    I'm in school to become an elementary teacher, 3rd grade has always been on my mind. Next week my class will be going to the elementary school to read a book for the class and I'm so excited. My prof is kinda pushy and tough but your videos just keep me going towards my passion, so thank you! I'm glad I found your channel!

    My 15 year old was never taught that method. Now struggles with problem solving! Thank you for the tip. I'm gonna have her try it😊. We need more teachers like you!!💖💖

    I’m an 8th grade ELA teacher and love your videos. We are about to start talking about sensory language, so that’s so ironic! I love your idea about sound detail!! That is totally something I can incorporate into my class!!

    When do you find time to create such pretty anchor charts? Do you do them while the kiddos are watching? I love how you outline the black with color.

    My students do not know how to summarize either. We are definitely working on that. I also need to work on narratives with my kids.

    How do you think of these lesson ideas? I’m third grade first year and I’m just going with the curriculum but I feel like it doesn’t go deep enough

    • @theglamteacher7386
      @theglamteacher7386 6 років тому

      Have you looked on teacher pay teachers? That's what helps me get ideas for each standard. My district uses wonders and it's totally not deep enough to achieve standard mastery. Also if you type in individual standards on pinterest it gives some good ideas :)

    • @breannathompson643
      @breannathompson643 6 років тому

      I purchased a rooted in reading pack and my district mentor was mad I used it. My district doesn’t like us using TpT which is really annoying.

    • @theglamteacher7386
      @theglamteacher7386 6 років тому

      Breanna Thompson oh ok got ya. My district is the same way, but as long as we can justify the rigor, we can use it. Sorry they got upset :/ one thing you’ll notice about this field is that sometimes you’re told to do things one way and you do it, then they get upset when the scores are not high enough and then ask you to be “creative” lol. Anyways, good luck girl! Do what you feel is best for your kiddos!

    Mrs. Shelley ,
    I would enjoy seeing you do a morning meeting . I am willing to bet that it is one of a kind .
    2 questions . 1 . What if the kid(s) who are assigned a separated seating from their friend(s) with the intent to be less chatty winds up making the chattiness worse by trying to call out to their friend(s) anyway ? 2 . What if the kid(s) winds up assigned to sit next to someone that they might not get along with and it might lead to a little misunderstanding ( fighting ) ? Whatever you do make sure it avoids the big problems and let the little problems solve themselves overtime .
    Keep up the awesome classroom videos and by the way , you looked good in your outfit in this video .
    - Dwight

      djthereplay they do not shout across he circle because it simply is not allowed. If they do, they leave the morning meeting circle and sit at the back table. Same if they fight or argue. They love morning meeting and don’t want to sit out

      Good call Mrs. Shelley .
      You have those boundaries in place to where it would stop anything that arises from the start
      and it is good that you have students who want to play under the rules to stay in the game if you will
      because they care when and where there are consequences and to be specific natural consequences that fit the behavior .
      Keep it up beautiful .

    muscle aches, tenderness, and stiffness
    pain, stiffness, or swelling in your joints
    thinning hair or fine, brittle hair

      Samantha Quintana sometimes people may think that. I have my degree on psychology. Taken lots of mental health and health study course and in medical school now. Although she may be fine, I’m just worried, I see little things that can be a sign of either that or some people just need a little push to talk to someone. It could also be that’s she bottling to much and needs to talk to someone. It could be a hormonal imbalance, or who may know could be depression. It’s incredible hard to tell, but it’s always good to make sure

    • @selenalopez7925

      That’s a lot of what if’s, I just thought if she could read it maybe it could help her. We never know how people are feeling. I hid my depression for years and no one knew I attempted to kill myself till this day no one knows. I’m just giving you an example of my experiences. That they can be hidden in plane site.
