My 2021 Sketchbooks

- This is the first time I am documenting a complete flip through of all my 2021 sketchbooks. Most appropriate to do this on the last day of 2021 too. All my playing, experimenting and memories encapsulated in 8 sketchbooks.
I have not seen some of the sketchbook since the beginning of the year. So it is nice to see so many nice moments and stories.
I like using different size sketchbooks to break away from monotony and routine. I believe the size of your sketchbook should not limit your creativity. Even though the sizes are different, my sketchbooks are all made with hot press watercolour paper. I like the feeling of gliding across the page with my drawing tools.

Thanks for sharing these! It's interesting to see your daily process. 2 questions: What are you doing when you just draw arrangements of geometric shapes with no paint, as at 11:41? Also, what is a "toast box"? (Your voice is very faint on this video, although the music sounds normal.)
I think I was using simple shapes to explore composition and find how to compose my page. Yes working on getting a podcast mic this year. 😂
