I love a good winter blizzard. I grew up in east central Saskatchewan, Canada. When I was young, -40 was not unusual. Neither were blizzards. I am now 75.
Absolutely love this the trees blowing in the wind the light on in the cosy cabin in the middle of nowhere the relaxing sound of the wind and the beauty of the snowfall. Perfect place to escape to, if only in your mind thank you god bless
I always like to envision the perfect little home. Just one small window, wood stove, wood room, thick secure walls. Nothing any enduring wind could tear down, root cellar and a snoozing dog. Everything tucked away neat and securely. No drafts to penetrate the little house. A strong solidly built home to handle the most extreme winters!!!
