- Bill Perkins played one of the most legendary poker hands in history on Poker At The Lodge. In a hand with Handz, he went all-in, but he was late for his flight. So he left the table and watched the results of the hand from his phone at the airport.

Bill knew he would've lost half of everything to his wife if he didn't catch that flight.
😂😂😂😂😂
Yea when he said his wife we all understood 🤣. You dont piss off the cook
😂😂
@@nachobusiness2050nobody is cooking in that family lol
It's his plane, there's no "flight to catch", his pilot waits for him
Absolutely a top ten moment, not just because it was such a boss move, but because the bluff got through on TOP of that. Legend.
Only because his opponent is terrible.
@@niercyrian8573 and you would call 250 K with just a pair of tens?
@@rishabrege3479 In this scenario? Yes 💯 of the time.
@@niercyrian8573 I would probably crumble based on the stakes and the game. Plenty of overpairs, the obvious straight and the unlikely trips, even full houses at play where the opponent may have flopped a set. I’ve had these situations happen to me in lower stakes when I just refused to fold. I learnt to fold more in these situations giving my opponent more respect but perhaps I’m not at that level of poker thinking yet.
@Rishab Rege Maybe you're playing at a higher level than your opponents. In lower stakes, the best strategy is A.B.C poker. Each hand is irrelevant from all other hands because you can't expect your opponent to take into account all the other variables. I've witnessed all ins with a duce 3 flush when the opponent can have and does have all the other flushes. Most players in lower stakes are just clicking buttons.
If you're able to leave $500k on a poker table to a friend while you catch a private jet, you've made some correct decisions in life.
Bruh that’s bill Perkins. He is around any big cash game all the time lol
Known for some crazy shit like this
dude that’s a streamed game😢dare he does that in a private game?
@@droppershit6125 he is a billionaire, what the hell are you on about private game !
Perkins is a straight up great dude. Pretty sure he built himself
Take a moment to appreciate how rich you have to be to do this. Bill didn’t care about losing the pot or not, the entertainment was priceless.
@@ozzy541 it's not even close to that low
@@ozzy541 nah it’s pretty standard 😂
I'd be more afraid of pissing off the wife too!
@@ozzy541 You are joking, right?...
Yea just looks like a gambling addiction to me. 😂
Tuned in just in time to see this hand live. One of the sickest plays I think I’ve ever seen Bill make
It also helps when you have stupid piles of cash to bluff with
This was one of the all-time greatest poker streaming moments. Doug was right. So incredibly intense
"Hard to get a read on that guy" 😂😂😂
I want to know how many poker players that have ever existed in history shoved all in, for over 150K+ pot, with nothing but air, and then leaves for a flight BEFORE HIS OPPONENT MAKES A DECISION..... AND WINS! Only 1 Bill Perkins. This is LEGENDARY.
dude you're the only person I've ever met on here with the exact same picture
@@elastronaute1198 they say great minds think alike! Have a great day
This realm is all new to me so bill went all in 500k to win 150k ? Why couldn’t he just do like half ? Or 150k is it because he knew they wouldn’t go all in as well what if someone went 600k but had stronger hand?
@@horizonfan He couldn't raise any less than all his chips because Handz could have raised him and automatically won the hand because Bill was no longer there to respond. When you are not there to respond to the action in a timely manner, your hand is dead. By going all-in, your hand cannot die because there is no further action you can take.
Maybe he knew his opponent was going to take a half hour to make a decision.
Perkins is an ABSOLUTE MAD MAN! This was so legendary it is insane!
He had an entire room of really good players baffled.
"its hard to get a read on that guy huh?" LMFAO
To be fair, he did everything he could to tell the story he has a six. Sick play :)
which is exactly what he shouldn't do it he had a six...
This should be a movie scene
Dude you read my head yeah
@Bogdan Savchenko Who reads a head? Do you mean mind?
@@dustinplatt6882 I’m sorry for my English, im high right now. But you right, it’s mind. Ha! Have a good times dude 🤝
It's just for the TV show. It cannot be real.
If it happened in a movie, I'd say it was too unrealistic
It's so entertaining to see Handz's reaction on the river at 1:40. His smile just faded away in slo-mo as he was trying to figure out his next play
One of the best clips of poker I saw after a long time.. thanks to bills for making this game more beautiful and pleasant to watch ❤️
To all those saying Bill was out of order leaving and the table talk whilst Handz was making his decision was OTT. While technically you're probably right you gota remember that these are loud, splashy, chaotic games and shinanigans are to be expected and if you sit down at these tables you know what to expect. Which is what makes them great fun to watch. I don't think anyone at the table had any issues with what happened, even Handz.
Garrett would say he’s out of line and request a refund
Don’t think anyone should complain when you’re getting invited to these sort of games lol
And this is not really that much money to them. Really easier call when looking at the circumstances.
Worst run cardroom
I’ve ever seen
@@JujuBuckets33 it’s pretty well ran from my experience. The streams are nothing like the cash games
The fact that the guy left the table then joined the stream, and was commenting on it too! Lol
This one of the best poker moments I've seen on UA-cam. Bill Perkins, what a legend.
perkins is entertained AF. the fact that it was a bluff made it so much better
This hand is legendary! We're going to be talking about this for years
One of, if not THE sickest moments in streamed poker.
You need to watch more poker.
@rumrun11 what kind of response is that?? What is a sicker move/bluff then this?? I will wait....
@@rumrun11 Feel free to link a more badass bluff than this, i’ll wait.
@rumrun11 have u ever seen a guy go all in and leave the fckn building before?! What could top that?!
@@Quay073 😂🤣😂
We need more players doing things like this. It brings so much character to poker, excitement, entertainment..its obly positives
"i got a plane to catch" knowing he was just standing out in the parking lot watching the stream lol.....
This is hilarious. Poker needs more of this.
Sick billionaire moves?
Bill walks back in and says, "I forgot my sunglasses"
Genius play by Perkins! He knew Handz would not risk calling and losing against an ABSENT player, that would turn into a meme for the ages. Truly genius!
this infers that u actualy belev for one second that the ladder is worse than being bluffed off of a fucking over pair by an absent bill perkins... wow im not sure what si worse but im most certain that it feelsbadman
lol exactly
How is that more embarrassing than folding and losing to a bluff from a guy that isn’t there?
@@bash547 are you dense? Its wayyy more embarassing to be the first in poker history to actually lose on an all in against an empty chair and be cleaned out of your ENTIRE stack, than to fold and lose to a bluff which is mild in comparison. Both are bad but going broke in this situation is more embarassing of the two.
He was simply implying that Handz would not risk that chance and be a meme for eternity in case he did lose.
@@Arthur_StJohn He’d won if he called so it was a mistake to be TRICKED by a bluff. He made the wrong decision. You must think it was less embarrassing to fold to Miss Finland too.
I think the lodge owes Bill $10 million for the most epic long lasting advertising
All the other players talking about it should shut up…they are influencing his action
cry more
I agree I thought that was so out of line
Amazing play! I was smiling all the way. Nice one!
I dont watch a lot of these but everytime I do handz is always laying down the best hand
This is not poker. It's just rich guys playing around for ego.
I'm glad the Lodge posted this clip, so epic
Perkins should've called clock from the chat! 🤣😂🤣😂
Bill is the man!!! Love that guy.
God, that side bet last hole card action finale was epic.
Officially the best live streaming room now. Loving these Lodge sessions
“My wife is going to be mad I have to go!” 😂 Doesn’t even work on 1/3 lol
3:56 "hard to get a read on that guy huh?" 😂😂😂
this is most ever so certainly one of the best streames hands in history of nlh poker....bill perkins just cemented his legacy as a poker fucking BOSS!!!
So glad I saw this live
Was one of the sickest ever!
Me too! The craziest hand I've seen in forty years in poker!
no one cares taht you saw this live... it means so little to so many you really think people came here to find out all about you?
8:02 "And Phil Perkins" ??? 🤣😲🤦♂👍😎✌🗽
And this is how Bill Perkins got in the poker HOF! Rules will be made for this move!
Watch this live on my night shift. Was absolutely wild. Legendary move
imagine if he just walked back in going "did I win"?
If you think about it, it's a genius move. He leaves and puts all the pressure on Handz. He needs to make a big decision while everyone around him is talking about this unusual event. Handz is probably thinking " Am I actually going to lose all my money to a guy that is not even present at the table".
My guy Perkins is such a beast. I guess having tons of money doesn't hurt either. 😅😂
That was legendary. Will go down in poker lore forever
Bill will definitely do this again. The question is, Will he have it next time or not?
One of the GOAT moments in poker.
The reaction by everyone so great! 😂😂😂
Bill have done a lot for poker. Appreciate that guy
thats going down in history as one the funniest bluffs of all time if nothing else great content DOUG !!
Total baller move, and clearly meant to convince his opponent that he had a very strong hand. It worked.
3:32 nice to hear that Rex from Toy Story has a commentating job sorted
Bill is a legend 😂😂😂
So glad I started watching the stream a few hands before this happened
8:03 "And Phil Perkins"
I know we can see the hol cards, but really try to imagine getting stacked by a person that leaves the building. Let's say he has the 6 by chance or pocket 3s. Jams and opponent calls to see all their chips being moved to a lockbox. GOAT level gross
"Bill is watching in chat right now...!"
He knew exactly what he did. Most creative bluff I've ever seen.
''Endless trunks of money, TRUNKS of money'' who knows what it is hahaha
😂😂😂😂 always entertaining funny guy.! Nice hand.! 😂👍
ABSOLUTE LEGEND STATUS...ALL HAIL KING BILL
Legit legend hand, like the Jack Strauss 7-2 show one card, Stu Ungar 10 high call etc, this one makes the hall of fame for legendary hands
We need the Bill Perkins follow up interview
Bill Perk is just a legend
So sick lol, FROM THE AUSTIN AIRPORT! Had me crackin up
The ultimate bluff strategy! The opponent can't even try to get reads from you!😂
What a move 😂
Bill is the best
This has to be the weirdest flex ever 😂😂😂 sick level btw
He's looking half arsed about losing and doubling villain up, but he could easily just have a monster.
I'm surprised his hand wasn't ruled dead... get Matt Savage on this 🤣
This is probably the most gangsta thing ive seen in poker
Those 6s crawled in his mind he started seeing trips
O man this game is crazy. Ty
Top tier moment in all streams I’ve seen period
thats just the best poker scene of the year 😂
Like me leaving ten bucks on the table and hurrying to a dentist appointment.
The fade-away bluff........ "Kobe"
Bill Perkins, ladies and gentlemen, is a fucking boss
the private jet ain't gonna leave without the guy
His wife will kill him
She ain't gonna leave without him either.
Doug’s reaction got me dying 💀💀💀💀
PMSL. One of the funniest things I’ve seen at the table. Poor Handz, must be gutted. Wonder how many at the table would have made the call ? His play was just screaming I have a 6.
What a play, wow! 😀👍👍👍
That is probably the most savage bluff I have ever witnessed, right behind it would be dnegs bluff vs pocket king’s early in his career
🤣🤣🤣 Bill is a genius.
Bill missed an opportunity to call time in the chat! xD
Bill just took Phil Laak's strategy to the extreme.
So glad I saw this
And that’s why his book is called “Die With Nothing”
All the extra talking from players probably distracted Hans from perhaps calling
Yes. They should had respected his time and stfu
@@elleonverduzco7653 Not really. If you’re playing poker at these stakes you shouldn’t let table talk affect your decision. None of what was being said could influence the action either.
that's a new one lmaooo
Patrick Antonius in a recent interview said that the poker streams must focus on poker
Thats the exact example of what he mean
Hard to get a read on that guy! Comment of the game!
The fact real life came first. And he had to leave, love betting on the what card at end was hilarious to see
I expect to see a rash of other players pulling the “Bill Perkins” all-in then out the door.
That seems like an advantage play... the guy doesn't get to feel him out or try to "read" him.
First off, this is a hilarious move by perkins and I love it. I know the lodge is a private club with it's own rules. But in general, is a player allowed to leave the table while in a hand? If so, y don't people do it more often so others can't get read off of them?
While this was entertaining, if you leave the vicinity of the table, your hand should be dead. Live poker is a social game. Bill had the opportunity to read his opponent during his bet, his opponent didn’t have that same opportunity. Every player should have the right to read his opponent after his opponents river shove.
Of course not lol. The dealer would consider his hand folded. So this is truly a once in a lifetime moment
I would never allow him to manage my investments but gotta say that was a complete baller move.
I would've called the clock on him just for fun lol
I saw this strat on another youtube video. Guy went all in on a bluff and then left to catch a plane.
He needed to get that far away to make his opponent fold his pocket pair.
happy wife happy life im sure bill is happy the bluff paid the fuel bill 😂
