Bead soup is my favorite way to make almost all of my jewelry. The mix of all the colors, shapes & textures just reminds me of the 70’s & 80’s. Kinda boho hippy. Definitely my favorite look! Thanks for this video! ❤️
What a great idea! And I think for me that Katie came in first place. Alicia came in second place. And Susan…you are first place in my book for teaching us all how to “Make our jewelry better”.
Im "guessing" except for the "soup beads" ( i truly LOVE the colorful collections ladies)😍😁😄 do you sell the tools/pieces shown in this video??? I get so frustrated when i visit local craft stores and they always have "nothing"😕😕😕
@@SKiTzGEMINI Yes, I agree 👍 I would love to get one of those long needles that one of the young ladies used to make the stretch bracelets. That was amazing! I've never seen that sort of needle before, I've only used a small beading needle with one strand of stretchy elastic cord on it. I had no idea that you could even use more than one strand! Thanks girls for the great work you did for this video. Love from Amanda in Australia xox ❤
my 'soups' usually have pearls in the mix lol and i use 24g wire (pearls have tiny holes) ... i do necklaces and at least 26 inches long... they are so fun
Dear Rosalinda, you can buy the wire that they used at any good jewellery making supply shop, either in person or online. The wire you need is called Artistic Wire and it comes in different gauges and colours. The gauge of the wire is it's thickness, and the lower the gauge number is, the thicker the wire is. So, 18 gauge wire is much thicker than, say, 24 gauge wire. The girls in this video used different gauges of wire, so I suggest that you show this video to whoever you are buying the wire from. Or, you could ring up a store that sells jewellery wire and tell them what you need. Good luck sweetie, from Amanda in Australia
Do you all remember what size cord for the beaded bracelet was used? I am new to making jewelry and I struggle with the stretchy cords-which size/strength. Thanks!
How were you able to get the crimp beads on that elastic? I watched but I still couldn’t tell how they could possibly fit into the holes. What size crimp bead and what size was the hole on those beads?
Hi! They are just called small, medium or large quick link connectors. Here is a link to the kit we carry! www.jtv.com/product/quick-links-component-kit-of-310-assorted-shape-size-quick-links-310-connectors-12-lobster-clasps/JSKIT0933B?mcid=XSOjsyt
Nice bracelet! But let’s make the rings you have on, especially the one on your left hand. The one on your right hand looks like leather and pearl. Let’s make that too.😊. Now back to the bracelet!
Alicia is using a 10mm round quick link. Quick links come in several mm sizes, so it's personal preference. Us the bigger ones if you want! Hope this helps! www.jtv.com/product/quick-links-component-kit-of-310-assorted-shape-size-quick-links-310-connectors-12-lobster-clasps/JSKIT0933C?mcid=XSOjsyt

Our world is fast getting to where we can no longer afford to use plastic beads. Glass is better. Gemstones and mineral metals is best. I've never liked costume jewelry and now I understand why. Its not good enough. When I was younger I thought, why not wear light earrings that won't stretch your lobe holes.? Well 50 years later a hundred million pairs of plastic earring decorations still fill the land they were buried in. Our oceans have microscopic plastic in them that every creature on earth can trace some of it in their autopsy tests. We all have it. So I'm with jewelry wire wrappers that use Earth's ingredients. Natural minerals are always better. These rock shows prove it can still be done. No need to pour more resin. 😭 For a coffee table no one will want in 50 years. But its a chunk of unwanted plastic now. 😭
Right on, how about all those Keurig coffee cups, and tampons and kitty litter and all the extreme packaging for these meal plans that send you 3 or 4 large ice packs and each piece of food is wrapped in all kinds of plastic pillows and bubble wrap and then it is packed in layers of plastic. Its a horror how much waste and plastic goes into each purchase we make. I like to repurpose everything, some of the stuff is so pretty too. But still a nightmare to think all creatures and all people are breathing this stuff in as it breaks down and flakes off into our lives. There, now that's 2 of us on a rant!!!
This was a fun tutorial. Really enjoyed it. Great ideas for necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Thank you ladies.
I always love seeing what you 3 ladies come up with - Awesome and loving each necklace and bracelet created. :)

FABULOUS...GREAT JOB LADIES!
You make everything look easy. Love watching and learning from all of you. Thanks for sharing!
loved your ideas
Love these ideas! When I have "bead soup," I make multi-strand rainbow bracelets.
Holy smokes I can't believe you can fit 4 lengths of elastic in ANY bead! 😮😮
Love your designs. You ladies are the best.
Haven’t seen the needle for the stretchy bracelets before - great idea. Thanks for sharing.

That was so easy and kind of quick. Thank you for sharing.
Really cute. Question: why don't you pre-stretch all the cord for the stretch bracelets? That helps the bracelet to not stretch out later.
Beautiful! I will try it since I have many beads around. Thank you for sharing
Now THAT is the type of string that i NEED😳😳😳😳😍😍😍😍

Oh man….I love all 3 designs!💖💖💖💖
Very beautiful love 😘
That's awesome, thanks for chatting with us 🙏🙏🙏💓
So many great designs/ideas.
Great video. Thank you
Love these!
Love these ideas, great inspiration, thanks!
These were really cool pieces, but is it possible to show men's options in the same challenge?😀
I like the way you "craft"😍😍😍😍😊
There are a few good illustrators of "manly bracelets" and their options on yt. Check them out. Beware of new tutors tho', 🙄🙄🙄.
Thanks 💞!!
Great tutorial… a question? At what length do you bend the wire to make the loops? If it’s too short I might not be able to finish the three wraps… 😊

I would love to know how to make the Pearl ring and bracelet Susan has on her right hand and arm.
How were you able to get the crimp beads on that elastic? I watched but I still couldn’t tell how they could possibly fit into the holes. What size crimp bead and what size was the hole on those beads?
to me it looked like 4mm which is a good size to hide the large knot.
Hi, love all 3 designs but do you know what the peanut links are actually called?

The last lady used a beading needle just for making elastic bracelets. So how can I get one?

But $100???? Wow
@@gigiday6174 thats for the whole kit ... I made my own out of florist wire. I also use the dental loops but they are not long like the wire.
@@ooohlaa13thank you. Could you send me a pic?
So I could visualize what you’re doing?

Here is how to make the Memory Wire Ring she has on: ua-cam.com/video/QBaqPjrFI98/v-deo.html
We can ask her about the other one!
Did I miss something? How did you connect each connector?
Never mind, I missed it, but found where it’s connected. Thanks!
What size links are being used for this necklace?

Do you all have the links Alicia used on her necklace? I think she called it a “peanut”. Would love to order some.
