@@S0m3oness3m3nn i mentioned that in the video, clipping mask on top of lineart/sketch, colour in the clipping mask with a colour near to the painting layer
It's so good!! I found your art on Twitter and was blown away, the amount of effort you put into your work really shows and your ability to explain it is top notch :)✨
thank you for the process breakdown! i rlly admire your art and use of colours, i know you’ll make it big one day in the art industry im rooting for ya❤️👍
My favorite artist made a UA-cam channel! AHH, I love your style and I'm so excited to learn more about your painting process! I wish you success, be brave! 💕
I really loved the insight + humorous moments of casual unhinged-ness. Thanks for the video, it's always fun to learn from artists and see how they tackle things and even how they might make some mistakes. I'm bad at not warming up too!
Omg I love your video and thank you for telling us ab how long it takes you to draw them 😭 I get insecure when I stay too long on a drawing…… I also love the self criticism like it’s so refreshing to see this !!! can’t wait for the next video !
There are a few actually, usually they’re more so for specific parts related to art styles, like “how i colour/render lips” sinix has a few videos on rendering tips for beginners!! I recommend him
I admire at take so many tips from ur insta post alone this video gave me idea of planning out my coloring and its similar how I already do it!! You are such a inspiration I think this is going to really change the quality of my art tysm!! (Ur character designs has me in a choke hold)
I love your videos so much because they are always so helpful, but they also never fail to make me laugh at least a bit which makes them much better LMAO
clicked because of the idiot-word i was so curious ahahah, but stayed for the art, even though i dont know how to draw. but i really like your work!! gonna wait for another video, also i love ur accent so charming :>
I love the breakdown of how you paint 💜 Could you do something like that but for the way you breakdown anatomy? Or a book you recommend I’m currently reading Michael Hamptons figure and drawing but I’m curious about your approach
I’ve been a self taught artist for a long while, and have never gotten myself any anatomy books because my country isnt shippable for most of them, how ever i do recommend the superani made(?) i hope i got that right.. i dont really keep a catalogue of artbooks in mind
omg yess exactly what ive been needing!! i love the colors you use and now i finally know how u approach them. tysm! hoping to see more guides from u 💕
Thank you so much for the video !! It was very informative that you were breaking down your own mistakes and telling the corrections. Learned a lot from this ^^ Hope I can watch more of your future videos! Subscribed from now on 🙏
Omg i've just noticed that i've been watching you on UA-cam and tiktok seperatly and i just realised by clicking onto ur linktree that ur the same person ❤
I am yet to grasp rendering for the life of me, I've tried endless times over and over, I will say your video is insane and I love your style. But regardless of how much I improve anatomy wise I just cant get this.
Wow this video is amazing! My colors tend to be too saturated, this definitely makes me want to try a new approach to painting/coloring. Just a side question, what artists did you use to reference for the last sketch?
Hi Nudeerah, may I ask about the layer in that you draw the skin, do you draw the skin with different colors just in 1 layer and add the shadow, and the light source in different ones, or in each layer you put only one color
I feel like I’m missing something 😅 I’ve watched the video a few times and tried to replicate the layer structure but I’m doing something wrong because with the desaturated colors clipped to the sketch layer they don’t show up. My layer stack from top to bottom is: - shadow/highlight (normal) Clipped to - sketch layer (multiply) - desaturated colors (normal) Clipped to -grey contour layer (normal) Where am I going wrong?
Yea I’m sorry but this really didn’t help at all, like i tried replacating the hanzo part but I just can’t get the right colors that you do or how to blend them properly
Hello everyone, i hope this video was somewhat useful(?)
Yes, but i would like to know exactly what you do to the linart layer?? It looks kinda apparent but, it also looks blended in
@@S0m3oness3m3nn i mentioned that in the video, clipping mask on top of lineart/sketch, colour in the clipping mask with a colour near to the painting layer

Awesome video! I do have a question though, did you use the same method of layering (grey base, color, and multiply shadows) with paining Mei?
Ayo thanks for the video, the app is called VizRef btw haha
for anyone needing a place to put their references on pc, pureref is free and very helpful :]
as someone who has just started painting, i understood half of the words hahahaha but it was cool anyway
