I’d love to have a class change token. I really don’t want to replay everything all over again with a new character, I put 1000 hours into the game.

@@darkoni95 Maybe for F2P/B2P-based mmo since you could play Runescape and FF14 completely without the need to change to your other characters/accs. Except for WoW cus... it's Blizzard
This is just dumb all you need to do is lvl up a new character... after you lvl up all the way you get all your champion lvls.
The beam move is pretty satisfying to use. I tried it out on the PTS and it was insane. Can't wait to see a hundred arcanists spamming it on the expansion's release. The only problem is the old classes are starting to look pretty dated compared to Arcanist and Necromancer.
Yeah I'm considering changing from dragon knight now lol but it won't take long to get a new character to 50 instead. Dungeons and double XP tokens
yeah, I can't wait for when the rest of the playerbase starts howling for similar combat mechanics to the Arcanist s crux lol

I've been playing on and off forever, and recall not being blown away by the Necromancer when it came out, but maybe I'll reinstall and give it another go this week while waiting on the new expansion(not that I've completed the previous few)
Depends on your sensibilities really. From my POV, the silly bears of the Wardens, the fat Mr. Clean throwing a temper tantrum for one of the Necromancer ults, and the no doubt over-the-top particle effects of this latest class will make me laugh. And that certainly makes them valuable in a sense 😂 But, in PvP, the DKs and Nightblades still rule, and the Sorc's negate magic remains the most formidable ultimate in the game.
ZOS please please please let us purchase a class change token! Many many players feel the same way.

no that gate is basically a wall and no skill lets you pass thru hard objects...it will be a dumb niche skill like so many others in game
The portal is pretty useless. I tried it out and it's very limited. It's probably the worst Arcanist skill unfortunately. It basically just lets you zip from one gate to the other, but the range is short and the placement is limited.
Hopefully it works like the GW2 Mesmer portals..using them to be able to skip past annoying obstacles or whole jumping puzzles lol.
Besides the color being green looks great... I just wish the skills were blue or red instead

The bright blinding rain flashes that are even brighter than the sun in daylight......are as always free of charge to damage your eyes eventually.
I really like to play with a bow and use a branch of bows, but in this game they look and feel very boring. I really hope that we will get fresh ideas and a reworking of the current weapon skills and classes.
The bow is the one that is actually not bad all I use bows a lot because the other weapons feel slow and wonky while the bow skills are really cool especially In pvp you can kill people from far or close heck even make people fall of bridges and die the water lol 🤣.

lots of people backbar bow in my experiance, its a good all rounder range option with a good aoe you can set up and return to main bar as well

My guess is that it will have a height boundary so that it cannot be placed up on the wall itself, otherwise it would be terribly broken
they changed it long ago so no skill lets you jump up on to walls in cyro

This class is definitely tempting me to come back to ESO. It looks really fun. I've been playing ESO off and on since beta. I do already play the Arcanist class in FF14 as Summoner, though; it made me laugh to see the dps tree of the ESO Arcanist summons a book for some abilities. I don't know if I can come back to playing one class per character however. It's been a couple years since I've played, so have more things been made account-wide? I'm an altaholic in MMORPGs like WoW and ESO, so it's been hard to settle on a main class/character in the past and I've lost interest. I've heard good things about the class and the expansion in general, so it has me sorely tempted to return.

Literally every class they add can also be a healer and a tank... it's standard for ESO now, and basically ruins individuality.

I just hate having to find every fast travel again! 😂 IMO Leveling up wouldn't be as obnoxious if map completion stayed active with every character. Just having the fast travel waypoints would work for me.
I know right?! Its an RPG! I already saved Tamriel and countless family too many times with my main, I don’t want to redo everything without emotions (cause I already know everything) just because years later they added new classes. They should do something lore friendly to change class if they want otherwise just put on another altar like for the resetting skills point and be over with it

Seriously, do ESO players who cry about wanting a class change token not play/have played other MMOs? Alts are a thing and doing all that stuff again is just how it goes...
they don't want to give us class change tokens because they believe that most people will buy skill lines, skyshards, etc for a new toon but I will never buy any of those, even the painful mages or psijic line. I would buy several class change tokens tho because I have toons as old as the game that I would like to refresh

I wish it could be possible to include the different abilities into an exciting game character. I've been playing with same character for an amount of years, but if I want to explore, say necromancy, I have to create a new character. And so on.
That would remove the whole point of having classes…

It's not OP at all in the PTS. It was actually pretty weak until they buffed it a bit.
@@hihihi1q23 Agreed. Even buffed, it has it's issues. One of the buffs was adding a shield to Fatecarver with the shield deflecting interrupts. It works for pure interrupts but if you get bashed, charged or stared at too hard, it breaks the beam and all of those Crux's you built are gone. Going to be fun!

You said it. I can't believe there isn't a single non-magic class in the entirety of ESO. Though the Arcanist looks kind of cool, every single other class is a caster, too (even though the Warden and Nightblade are sort of mixed).
@@WikkeSchrandt I think we have different definitions of casters. The stock classes are fine for melee other than arguably Sorcerer. I meant that Warden and Necromancer fight like a _MagSorc,_ Shalk, Cliffracer, Blastbones, etc.
@@MaestroGrey Right, but all classes arguably look like casters. You can have all the stamina morphs you want, but there's still a lot of fire, lightning and healing lights going around. There's no fighter class, for example. There's the Dragonknight and the Templar, and they're somewhat martial, but they also both have magic, like the fire/poison for the first, and the healing and Aedric spear for the latter. There's also no pure rogue, with the only real option, the Nightblade, being a stealth/magic hybrid. That's sort of what I meant: all classes are casters, while there's no pure warriors and rogues.
you can technically make a weapon only build, but yeah it wouldn't really work.
I feel like a warrior class should've been there since the release considering they advertised this game as being an Online Elder Scrolls game.
And yeah that's exactly what they did, just looking at pre-release trailers would give you an idea.

Dreading release day on xbox EU it’s going to be a lag fest..
I only play PvP and my concern is that those portals can not only act like the sorc's streak for one player, but also for multiple players in your group. How that will play out in Cyrodiil, I honestly don't know. The pity of it is I can see where it would be *great fun* for the mainstream PvE player and completely harmless in that sort of gameplay. Yet, if it's unbalancing for PvP it may need to get nerfed for both. That's been among ESO's most annoying long-standing problems, alas.
no sorc streak is instant this you have to place them down similar to how blood mist works now. The only thing I see this being a problem in pvp is when you're defending a keep door and they put the portal inside past the oils or put it next to scroll past the inner door

If only I could CHANGE CLASS!! I don’t want to redo EVERY ZONE AND EVERY QUEST just because you guys dropped another class later in the line! It’s incredible how this is not a thing already, it’s an RPG and a famous and long one at that.. I can’t redo every mission just because I want to play a different class, I already did like everything with my Templar, just let me swap!!
