If you rotate the walls hardside in when placing TC this can help with placing TC as there is slightly more room when hardside in. Just don't forget to rotate hardside back out when done!
@@lethalfalloff -make bunkers (horizontal pixel gaps) see Gamelightz channel, vendy bunkers, make externals, spread loot around, make it as hard as possible for raiders to take loot. A good tactic is to leave 30% of your stuff easy to access so raiders think they have it all. When truly the rest is in externals and bunkers, etc. I like to also waste peoples time and boom by building random cubes in my compound with drop boxes that look like they may have loot in them. Nothing like watching a team use their boom on a metal or Hi Qual 1x1 to no where with nothing in it! XD.

@@radicuds good point, that is another issue with this base. The batteries in the gate house are just too easy for raiders to get to. I used 2 medium batteries by each jump up to the core and shooting floor and metaled the outside to make sure it was 16 rockets to get to each one.

dude, i have the same armored doors skins and it looks all bad as soon as i walk away from them. what graphic option does affect that? i have all options pretty high, like not max but almost, cant figure out what it is.

In the event of a raid where your main tc is broken, neither you or the raiders will be able to replace it as long as you have externals. If you dont have a disconnectable tc you will have to break the external tcs to replace the main one
design seems cool.. rlly like the way u builded it.. but seems a tiny bit too cheap to raid.. like to core u need 2 walls + some doors or 1 more wall.. and any of the bunkers are like 2 walls.. doing them hq would give them away and leaving them metal makes them too cheap.. i mean base is good but more for a solo duo.. would never build it for a trio run.
The base has some flaws and is way to cheap to raid through doors, i find it to expensive to build with little to no offline protection beside two vending machines which can be soft sided after getting TC. That being said i'll give it a solid 6/10, for it's interesting design and compound seperation.
@@matifeder The vending machine bunkers are some of my favorite designs, but if you want a base you enjoy and feel comfy in you'll need to create it yourself. If you don't feel like making one, I'd suggest The Solitary II (floor stacked design), or if you just want a vending machine bunker The Agitator (with personal tweaks to the shooting floor)

10:57 you need to flip the ramp facing you. It gives no protection and someone can just crouch through the sides if they blow that wall.

Why are these vending machine bunkered loot rooms so popular? Sure they're unlootable, but the boxes are easily splashed...

You can put double doors or single doors to avoid that plus if you put boxes in the right placement if boxes get destroyed by splash they still can't get the fallen loot until they break vending machine which is 10 rocket's
It’s to basically annoy the raider, it’s a middle finger for them (simplest way I can put it) they aren’t able to loot boxes

So you can replaces the main tc
In the event of a raid where your main tc is broken, neither you or the raiders will be able to replace it as long as you have externals. If you dont have a disconnectable tc you will have to break the external tcs to replace the main one
