GM one of the greatest guitarists of all time Argue with that if you dare Go on if you do you will look like a fool
Gary Moore was so good at the blues/rock style.
A genius 👏 🙌
You can't beat this amazing version of Red House . 🎸
Continue to R.I.P. Gary.. 🙏
I never get tired of hearing "Red House". Gary Moore is one of the greatest guitarists who ever lived.Rest in peace.
I think you meant "this" Red House!!! Jimi was watching and Gary gave the song's performance of a lifetime!!!! literally...
Th the r re
Good damn.
Gary was immense this blows me away every time I watch it
R.I.P Gary, You're Still The Best...💯🙏💔
Gary Moore : The man, The myth, The genius & The incredible Blues legend !
Wow, I am stunned.... I thought that Strat was going to burst into flames any minute. He was so underrated.
That says it all.
@@chrislambert5571 The difference being that he makes every note count.
It was white when it left the factory
Albert King once said about Gary Moore " I thought someone was going to have to pour a pitcher of water on that guitar. "
Great guitarist, R.I.P. Gary
A real Masterpiece from a master guitarist.🎶🎶🎶❤️❤️
Miss this guy.
Gary was a boss...he makes that strat talk..amazing
Музичний геній! Вічна пам'ять!
No one could ever hold a candle to Gary's passion. A towering giant of the guitar! Too bad he never caught on in the United States. I remember a time when it was hard to find one of his CDs in music stores. Who knows when we'll see the likes of him again.
How can any music fan give a damn about top 40 radio or American Idol after watching this?? THANK YOU GARY!
Best guitar face...... 🙂
Man!
Gary was a beast,
and not just him but that drummer and bass player as well, true professional musicians
😎✌
Pino Palladino on bass and Ian Thomas on drums
Miss you Gary, one of the best
Just sit down, shut your face and have your face melted! I've viewed this 1,000x and it is always white hot!! RIP Gary Moore, you were so underappreciated!
Please read and comment on my three-way split @ 6:17 - 6:20 .
I appreciate gary moore . The man knows the blues plays loud and mean. Can sing to, lots of emotion .
Even Jimi hendrix would appreciate Gary's take on red house and the blues. Gary s got his own guitar flavors going.
@@yeti1002 played much better than Jimi !
@@phunkybis I like all the different versions of voodoo child . Hendrix, SRV , GM , Kenney Wayne Shepard all do justice on the guitar. They add there own flavor to this iconic song. 🙏 Peace out 😂
Gary is the guitar god for me never used a wah wah he could bend the fuck out of the strings a true master and Jimmy would fall a his feet probably as his doing beyond them pearly gates R I P to the greatest guitar gods
Gary Moore's licks are like a fine peach cobbler. I'm hungry and I want more!
maaaaaaaan that tone!!!!!
Such passion, fire, commitment and attack as always from Gary !
Can't get over how good he was
Love that tone! ROCK IN PEACE!
Ohhh wowww !
Gary is one of the truely best, thx for this
Yea,him and Roy two of the best. They could burn that axe up anytime they wanted. It still boggles my mind people never heard of these two outstanding men.Loved to have seen either of them.
I've seen Rory Jimi Beck Clapton and Rory. I enjoyed Rory the best. Sadly never got to see Gary Moore though :-) Peace
Just like Jimi made Dylan's
"All along the watchtower" his own,
Mr.Moore made Jimi's
"Red house" his own.
Not when you sound just like Jimi, but he definitely did Jimi proud!
Prince 💜 Gary Moore and slash version of Red house 🔥
Watched this a dozen times and still in awe the goat period
My, Gary could play!! Respect.
Brilliant rendition of the great Jimi Hendrix , Gary Moore you will always be remembered cause you were brilliant as well
God bless you Gary ❤
Speechless
RIP GARY
I agree with all comments, this is one if not my all time favorites of Mr. Jimi and I have to say he lights this on fire. R.I.P. MR. MORE. ONE OF THE MANY GREATS TO PICK UP A GETFIDEL
Saw him at Donington in 1984 but this is more convincing - he seems more suited to the blues stuff than the heavy rock scene. I'm glad I've seen this - thanks.
What a good show what a tune brilliant i had to leave after seeing gary Moore do this nothing more to impress me
...esecuzione mondiale❤🙏
Holy shit.... INCREDIBLE!!!
Virtuoso performance. Really stellar bends and phrasing. Wished he had extended the wah wah section. Loved that too.
He did not perform last. People had to go on after that. I would have run out the back door.
And on the eight day. God created the Stratocaster...
Gary’s definitely one off the GOAT
Holy CRAP!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Gary Moore does Hendrix the right way !!!!
Pure Rockin Blues Folks.....You'll never hear anything like this again....Rock yourself silly
Oh my god, that´s tone....
Killer!!
Jimi impérissable, un des rares blues qu'il a osé mettre dans ces 2 premiers albums...
Très bel hommage de Gary Moore, autre grand disparu...
Good heavens, that's guitar.
Gary didn't spare anyone's feelings; he brought it hard and heavy...no butter.
The underrated badass sir Gary M
Wow!
Gary Moore the Best utwór Jimiego kapitalny ✌️👍🎸
una obra maestra. Y el mejor homenaje para Hendrix.
Gary Moore did not play last that night. Imagine going on after this. I would have run out the back door!!
Meglio dell'originale!
2021🎶😢🎶R.I.P. 🕯🌹
Excellent
Wow this band is awesome
,,,,,,,,,,,,and up there,,,,,in rock n roll heaven,,,,,,Gary and Eddie are at this bar,,,,and Eddie asks gary,,,,,,,,,show me how that goes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.................................................................................!.....😯
👌
Art
Can't say as I love his voice much, there are many better than him, but his guitar is on fire.
wow!
душевно играет
Pino on bass!!
Did you see at 7'38 the silent cue Gary gave to Pino that he was finished with the solo?
WINS the non-Hendrix version contest and I know about the others.
cool
❤❤❤❤❤❤
That time Gary Moore told Jimi Hendrix, "Hold my beer."
Gary Moore, the best guitarist ever. You can't own any instrument better than Gary, he takes Hendrix down on this one. Gary and Michael Schenker, two greatest guitarists ever, such tone and feel. RIP Gary, you were the King, and your playing will never be forgotten. Thanks for all the great music.

Check the link out, that's the best version I have heard.
I think Gary is a bit too loud. And there must have been a reason Hendrix played the song on a Gibson and not a strat.
Asbestos gloves for Mr Moore please.
Yo where TF can I find this recording. Probs the 100th time I have viewed this over the 10 years I have known about it, I would like a copy now. Thanks
Blues For Jimi Live In London, That's the album
That strat needed a cigarette after that.
BEAST!
Truly random observation, but I think that this tall skinny bass player is also the bass player in the live John Mayer crossroads ain’t no sunshine video…😂
on guitar Gary Hendrix
fun guy that Joe
Interesting how the guitar strings don’t snap
What camera / lighting technique is used @ 6:17 - 6:20 ? The artist appears to split three ways.
It’s only s reflection on the side panel at drummer’s left
3:14 That's a coincidence, that is the face I make every time I listen to Gary Moore play live on UA-cam.
Pretty good for a predender.
When & Where was this shot? Anyone know?
Gary cuts glass... Nothing sharper!
The best ever version of red house
Jimi would have tapping along to this
For all you Hendrix freaks
Hendrix's girlfriend lived in a brown house but Jimi thought it just wouldn't fit in the lyrics
Check out his biography
i was there that night... epic set
Very inspiring to me. I have been playing the guitar for almost 35 years and this song makes me want to learn what I do not know.
Catina Holmes
Carina you never stop learning
There is always some better someone worse
You just have to keep going
But when you reach the next level after you have run a river of frustrated tears you just feel ecstatic
@@rupertvivian-davis920 How would like to be the guy on after Gary.
@@edmiley729 haha it would be quite intimidating to say the least..... i think it was dave gilmour... he also blew me away, but in a completely different way!
Better then Hendrix!!
Fast man mabe too fast miss ya
I definitely don't think you can do that with just any Strat.
he plays it better than hendrix himself
Agree 100%
Yeah he jams sick ! Fatness
Если вы не можете понять на сколько хорош Гэри мур значит вы ничего не понимаете вэтом жанре если вообще понимаете вмузыке!
That man should have stayed away from women and he'd still be alive playing putting his passion into his music.
sounds way too hot, needs to drop the distortion down
Makes no difference the tune, gary was head and shoulders above the last one that tried!
Gary's playing is great but the band is waaaaay to timide. Strange combination...
I've heard better.
LOL! Please link us up?
