Death is a great career move. Love her voice but all she did was pastiche's of greater artist's. There is nothing she innovated. A Brilliant blue-eyed soul singer but not on the same stage as someone like say, mary J. blige.

Mary J Blige is a completely different genre, so your comment is as irrelevant as me saying that Dr.Pepper is better than Pepsi. Innovation is not a pre-requisite to be "great" - she wrote her own songs, both lyrics and music, and had an amazing voice. That's a lot more than most modern "stars". Also, Back to Black broke sales records in 2007-2008, and became one of the top 10 biggest selling albums in the UK, which was 3-4 years BEFORE she died, so your "career move" comment is grossly misjudged and ill-informed, and also disrespectful.

What a stupid biased comment. Amy was the artist I listened to the most when I was 14, way before she passed!! She was unique, raw, and unbelievably talented. She was modern yet like nothing you’d ever hear in the music industry at the time (and still up to this day). The fact we still haven’t got anyone as genius as her in today’s world only goes to show how rare she truly was.
