Astley Green Colliery Lancashire mining museum May 2024

We have just had two great visits to this museum. The first on the Saturday the railway and winding engine were not in operation so we returned on the Sunday. Our railway video has already been uploaded to UA-cam.
The museum is very interesting with many mining items to view.
The twin tandem compound steam winding engine is amazing although now running on compressed air.
Something a bit different for my channel but I hope you enjoy watching my video.
