Honestly, I'm glad I didn't buy this game after seeing the insane disappointment on my friend's face! Surely the worm would've been a better boss... but no it's a giant sack of disappointment meat.

You made it farther than I did but it looks like we had the same struggles and issues. The game is unfinished, glitchy, monotonous in design, and worst of all, its boring. It's not even funny bad like Sonic '06, and it was clearly a rush job. But the question is...why the rush? No one was clamoring for a King Kong video game, and this game has no ties to the Monsterverse which has Kong in it. So why rush out a game no one was asking for?
And yes those crabs SUCK!
I know a Godzilla movie was coming out at the time, and I think a Kong movie is coming out this year, so maybe it was prepping for that? Either that or it was a cash grab? I say cash grab!

@@Randombystanderhere It's a cash grab most definitely. The lore of this game is based on the King Kong novels by Joe DeVito, in which Kong is orphaned by a giant dinosaur called Gaw, the big red raptor looking creature Kong's mom fights in the opening of the game. The novels expand upon and add to the story line of the original King Kong from 1933.
So, absolutely no ties to the Godzilla and Kong we see in the Monsterverse from Legendary Pictures. That has its own lore, and a new movie coming out in March called Godzilla x Kong The New Empire, and the Monsterverse itself consists of Godzilla 2014, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla King Of The Monsters, and Godzilla vs Kong.
And this game doesn't have any ties to the most recent Godzilla film from Toho Studios, Godzilla Minus One. That movie also has no ties to the Monsterverse.
I just bring all of that up to say, this game had no business being a rushed cash grab. It could have been its own fun thing off in its corner, but nope!

Whenever it comes out on Switch…which I honestly doubt it will. But who knows?
