One thing I know is these are people of integrity. They do the best they can. They have excellent courses and bring the best values to market. "Out of stock" is the corona norm. Not the Saltstrong norm.
Carol is the bomb! We can’t get to Hatteras until November but I’m stocking up on my Salt Strong weaponry. So glad to be an insider! Thanks guys for the confidence.
Got my second order from your shop today... fun stuff ! I have no complaints at all about your service- you guys have been great, even calling me personally about my first order to try to accommodate me, and getting me my things before I left for vacation. I just wanted to say you might want to consider giving UPS or FedEx a try as your carriers going forward. My second package went on a tour of the east coast and took longer than needed to get to me in MD from FL.. even going from Baltimore to DC and back to Baltimore at one point...I guess it took the scenic route ?? Not your fault at all, but something you might want to think about.
Went to the fish strong tackle shop today and placed an order but there were no slam shady 2.0. I am looking for a rod and there are no rods in the store and no penn reels either.
Salt Strong I’m looking for something specific. Tfo tactical inshore ISS7’ medium. Either in std. 1pc or the 7’3” traveler medium. Can you check your incoming and let me know what is coming and when? If so, I can wait.
Here's one we did on the abrasion capabilities of mono vs. fluoro that we talked about: www.saltstrong.com/fishing-tip/fluorocarbon-leader-abrasion-test-vs-mono/ And here's a link to see the many other line tests we've conducted: www.saltstrong.com/article_categories/fishing-lines/
I just finished four days of hard casting with a 2500 series BG with the matching BG 7ft. rod. My hand and wrist are fatigued. Can someone suggest a similar but lighter combo, maybe with a 1500-2000 series reel? Thanks, and good luck.
The Daiwa Fuego is what we recommend... much lighter, better salt resistance, better drag, and same price as the BG making it a pretty easy decision. I'd go with the 2500 because it has a faster retrieve speed too.
That isn't a tackle shop that's Wal-Mart's tackle isle. It has Ozark trail stringers on the shelf. Sorry i notice everything. Was part or my job for a long time in the army to notice everything.
@@operatorspectre7428 yeah the shelves were a dead giveaway, but the Ozark trails product confirms and proves it. Wal-Mart's tackle section is weak to begin with. At least all the ones where I live, some places they have a ton more products and some good products too.
@@hookedonbassncats Yes sir, I do have a local wal mart that has really good prices on some stuff, usually all i buy there are rooster tails for creek redeye bass and big game mono.Really cheap there. They have not been stocking any fishing gear as of recently for some reason though.
He has been slammed with inventory ordering the past 4 weeks since this is when we have to plan our inventory ordering for the next 12 months. We should have some rods back in the store within the next 2 weeks.
Check out the new tackle store at fishstrong.com/

Thanks for making time to leave the nice comment!
What a brilliant concept! I'm hoping that your business model is sustainable and for right now, that you're all safe and out of harm's way.
Thanks for checking it out!
These guys know! I've been a member about 6 months and it's changed the game!
I sure hope you all get some bottom sweeper rigs in

Sounds about right
All of that will be changing soon... we'll be sending emails out once we start getting inventory coming in.
If only you had a rod in the store... when will you have inventory?
We're hoping within the next 2 weeks.

Salt Strong: oops, actually, not the traveler series... but just the ISS 7’ medium please... I would appreciate it if you can get me one soon. Thx
@@robertelliott9686 We do plan to have them both, but we can't give a date for either of them at this time.
Salt Strong thx
Hi- any idea how the Ballistic LT compares to the Vanford?
Awesome video and well said.
Thank you kindly
I want you to try out the 7ft Daiwa Laguna paired with a Shimano Sienna with 15 lb Power Pro braided fishing line for throwing lures for inshore fish.
I haven't yet seen their Laguna rods. Will make sure to keep an eye out for them.
Is the 20% off on every order you place... or just once ? Once you join
The 20% is applied to every order.
I try all kinds of lures and then generally default back to a SPRO bucktail and gulp trailer haha.
Bucktails are a trusted lure of ours too!
Hey guys. Do you have a link for the fluro carbon test

The yellow discount stickers are the same too. And the way the shelves are laid out. Good observation.

Curious if Mark is still around, would love to hear more when rods will be available

Great idea, just make it a international webshop please 😉
