came back he'd go
"Oh Hi Mark" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
How's your sex life?
You're my favorite customer!
“Sorry I’m not in my uniform, I was at home when you called” has the same energy as “there’s a monster in my room, can I have a glass of water?”
True
Definitely sounds like a line Shyamalan would write
Chris' dad seems really sweet in this video! Knowing what I know now, my heart breaks!
Broomstick walking stick=iconic.
Sheriff apologizing for lack of uniform=actually a funny self-aware joke.
Addressing the walking stick being a broomstick because "it's cheaper"=hilarious!
Another point I'd say would be when doing a flash back scene to something which happened several weeks ago make sure your character isn't wearing the same clothes.
exactly*
"Is he not blind anymore? what does that mean..."
" *Its ambiguous* "
I'm laughing so hard XD
Shiva SarwaDe You know you could've just edited it right?
14:44
"Why is it a broomstick?"
"Oh shit, is it? Im fucking blind"
I am giving this movie an A+
Wait, if he's blind, why would the officer even say he's not in uniform, he can't see anyway
Joseph Salcce To the audience
Hahaha
you should upload the whole film on youtube!
like so chris can see!
Drink a shot every time Chris says "We'll get into that later"
Edit: don't actually attempt this
I took the challenge and I regret it
I took the challenge and now I'm in the hospital getting my stomach pumped
If Shelby Oaks doesn't take place in the same universe as this I'm out.
The hooded thing was actually pretty creepy
though, to be fair, that was mostly due to his score selections...everytime he showed a suspense shot I was on the edge waiting for a big James Newton Howard jumpscare-hit :D
Japelma Studios tbh I was just waiting for a twist ending and the hooded thing to end up being Emperor Palpatine
The time when we see it In the basement I jumped, because of the music and how creepy the hooded character was. yeah, you can tell I don't really watch horror movies. Heck! I can't even watch hitchcock's movies without freaking out. XD
Nah
I originally watched the video at 1 o clock in the morning and not gonna lie, it freaked me out.
This film really resonates with me. Especially since I grew up with Chris Stuckmann's home movies. Therefore, to see a full length film from him was so refreshing. I'm gonna give this film a B+
this hit difference now
Some of it does, yeah.
Im here because CHRIS has finally been confrimed to directing a Horror movie.
Perhaps in Shelby Oaks he can sneak in a reference to The Woods.
He should have made that "cop no uniform" thing a running gag. Like next time, his dad would show up stark naked before his door and say "Sorry that I'm not wearing my uniform, I was at this brothel when you called."
It would be a bit weird to be standing next to one of you parents naked.
Josh L xD
Lol josh im dying
It's not really weird to see your parents naked in every culture, but yeah Americans think that's weird. Even if it would a hilarious meme.
lol.....i like it*

It actually seems like a pretty good movie....
Good job, 16 year old Chris.
I just love how he is embarrassed yet still so happy talking about something he worked on for 2 years. It just seems so endearing.
i love that his parents were so down for all of this? my mother probably would've entertained me for a few minutes but she'd never drive to a cabin just so i could make a film this is adorable.
Wait why did the sheriff apologizes?

Hey chris, try remaking this now and compare how it turns out.
Just saying, i think you could turn out a decent psychological thriller these days.

Looking up from behind the counter even though you're blind. 8/8 would rate again.
I like how you frecuently used the Point Of View of a blind man. Absolutly loved this movie, top 10 of all time. The Citizen Kane of homemade movies
Chris, as an aspiring filmmaker myself I find these videos so inspiring. Every once in a while I sit down and watch the videos you made about your movies. The truth is I actually think they are pretty good for what you were working with. I would be proud if I made them now. Now you are in the process of making your first big feature. As someone who has been a long time fan and fellow filmmaker I just want to say thank you.
And there you go chris finally directing a horror movie
Which is great to finally hear. Hope it goes well, and that he doesn't quit uploading videos to youtube, but if he had to, I'd support him; and wish him good luck either way, and definitely miss him if he did end up having to go out there and follow his dream of directing movies. But if that's what has to happen in order for Chris to do his thing, than I wholeheartedly support that choice. Even if it meant saying goodbye to one of my favorite youtubers. But Chris has been a good guy, so I'm sure either way, it'll work out for him.
This actually sounds cool! I wish I grew up with it
Wow Chris you gave this an A+, but DAMN a 7/10? Unsubscrizzled.
