This video will be focusing on a power outage protocol, solar power, and power outage scenarios using information from videos 1 & 2.
Please watch video 1 and 2 first!

You are a GREAT teacher. I will need enough renewable energy to provide power to a refrigerator, freezer, kitchen lights, and a Master with a 9000 BTU mini split at night, all inside of a 1000 square foot house. These Ecoflow products seem hefty enough to provide that, as long as I purchase the right items. I will also want some sort of automatic Transfer Switch so that those items can be powered even in my absence. This is all Chinese/Arabic trigonometry to me, so I’ll have to watch your videos several times. Thanks for your hard work.

This series was so helpful. Living here in Florida is just as dicey as Texas….maybe more so. I also watched your video on the simulated 24 hour outage. It was awesome. Thanks for sharing all your hard work.

I watched all 3. I know creating that content is time consuming. Thanks for the effort. As I said before, watching you navigate the last crisis gave me insight into my power usage and areas needing some tweaking. Unfortunately I feel situations like that will become more prevalent as time passes. Thanks again and GOD BLESS.

Thanks for the videos. You always do a great job. I was in the Dallas area in February taking care of my 97 year old mom. She had just had partial hip replacement surgery. Thank the Lord I was there. She was using a walker and that is hard when you are all bundled up. Lots of chances for disaster. I was thankful for your videos and really like the tips about having a small power station (battery/inverter), an electric blanket and catalytic heaters. We never lost water but we were without power for over a day. I think it was zero degrees outside. I am finally getting around to building my own power system with 2000Watts of solar to start with. I look forward to learning more from you and sharing some of what I learn.

This is the most helpful series of videos I have found on UA-cam for making a backup power plan for my house. Thanks for all your hard work on this!

Thank you so much for saying so. I had been formulating the video in my mind for a couple years. Then it took several months to put together. Im so glad to hear someone values what I did. Thanks again!

@@LoneStarPrepping You have the knack for teaching that's for sure. I definitely subscribed to your channel. Finding a mentor who has gone through the outages you guys have gone through in Texas and then takes the time to teach the lessons, I'll listen! Thankfully we haven't had any terrible outages up here in Minnesota, but it sure could happen. Subscribed!

This is good for someone that deals with it,,but boy this could be confusing to someone thinking they can run their house for days...not gonna happen....I enjoyed it as I i use solar for ham radio..and I know how to use it in my house to keep me running efficiently and keep us alive...thanks for all parts

Thing is, though, once someone "gets" the theory of all this, there is no need for calculations. You can just shoot from the hip with an actual educated guess since its all about estimating anyway. Thanks for watching.

@@LoneStarPrepping absolutely..it was a great refresher for me and we just used this the past weekend for ham radio field day..I used solar with RV battery..one case of just monitoring,,the other half on transmitting.we were able to figure how long battery would last after sun went down..

Excellent set of videos. My conclusion is that I will keep my batteries at 100% at all times. That I will prioritize (1)running my freezer ,(2)use an electric blanket if necessary to keep warm, and (3) keep my cell phone/laptop charged up as well. Everything else I can manage with other sources of energy (plenty of batteries for light, and can use wood fireplace for cooking or my butane stove). Thanks again, you are a great teacher!
