Linus, please do this series like once a month or something. Set up a partnership with 3CX. This is so informative and interesting, and I feel like a ton of people will get useful learning from more of these! I know I did!
And suddenly all other support lines became barren xD
This was so fun to watch. Would love to watch more. Tech service that actually helps people, with proof. We also learn stuff too. Keep it coming.
I sort of expected a gag where some sequence of options down the Mac branch led you to be redirected to an increasingly frustrated Louis Rossmann
If they ever want to do this again. They need to add Louis really far down the Mac branch.
@@ZNotFound omg yes. A collab video to put up Right to Repair would be amazing.
Or just a recording of him saying "get a Thinkpad, support Right to Repair"
Dennis got rickrolled... And he didn't know what it was.
HOW DID YOU GET ME!!!!?
Tech Tip 8 (18:17) looks like Cliff Bleszinski
Guys I have to say, I haven't loved an LTT video this much since the first season of scrapyard wars came out. Your content is consistently great, but this might be my favorite LTT video ever. Please do more of these, maybe make this a regular feature? Not sure how resource intensive this format is for you guys but I would love to see this once a month or so. Thanks for the great content! 🙂
Update: I put my phone in the microwave....house burned down..but phone works now!!! Thanks Taran!!!
As a Linux user the best "support" you (sometimes) get is:
"Just switch back to Windows!"
This is simultaneously the most random and the most LTT thing I have ever seen
"How do you know that it likes it?" Linus hit peak Dad with that one!
One thing ive noticed is all those stupid pretty PSU extension cables people buy often give out long before the actual PSU cables do. If your system wont power on at all or does strange things like PSU clicking then remove your silly PSU extension cables when troubleshooting. Dont rely on them especially once they have been installed and bent to fit into a case.
Omg whoever Rick rolled Dennis is my hero! The perfect LMG employee to get rick rolled.
This whole vid was amazing.
So I finally learned why the pumps of 2 of my AIO coolers failed on my previous mobo. Thanks Asus!
It would be pretty cool if LTT had a dedicated team for this, along with calls they could even help out on the LTT fourms. I loved this video.
I won't mind paying for tech support from them at all.
That's a concept that could be repeated a few times and still be enjoyable to watch !
This would be a fun recurring series where each episode would devolve into memes and trolling
That was probably some of the most fun I’ve had watching an LTT video in a while. Good job guys!
11:00 I know speedfan, the issue is simply that it wasn't updated since 4th gen intel so it doesn't recognize newer stuff
It has problems with my 3rd gen intel laptop so even older stuff is hit and miss.
Luckily there's manufacturer approved stuff for Asus mobos, so I can actually mess with the fans on my desktop
@@Anankin12 true, it couldn't change the fanspeed on my 3rd gen intel acer laptop now that you mention it. but I guess that's on laptop manufacturers trying to limit your ownership of your laptop as much as they can. I mean my friend has an acer with 6th gen intel and it's legit refusing to boot from a usb drive
The parts where Linus actually helped people was cool. The other employees who took calls was just funny. 🤣
Here's a question - Running on Ryzen R7 1700x and for some reason, I can't wake from sleep via the keyboard. When I do, it briefly starts up like it will do a quick POST, then shuts back down and requires a power button press to start. I've been dealing with this for 2+ years since I'll upgrade to Ryzen 6xxx series and solve this, but wondered if ya ever saw this issue before.
As someone who worked in the cable industry for 4 years with coaxial cable the un fuck it part had me dying😂 those nasty copper cables doing copper cable things 😂😂
idk man my internet is delivered over coaxial and i don't have any of those issues
@@Fogolol it all depends on the coaxial how long it is if it’s damaged are there any kinks in it . Loose connectors on either end can mess up the signal going to a modem. If you have the wrong types of splitter it can also cause issues. Because coax can act as a giant antenna by the time I left the cable industry they had us checking 12 different signal levels at every house we went to, half of which where making sure there’s no outside interference on the line.
Just copper cables doing copper cable things 😂
At 12:28 that's a capital I and not a lowercase L between the two Js
It just says video unavailable for me. What video was it?
@@Nintendont64 ua-cam.com/video/ZjJUVsmjIj4/v-deo.html
The part with Colton in it
@@Organ1c_ Thank you!
Aaaaah, I was wondering why the video was unavailable. Thank you!
appreciated so muchhh
I would love to hear "Dad Jokes" at the end of every LMG video!!
I love Dennis so much ahahahaha
Denis: Hello this Denis who am speaking to?
LPL: this is the lock picking lawyer
Seconds later: nice click on 5
I need mor Dennnnnnnis
@@NineEyeRon need more LPL
I think it’s funny that Linus is all serious but everyone else is just joking around and being funny
This whole thing was so cool. You guys have a loyal audience base for a reason
What a fantastic way to implement a sponsored video! Really enjoyed it.
It’s actually really sweet to see how much fun Linus had helping people 🥰 So much better than most tech assistance. When I built my PC everything with it was fine but microsoft kept giving me a blue screen - Wasn’t my memory at all. After 3 different techs looked at the problem none of them had told me that Microsoft while being an 8GB program, needs 16GB of space from the usb stick to install 🙄😤
Linus really answering these calls is insane
you know he's one of the best youtubers out there
Had Linus give me tech tips around ten years ago when he was at NCIX. Very helpful.
This is actually one of the coolest videos Linus has ever done
Yo, this was so good lol. Sad I was away and missed it.
I just recalibrated my macs display and holy cow LTT video quality is unreal. The color clarity is so good
so you mean to say.... your mac didn't *JUST WORK*?????
I thought that was just me. The color correction in this video feels better than usual
How do you do that?
I love how some people called with an ACTUAL problem they were having
That Dennis Rick roll though 😂😂
I WANT MOAR!!!!!! Lol, I'm willing to bet a couple of doll hairs that you've got more of Collin, Dennis, And Taran "answering" these calls. THOSE calls would be as educational as Linus answering real questions!
The amount of people with a 3080 that are not the most tech savvy kinda blows my mind. It’s almost the hype item for pc’s and hate it
It does make sense tho
You can play any game at any resolution, and the 3090 is overkill for most
IF I had a good but not infinite budget, I'd go for the 3080 as well, because unless you want 144hz on 4k you don't really need a 3090 which is much more expensive
@@IlVostroNarratore I guarantee you most people can use a 20 series no problem on the games they play.
@@IlVostroNarratore what I’m saying tho is when you started out pc building was the gpu you got the top of the line most balling one, or did you budget your build out like a normal person?
@@hlacoille The former. Not the top of the line, but the top I could afford, and budgeted where I could.
I always picked the second to best GPU over the years, since after that you get less incremental value
@@IlVostroNarratore I understand it’s an amazing gpu but why all of a sudden people are able to throw money around like it’s nothing on a GPU? There have always been powerful great gpu’s. That’s why to me it’s a hype move to buy/own a 3 series
There must have been a lot of awful calls and such that they had to sift through for just this footage but this vid was actually really good.
That rickroll was so unexpected.
This video is so great! imagine having the chance to have Linus answer your call, super funny video!
We’ve just implemented a 3cx local server at my workplace here and I have to say, first impressions are good. While a non-tech savvy user will get lost in the UI, tech minded people will probably find navigating the web interface and features with ease.
3CX - I knew I recognized that queue music :D
On a related note though, I established 3CX in our business, set up locally in a debian VM and it works just like a charm. Absolutely top notch the solution.
The next time you do one of these things, have Sarah or Yvonne answer one of the calls with "Corporate accounts payable Nina speaking, just a moment".
(Office space)
Easily the funniest video I've seen from LTT so far, I love just learning about all the new tech, but this was hilarious and I wasn't even planning on watching the whole thing, but it was amazing to watch the whole video and just unexpectedly laugh just when you thought the "funny" was over lol
