This song was my jam in middle school, now outta high school by a year and still loving your work. One of my biggest inspirations for learning tracker arrangement. :>
Some Amiga tunes really sound like they have a dozen instruments or so, but the Amiga throughout it's life carried a sound chip only capable of 4 channels. I love how creative musicians can be
When you released Coffee Zone I listened to it at work every day for weeks! Love hearing this track again. The mix is so deep while getting across the feeling of impulsiveness implied by the title. It's just amazing. I can't believe it's just a module.
@@jeffreyfuerst1065 - ''This channel is exactly one quarter of a decibel too high and if I don't fix that right at this moment the world is going to explode and I will die''.
If I recall correctly, you wrote in the Soundcloud description on this that it was impossible to be played on real hardware. I always thought that was kind of a beautiful analogy for the feeling of a hopeless romantic, of unrequited feelings - you can simulate it on your own but sometimes it's just not possible in reality. Great song
I've been watching your videos for like five days and you've already gotten me hooked on Famitracker so I have to ask: how the hell are you making that percussion sound so punchy at 1:14 without the DMC sampler? Are you just combining a fast downward pitch sweep on the triangle with the noise channel? If so, it sounds incredible but I can't seem to parameterize it correctly
a Famicom (or expansion audio-modded NES) is required, but this track doesn't even work on the Famicom Everdrive N8 Pro NSF player because of it requiring the N163 to be overclocked to 224Hz.
is there a non-overclocked N163 version of this? because this "N163 overclocked to 224Hz" version doesn't work on the Famicom Everdrive N8 Pro's NSF player - all your VRC6/VRC7 stuff plays fine on it.
nsf - Notes Storage Format it basically means that its possible to play on a NES if you have the .nsf file, i think you can download it if you buy the album on bandcamp

I still don't know how you do it. It's just amazing every time.
The last 4 songs of The Coffee Zone are by far the best.
Not to say the other ones aren't good, but the final stretch is phenomenal.
wow, 11 channels? I thought this would have way more, such a rich and full sound. Really nice song :)

I'm always in awe at how fitting your song titles fit their accompanying music. Bravo sir!
I can only imagine how much patience it took this.
Maybe a few "God damn it" and "Shit that didn't work"
But in the end, it was worth it!

Thanks for an official UA-cam upload. I love this song to death.

Why is tracker music so damn soulful? So many emotions playing in this song that I can't keep count, and it all feels *wonderful!*

sounds like snails house just even more chiptune
Honestly was just thinking it was Hyper Potions before tabbing over
I literally was just thinking this!
What if they all did a colab?
Wait, no, it might not have enough genre diversity
I was also thinking about this, lol
I remember hearing this one somewhere before! Really pro stuff as always, dude!
I know that this song uses an expansion chip, but, it feels very different compared with other NES productions, very nice.

I love this tune! It reminds me of "I Cry" by Flo-Rida ^^
This also reminds me of that, the flo-rida song part is a sample of Bingo Players - Cry (Just A Little) .

It's clocked at 224hz, the tri kick is a lot more like an actual kick due to the faster pitch slide vs. 60hz.
