This is the version we should have got for SNES honestly, there's more characters on screen with this port than both the Sega Genesis and SNES port lol. I forgot this was 2 players, awesome! I hope they put this on the NSO service or re-release it on the eShop this is awesome along with the TMNT GBA games. I wonder why we can't see Cody's life health bar though?
Cody's life bar is on the second GBA screen. I didn't have a way to show it without just showing both screens, which I believe are otherwise almost identical.
@@arronmunroe Ahh makes sense. I guess thats one thing they forgot to show on player ones screen but I suppose they figured in 2 player mode not necessarily. I see alot of people saying this is the best handheld version and best after the Sega CD port as far as home versions. Now I see why. Nice vid!
@@jermainewright1757 For certain games like FF 1 which Capcom also rushed apparently yes, but as far as limitations both snes and sg had them so most games weren't arcade perfect but playable. It was better for other games however other games like Turtles in time were better for snes. Konami knocked it out of thr ballpark with their games from arcade to home ports.
I only know of two ways to do this. One is with Parsec, which works well enough, but I'm still not a huge fan of it. The other way is with the emulator My Boy!, which actually has a netplay feature. I have only tried that one a little, and one problem is it's only for Android, so Bluestacks is needed if you're using a PC. What I would like to see is the mGBA core for Retroarch getting a multiplayer feature.
