I can't believe I'm going to my first game Sunday night

Also KC isn't that tough. They screwed the Bengals in my opinion and they barely got passed the Ravens.
All we have to do is run the ball and bet on Kirk to read the defense correctly before he rips it. Our defense is top notch. Mahomes will try to run, but if we can force him to pass it, or we sack him a couple of times, it will shake him up. We do that and it's a dub.
The last time we met KC in 2020, Koo missed a FG kick that would have sent us into overtime, but instead that sent the Chiefs into the playoffs and off to play Brady and the Bucs at the Superbowl. We went to KC and KC was the defending SB champs. We were 4-12 that season.
We have a much better team than what we had in 2020.

There’s no way he meant it that way. They definitely intend to be play off contenders. Falcons didn’t spend all that money for a throw away season that’s ridiculous to even think.
First of all....he never used the word "rebuilding". To add to the other comments, he also meant to continue building their chemistry so it looks like they have been playing together for years.

This is not unusual for fans to be easily decieved, lied too, and remain confused when this type of rebuild takes place. It's pretty simple the former headcoach, most of his coaching staff, and eventually most of the players will be cut, fired, or released, and traded. Raheem conman morris just like Terry Clown fotenot has come in to tear the team apart and rebuild it allegedly into a dynasty. Now most of the old-timer fans out here in the Atlanta area know exactly what that entails. A 3 to 5 year transition to a completely different team of their making. These two are not going to win and let Arthur Smith get all the credit for building the team as he has done. Nope, sorry, this is a rebuild season and while they change and cut personnel their going to hover just under .500 for the next three years. Raheem is nothing more than marketing to fill the seats based on lies, and overhyped about promises he has zero control over and has zero history or qualification as a headcoach in the past. So enjoy fans it's going to be another long road back for our falcons. Now you understand Penix.
The ATL offense is good for both QBs. Both QBs are pocket passers. Although I think the oc will have learn
how to make it functional for a left handed qb. Such as the footwork before the snap. No way should it be the same as for kirk when Penix is in. Anyway nothing to think about now.

Eagles Dline is nothing like the Chiefs folks. Kirk will have to make quicker reads. The backs and TEs must chip on every pass play. You can not beat the Chiefs by making mistakes. The pass rusher must improve or Mahomes and Kelce will make them look stupid.
Sorry I would say eagles Dline is better. KC is well coached and don’t make mistakes
@@Boss2164 and if they do make a mistake....the refs help them out. Not all of the time, just on those critical plays to help them win. Watch the end of the Vikings and Chiefs game last year sometime. The Chiefs committed three blatant back to back penalties and the the refs never called any of them.

The Shanahan's gave Kirk a good start in his career. He was very fortunate!😅
It's crazy the amount of great coaches that he had in Washington...Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, Mike McDaniel, Kevin O'Connell. They all speak highly of him, too. And....both Mike Shanahan and Sean McVay strongly felt that Kirk could lead his team to win a Super Bowl.

It’s a shame our GM decided to waste a high 1st rounder on a QB instead of not only getting a great defensive player, but also allowing Kirk to settle into his new team and gain acceptance with the fan base. Instead we have a lot of *certain* types of fans who are calling for Penix every time Kirk makes a bad play
I disagree! Look what happen to the Miami Dolphins quarterback and Kirk Cousins last year with his last team. If Atlanta makes it to the playoffs this year, and we did not take Penix, our next draft pick for a new quarterback would not be in the top 10. Atlanta made the correct decision on drafting Penix. The Superbowl winner drafts last out of 32 teams. No playoff team can draft in the top 10 unless they make a deal with other teams. The last place team has first pick... checkout Carolina's Panters #1 quarterback pick.
"We like that" Kirko, but he's 36 yrs-old, coming off serious injury... Mike Penix, Jr. is simply an insurance policy to save our season, if needed, (See Dolphins' Tua) and to start in two years. Cousins is here to win a Super Bowl asap, not to rebuild. And we addressed defense with proven free agent vets. (So far, Matt Judon has outplayed the rookies, Dallas Turner, Verse and Latu.)
Maybe Penix should get a little work with the starting offense every week,just in case.😮
