The fact that Vee was now once again face to face with the man who literally enslaved her and used her for his own malicious intentions yet immediately jumped in to battle him if it meant her friend/brother could be saved makes me love her so much

That’s exactly what Camilla would’ve come to expect from Luz. It’s really interesting how Vee’s unfamiliarity with the human realm just comes off as goofy weirdness or autism.

Honestly, i think she's the one that inflicted the most severe injury to Phillip: He relied upon magic to maintain his body together and Vee literally ate a good part of it.
Maybe that's why he began having such a hard time holding himself together and possessing people in the next episode.

I find it interesting that Vee's awkward reaction when initially becoming a human perfectly reflected something Luz would say simply because Luz was that weird and awkward all the time.

It also occurs to me that the "Learn to fit in Camp" that she got sent to in Luz's place probably helped her acclimate to life in the human world too....
Something I like about Camila is that she was able to look past all the magic and demon parts of the kids to recognize they're still kids. Most other adult humans would freak out at the concept of magic and demons existing, but she seems to process it very well (or she was able to compartmentalize it well for the sake of the kids).

@@emanuelrojas2Honestly that's a pretty good explanation. While Luz was learning all the woerdness of the Boiling Isles, Vee was getting a professional crash course on how to be a completely normal person.
And I loved how Vee was the perfect mirror for Luz. Luz found her place in the Demon Realm with Eda as her second mom, and Vee found her place in the Human Realm with Camila as her adoptive mom. And now Luz has both an adoptive brother (King) and sister (Vee). It's just a shame that they didn't show Luz and Vee having more sisterly moments.

She's got such an iconic and adorable voice for this character, I agree that nobody else could've come CLOSE to being this good as Vee

I still like that Vee was honest about how she resented Luz for taking her life for granted. That’s such a relatable feeling of guilt, as everyone feels envy and frustration. But we can also feel bad for feeling those emotions, and know that just because we resent them doesn’t mean we hate them or would ever act in our negative feelings.
True, but in the end, Luz following Owlbert ended up saving SO many lives.
To be fair, Luz needed to hear it because up to that point, she hadn't considered just how selfish she was being. She thought she could have her cake and eat it, too. But life doesn't work that way. The episode was basically a reality check for Luz.
This actually used to be my only issue with Vee. She just judged Luz for running away without knowing anything about why. Yeah Vee went through terrible things, but she had no idea how hard it’s been for Luz before (losing her Dad, not fitting in, how the demon realm was meant to be temporary visit etc.). It was unfair of Vee to criticize her without knowing the circumstances. But I’m glad she let it go in Thanks To Them. I’m guessing Vee found out about Luz’s dad and finally understood what drove her away. And now they’re basically sisters :)

I love that Luz's isekai shenanigans aren't just glossed over, between this and Camila's reaction, it really hits good and hard.

We were all worried when we saw a doppelganger in Luz's place in the Human realm, but when it was revealed Vee just wanted somewhere to live, that fear was forgotten.
I was worried she was some sort of reaction resulting from Luz going through. Glad I was wrong and Luz got a sister.

Vee got a sister and mom, so it heart warming to see how Camila protect and took care of her future adoptive daughter while Vee most of the times call her mom

Camila hears her daughter call her a "fellow human" and marvel at her own skin and go, "Yep, that's my baby."
Even though we don't see much of her plus the fact season 3 is only gonna be three episodes she's already become one of my favorite side characters.
I love willow, gus, amity, hunter, lilith, and the always meme-able Hooty (because who can't say no to his adorable face). But Vee just immediately out ranks them. Plus the fact giving the main character an adopted sister who is also a basilisk is kinda badass.

Vee is literally a sister/daughter figure for Luz and Camila and it makes her such a great character it's just sad that these connections have not been more explored due to the lack of episodes even though we got glimpses of Luz's and her teenagehood in the epilogue

I am really sad that we could have gotten a bunch of episodes with Vee but didn't due to the cancelation. I love her new design!

Not to mention that when Luz fully expected her to be angry for running away, Camila just said "Nah fam no point you're back and that's the important part". As if punishment is going to do anything but cause more pain at that point. Luz was being cared for, grew as a person, and is capable of making smart choices. When a parent sees their child has become self reliant, that's when you know you succeeded. What could you possibly be angry about? Running away? Your kid brought four of her friends home for a many months long sleepover, friends that you worried she'd never have.

The seen where Hunter is fighting back and then he throws the Titians blood in the water is like the final bookmark for him as a person and then we get the drowning seen witch for me its not only funny but interesting because did Bellows-Hunter know how to swim or did his ears disrupt him and he passed out or did he breathe water in? The seen is also funny because not only was Bellows-Hunter like Noooooo and his last ditch attempt was swimming to the Titans blood but as he got the blood he was like "yes I got it what where am I" and then he passes out.

I wonder if Belos/Philip ever learned to swim too (he explored the Boiling Isles over the centuries), but I guess he either never did and let others go ahead to swim for him, which fits for his character, or he may not have had the capacity to swim while in possession form. It would also have been hard to do while Hunter was fighting him off.

I think the reason why Vee stayed behind is because during the battle against Bunter (belos) vee almost got smashed so she know she wasn’t prepared for whats to come in the boiling isles especially when you have a Child acting god that turns you into a puppet, a goopy monster entity that will soon use the isles itself and a totally insane kitty (kikimora) plus who’s gonna take care of the noceda residents while camilia is away

At least we got to see her new look and GOD DAMN she's just as adorable as her Thanks To Them look. Hopefully we do get more time with her because I'm sure Dana knows how much people actually loved Vee and wanted more of her.
I just literally realized that when she goes to sat number five but then says "Vee", is because it was probably written in the form of a Roman numeral, "V" for five. So the guards probably called her number five, but she saw "V", and at some point when she learned to write, she saw how the letter was pronounced, and made that her name. I feel a little stupid. 😅

Here's a commet I made on another clips of Vee, I'm glad Vee was not baddie she want to be safe and love, she taking Luz's place over and bonding with Camilla was so sweet and hearing backstory is so heartbroken being a test subject by Belos and when Camilla sees her form she didn't freak out or disgusting but instead she was proud to have her and loved her as much as Luz even though Vee had little screen time she quickly being a fan favorite and i love every single second of her she's definitely my favorite minor character.
Vee has some of the biggest controversy questions about her. Like who is she better shipped with, Hunter or Masha? Is Vee a "She/Her", "They/Them", or something else?
But here's something everyone can agree on. Vee is an adorable bean who deserves all the hugs & must be protected at all time. I mean, just look at her little cat lips & her amazing eyes. Vee is a bean, 100%.
