Beautiful ride, fantastic scenery looks great in 4k. I'd get that speedo checked out though ;)
Haha cheers man 😁🤙
Amazing scenery and a wonderful bike! I'm getting ready to pick one of these Suzuki's as my first bike. Can't wait.
It is man, go for it ✌ ride safe
@@seemerollin675 Just finished my first season on my 2006 GS500 and I couldn't be happier. After about 5000km it performs great and is a very solid bike for an extremely low price. Didn't have any major accidents or mechanical trouble on the bike. Initally it was supposed to be a bike for 2 years until I will be able to get the full A license for a bigger bike, but with the rising fuel prices and the overall quality of the ride on the GS, I think it's gonna stay with me for longer. It's fast enough to get yourself in trouble on, cheap to run and cheap to maintain. Comfortable enough for some light touring. Just a good do it all bike. Here is a video of a ride on it.

Big thanks for inspiring me to get this bike. 😀
@@my_negative_world really happy to hear that and well said! It also stayed with me way longer than i thought, but yea as you said it's a good and cheap allrounder bike! I wish you a safe ride and a lot of fun my friend 👊✊
Beautiful scenery 😍 , beautiful bike 🏍 and awesome driving as always. 💪 We have had some great driving weather here too and my own GS has already racked up a lot of KM's 🌞
Cheers man 😊 nice to hear that, hope you enjoyed the ride! 🤙ride safe
Yes my dude!
Killer sound, killer looks man🤟. Gets me through the icy winter :D.
Thanks man, great to hear that🤜🤛
It's a pretty sweet ride indeed.
If you want the same sound in winter, assuming you have snow, the Yamaha Phazer snowmobile also has a 4-stroke 180-degree parallel twin.
Nice souding GS you got there. I have a '05 GS that doesn't rev as freely high and as yours. Might need a carb job I think.
Super mate also waiting until I leave my street triple but the weather does not add left up greet 👋😀
Thanks man, hope we can ride our triple again soon! 👋
Twin sound ......🥰🥰🥰
I'm buying one this tuesday but it's the 35kw version. Hope it's just as awesome!!
That's all the power they have
I'm looking at getting a GS500 to replace my thirsty Yamaha XJ600S (also want to pay less than a fortune for insurance every year lol), I've seen a lot about poor suspension and fast corrosion on the frame. Have you had any problems like these, and anything you would recommend I do to remedy/prevent future problems? Cheers
Hey man, did you get a GS500? I bought one and I love it! Yes the frame paint is average. You can swap a SV650 shock with a little bit of work and it really helps.
nice ride
@@legolaskradsbrstig1432 cheers!
Awsome riding just looked at a 2006 gs500f today. 2,000 bucks. Think I'm getting g it.
Thanks buddy, get one they're nice bikes 😁🤙
@@seemerollin675man I saw one at $2,000 and is a GS500 2002 with 16k miles. Is that a good deal?
@@igorrosales1799 sounds quite good
@@seemerollin675 Excelente, i will buy it then
Nice video men!!
Thanks mate!
LG, fahr vorsichtig und mach weiter so! 🏍️
Servus, danke dir erstmal!
Will be driving mine again tomorrow after almost 2 months at the garage for some repairs. Going to do the clutch next week when the weather is good, shouldn't be to hard to do.
Painting the back side tomorrow due to some rust behind the back wheel.. Done it few years back, but rust came back.
Nice man enjoy it. I also have to do the clutch i think it's time..
Know about the rust problem, i had some on the exhaust manifold, painted it two times 👍
@@seemerollin675 Engine is more healthy now then before, garage changed one intake shim because it was less then 0.03mm and should be between 0.03 and 0.08mm on all of them. Have installed orginal exhaust back today and there's not rejet required. It pulls from 7500 and higher as it should be.
Maybe flushing the engine the second time and then change the clutch. Yes i have rust in some places, but a little work should cure the problem.
Carbs got adjusted and synchronised after valve adjustment. Still not a fast bike, but cheap to maintain and repair. Ordered the TRW clutch, oil and filter from Louis.de. Oil for 19.99 10w40 4L
ua-cam.com/video/7Gdy5w8WC8s/v-deo.html
@@seemerollin675 Done the clutch today and removing side cover with the pickups is very easy, but the gasket behind the cover can be a pain in the ass to remove. Took me over two hours to remove most of it. Used a little bit of silicon gasket maker and then a new gasket that came with the kit. It's not leaking oil at all.
Run-in period for the clutch is 300km, will do a oil change shortly after that again with filter.
Used a TRW Super clutch kit and must said the springs are much stiffer then the orginal worn ones.
Soak the plates for 24 hours in the oil before installing.

Gs500 sold and getting the bandit 1200 tomorrow, but don't have the proper license yet. Even then will be driving around now and then.
From 43hp to 98 ( on paper, reality is max 110hp ).
@@daand12 cool man, Bandit is a nice bike with a looot of power💪
Very nice! I just got my new GS500E last week. Very satisfied with it. What exhaust is that and where did you get it from?
Thanks a lot! This is a Takkoni exhaust, you'll find it on the internet. Enjoy your GS !
@@seemerollin675 That's the cheap one that'll only get louder over time because the interior's burning away, is it?
@@snailie it's cheap, but almost every exhaust get louder over time, doesn't depend on the price
@@seemerollin675 Absolutely. I just keep hearing that it doesn't take the Takkoni as long as other (pricier) exhaust systems... that's what I meant.
Nice moment of doubt/trust at 03:38
haha yea you never know..😁
May I ask you what year your model is from ?
I've got a gs500 from 2005 and it doesn't sound the same at all, especially over 7000 revs, which suffer from a drop in power the 1500 revs earlier. Yours sounds super linear.
Beautiful shots and scenery. Thanks for this.
Its from 1993.. but i also felt that lack in power around 5000-6000 rpm even if it doesnt sound like.
Thanks for your comment man!
Great videos! Lovely sound of a great machine! Congratulations and thank you 🎉
What tires do you use?
Nice channel dude. I see you've replaced the exhaust and rejetted. Does your GS500 have performance cams or any other engine mods?
Thanks a lot buddy! I've only replaced the exhaust (takkoni slip on) the rest is stock!
@@seemerollin675 Do you hear any difference while riding? I got the Stock Exhaust and i cant hear it while on the bike.
I could buy a Takkoni for a few bucks, but i dont know if its worth it.
@@patrickbateman4148 you can hear it while riding and i think it's worth it! And if you still think it's not loud enough put the dB eater out and you got a Sound like a harley mate 🤙
@@seemerollin675 I just asked you the same question below one other Video of yours in german 😁 So Thank you for answering, that was my main concern, that you cant hear the sound while sitting on the bike. Do you think 80 bucks for a used one is adequat?
Will this bike keep up with a cbr500?
Probably, the got almost the same Power as far as i know
I think the gs has a few less hp and is a little heavier
@@korazon3spinado it has 46hp and around 190kg (with full tank). Shouldn't be a big diffrence
Not a big difference
Hi man! What handlebar do you use on it? As I see it is not the stock 👌
Hi it's the lsl x01👍
@@seemerollin675 is it better than a newer GS's stock handlebar?
@@zoltanszabo22 I don't know how the newer gs's stock bar is😅 if it s a stub handelbar than definetly switch it to a superbike handlebar like the Lsl I have, there are also lot of different models which are similar
Hello, I'm wondering if a person with 190 cm and 100 kg could fit on the gs and if some slightly longer routes (80 km per day) would be possible for me?
Hey, it would be possible but the question is if its comfortable, and i don't think so. I'm 1,75 and it's ok for me, but on longer trips it's getting uncomfortable to be honest. I would search for a bigger bike..
@@seemerollin675 Yes, but there is a problem. I want my first motorcycle to be naked, not enduro, and I don't have a lot of money to spend on a motorcycle (not over 3000€) and plus it must fall into category A2.
@@big_bear__ do a testride and see how you feel on it. But i'm pretty sure it's too small. Naked bikes in general don't have really high seat position. Maybe a suzuki Bandit or duke690. I recommend search on the internet, look for seat heights and go to bike Shops, sit on them and try what works. Good luck
@@seemerollin675 Thank you very much!🤘
Hey there, nice video btw. I have a question for you.. i just go my full A licence and im thinking of buying this bike as my first bike. Would you recomend this bike to someone who only rode 50cc scooters before and wants to get on a little bigger bikees?
Hey man thank you!
I can highly recommend this bike as a beginner bike, i also had it as my first bike and i'm still super happy with it! It's light and easy to handle and forgives you beginner mistakes you will made..and it's cheap! Could go on with more arguments but i think this should do it 😅
@@seemerollin675 ty for the response, i dont know what's cheap in your country but its not that cheap where im from but its affordable. Ty again
Does anyone know what year is the bike on the video??
It's from 1992
Anyone else notice when he blurred the speedometer when he was speeding🤣🤣
was für spiegel nutzt du ?
Did you do any suspension upgrades to this bike?
Nope, it's stock 👍
Hi, ive just passed my full test and have a GS (see my channel). I dont trust the bike to lean as much as you do here, say when im doing 60 plus. Is this a fairly safe bike for this? Great riding by the way!!
Hey man, congrats to your GS 👍 i wouldnt recommend you to lean more as you feel safe with! Most of the bikes can handle much more than you might think, so your bike can probably handle it, but as i said, if you dont feel safe, don't ride over your limits! Take your time, gain experience and you will probably get there 👍
@@seemerollin675 Thanks for the reply! Great video by the way and the camera is so clear.
@@mackenzie77777 cheers man i give my best to keep it clean😁 another thing which can help you to feel more safe and secure are tires! My BT45 never disappointed me 👍
@@seemerollin675 My rear tyre is Bridgstone Exeora G550. Front is Bridgstone Exeora G547.

@@seemerollin675 you riding somewhere in Alps? U got really nice views three :)
@@XBIKERxx yea the views are great but it's the north of the Blackforest, not the alps👍
How reliable has this been? Is it a good motorcycle for a beginner?
It was always reliable and i would say it's a perfect beginner bike! I started with this bike and i couldn't wish for more.
@@seemerollin675 thanks! I’m not too mechanically inclined so I’m worried about the carbs. Was wondering if they were high maintenance?
@@RajerThatYT can't remember when was the last time i checked it..but it shouldnt be a big deal.
I just got my GS500 (2015), great bike. Its my very first motorcycle and Im so happy with it, great power, trustful engine and confortable in general, the only point to aware is that you have no additional help for anything, no suspention, no ABS... Its just You
Amazing views. How aggressive is the sport type foot peg positioning on these bikes? My 1st bike was a cruiser with floor boards. I am thinking of getting this but I am affraid my knees and back will be in pain after 30 minutes.
Thanks man! Depends on how tall you are. It's not the best knee angle you can get, but it's okay I also did longer trips on it without pain. If you get it you should change your handle bar though, the original isn't very comfortable.
@@seemerollin675 Can I ask u, how tall are u? I'm considering to buy a GS500 just like yours, but I'm 186cm, and I want a comfortable bike 😅
@@michaelkoubridis3783 i'm about 175cm, and unfortunately it's not a bike for tall guys...It was kind of comfortable for me, but i would have wished for a bit heigher seat. So with 186cm i guess it's too small to be comfortable mate
