As many of you have already noted, this podcast was recorded before the tragic news of Bray Wyatt's passing. We here at Cultaholic extend our condolences to the friends and family of Bray Wyatt.
@@juicybear7696 correct, almost embarrassing that you had to make this point. Imagine not being able to tell the difference between a legend who had his flowers for decades and went on his own terms and what happened to poor Windham!
@@timothygraham4304 you know i actually went to edit this comment before to acknowledge that i wasn’t trying to diminish the sad news about funk. i didn’t because i had enough faith in you marks to not start an argument about. thanks for reminding everyone that the wrestling community is as toxic as it’s made out to be
Today is a day I'm thankful for the "Cultaholic Podcast Curse" - the passing of Bray is hitting me, hitting us, hard, so this being recorded before the news broke gives us a bit of light-hearted fun and japery we all need right now.
You lads are fantastic, I know this was recorded before the other terrible news this week. So a more jovial (may not be the right word?) podcast is absolutely welcome. Thanks for all you do, presenters and behind the scenes peeps.
The curse strikes once again, in the worst way. I suppose its a two edged sword in that its nice that there's something for people to take their minds off of things
Unfortunately the curse strikes again and this time in an unbelievable hard way. Rest in peace Bray, you will be missed. Love and my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
@@KorhanAkarIt's not a curse, as it's about the week before, and if something happened that's newsworthy outside of what's on tv, they'll mention it, but that's not their focus.
RIP Windham Rotunda, only 36, way too soon to pass... With that out of the way, a three and a half hour podcast of the best wrestling content on UA-cam is a good way to help spread some much needed joy. Also, nothing clever here because it wouldn't be right, Jack, just take your laptop on that date already.
Im not gonna lie, im pretty broken. I thought with it coming out that the illness Bray had WAS life threatening I thought the worst was behind him. This is absolutely crushing and with none of my friends liking wrestling no one in my life understands how big of a blow this is. Hopefully the lads can ease the blow for the next few hours...
The best match of All In won’t even be a match; it’ll be a backstage segment were MJF and Adam Cole take “Hollywood” Jack the Jobber and his laptop to an Italian restaurant in London!
Man I'm devastated bray Wyatt was my reasoning to get back into wrestling I got to meet him in 2016 for SummerSlam weekend my mom was a huge fan of his father IRS when she was a teen. He has the whole world in his hands RIP Bray
I almost bought a ticket to AEW this weekend. I had the ticket ready to buy, but my card details from the previous ticket I bought on Ticketmaster wasn't on there as I never save the details (although I was strangely expecting them to be on there) and could not be asked to put the details in, so released the tickets 🤣🤣 Would've been great to go though, hope it's a good one.
Shocked that there is a (hed) PE reference. And Spineshank too?! lol I saw both bands with Static - X and Fear Factory 20 some od years ago in Hartford CT. Haven't thought of them in years. Of to get nostalgic. Thanks.
RIP Bray. Man It’s been a really crap week in wrestling, all I hope is all in is a great show. It would be a bit of light in the darkness we all need right now
So to clarify... Craven Cottage is owned by Fulham FC. The reason it would cost more is because Craven Cottage is a listed building and therefore an insurance nightmare to have a wrestling event there. Also, the location isn't logistically easy to get the fans into the stadium.
Venues of Wembley's size are cheaper than most people expect due to the (comparatively) low demand for a stadium of that scale; selling out somewhere like Craven Cottage is waaay more feasible for 99% of people than selling out Wembley, so naturally it's more competitive. I'm sure the preexisting infrastructure etc. at Wembley would save a huge amount on production too, as Ross said
i wore my fiend t shirt today the condolences where amazing, i didnt know Windham was so beloved and for Teryy Funk too, so much of what i have seen was bent by Terry
I didn't see anything wrong with what the Young Bucks said. Also they don't book themselves so they wouldn't be "putting themselves over". Not like another roster member who calls the shots on another AEW show. The promo was good. If FTR wins, it disproves the things the Young bucks said, and if FTR lose, they'll still have fuel for their fued with the Young Bucks, which given who FTR are buddies with, leaves the door open for potential matches if they decide to do so.
On Ross saying Rhea should wrestle man. Personally I'm fine with it but I do think there will be a problem as certain people will likely go after them for it because of the male on female violence that will be in the matches.
When I saw the news last night, my first thought was that this is the worst the podcast curse has ever been. I hate that we will never get to see all of the creative brilliance that Bray had in store for us. RIP, and say hi to Brodie for all of us.
This week's podcast marks the fourth? time maffew has been told that Myles Bourne is deaf. My guess it'll be around time number seven or eight before it really sets in.
1st of all RIP bray seriously one of my guys in the modern age of wrestling 2nd of all I will not accept the togepi slander from Jack he is a good boy and he does lots stfu

It's interesting to see how different wrestling fans felt just a day before the news his passing has affected everyone in the wrestling world
it’s one of those moments where it’s nice that they recorded before the news dropped. thank you guys, a break from the sad news is needed ❤
Spot on.
I mean, Terry Funk died, and they showed him respect, but you don't seem to think that's sad news, apparently.
@@timothygraham4304because he was old as fuck not 36

For anyone wonder why they didn't talk about Bray Wyatt, the podcast was on Thursday, so they hadn't known about it yet
It's also something that keeps happening to this podcast on a regular bases.

In terms of storytelling, MJF vs Cole will steal the show. In terms of sheer in-ring quality, it's an impossible tossup
I want Jack and Simon Miller standing back to back in the What happened at. Preferably while Simon does ups and downs
Time for some levity on such a heavy day
When the Green Bay Packers went to London last year, they drink all the beer in certain bars in London.
19:26 I still don't know where the name Nobu Uetsumo came from. It's Nobuo Uematsu!
RIP Bray. Did they reocrd this before the news?
Yes. I think they record on Thursday and the news would've broke around midnight there.
GET HYPED FOR WEMBLEY
Rest in Peace, Brayy.
Possibly the biggest curse of the podcast example
