Well you are sort of right, but I know for a fact that Volvo still uses older interiors for their newer buses. But a lot of other manufacturers already use pretty “modern” interiors
Cities and city bus operators will pick the best priced offer that meets their high volume demand in a very competitive market. Now I'm not a bus driver but as a truck driver I know people who have chosen employers based on what type of truck they have in their fleet. Many truckers are brand-oriented, however my example is mostly leaning toward long-haul transports which may be more akin to coach buses. There might be a smaller difference between city bus operators and large fleet short haul transporters though.
Are the batteries placed on the roof of the bus? And still good balance and road holding with the weight centre so far up high?
Yes, the batteries are on the roof. Does not impact the stability :)
great video as always guys
Thanks a lot!
Interesting comparison, but in particular regarding the truck it will depend very much on the load carried and of course the Inferstruckure available.
That's very true!
When do you test drive iveco streetway electric?
Whenever Iveco invite us to do it
Buses always have older look inside comparison to the trucks😂

@@kevin_van_den_berg I am okay with that it's classic .Their ride quality and buses are great which matters
Unfortunately, so true!
This is a City Bus for Västtrafik, ofc the interior is looking old. You should see the Coach buses 🙂
