I love Caitlin and Leah and this interview was so interesting! But feel like I had to comment on you saying that surrogacy for a gay male couple should be "way more accessible". You need to really think about what this would entail - a woman needs to have a baby and give it away to someone else, and the implications and challenges of that. There is also a lot of room for exploitation of women from more disadvantaged situations - rich couples "buying" surrogacy from women from poorer countries, or women still die in childbirth vs extremely low to non existent risk of death for men when donating sperm for example. So although I appreciate that it definitely is sad that gay men can't as easily become parents, and I don't disagree with surrogacy in principle, I am also glad that surrogacy isn't something that is easily available as it is so complicated and nuanced.
