Corey Taylor is well known for being one of the best vocalists he can sing it all haha, definitely need to go check out his live acoustic performance of Snuff! He wrote it during a low part of his life and the emotion he sings with is amazing!
@John Smith so what?😒😒
And neck, don't forget best neck
For me my go to Slipknot song is Eyeless. It’s their best song imo, and the favorite of many others
The whole self titled album is top tier.
For me it has to be (sic)
I used to really love (sic), then it changed to Eyeless then Spit it out. After repeatedly listening to Selftitled over and over, I kept just liking different songs. Diluted has by far been my favorite the longest. No Life and Me Inside are absolute gems too, as is Prosthetics. The only song I find boring on Selftitled is Wait and Bleed. :S
Yeah cause Joey goes off on drums. Rip
Slipknot- before I forget
if you want heavier stuff you should definitely react to the first 2 albums. i would recommend eyeless, wait and bleed, spit it out, disasterpiece, people=shit, everything ends and so many others. they are so fucking talented not only with their music but also the lyrics and content of their songs. i can always relate so much to them
This cold black is heavy asf
I've been waiting for this video finally, Slipknot is my favorite band ever.
Much Maggot love fam!
Yeess, Slipknot! I'll leave here my list of suggestions
-Snuff by Slipknot
-Solway Firth by Slipknot
-Pisces by Jinjer
-God The Animal by In Gloom
Another great band to check out is System of a Down, I love this band. The songs you should check out by them are Chop Suey, toxicity or ariels
A legendary song nuff said
(S)nuff said
About screaming: A lot of people say that it takes no talent, practice and that it's easy to do but they never try it themself to see that they can do it or not. It's really hard to get good at it and it needs years of practice. And without the correct way to do it, you can destroy your vocalcords (screaming does NOT comes from the vocalcords! It comes from the skin of the throat). I've been practicing for about 7 years and It took me 2 years to find the correct way to scream and now I consider myself average good. I still need a lot more practice. Some people have more luck with their body and can get better a lot faster but it still take years to get good at it
Exhibit A: Skrillex.
People know him best as an electronic musician because that's what helped him gain attention. However, what a lot of people don't know is that he was the lead singer for a rock band beforehand. He had to leave due to constantly blowing out his voice from screaming incorrectly (though he has since returned to the band).
This is amazing. Please do Snuff by them. You wont be disappointed!
There are quite a few members in Slipknot, 9 to be exact. Here is a rundown of the members, a little bit of information about the masks, and replacement members over the 20+ years they have been performing.
#0 - Sid Wilson (turntables) has many different masks over the years. Started out with altered gas masks. He's already revealed 4 new mask for the new album.
#1 - Joey Jordison (drums) Japanese Kabuki/Noh mask.
#2 - Paul Gray (bass) pig mask on first album. Had to change because another band had a pig mask. His other masks still have a hint of pig to them though.
#3 - Chris Fehn (percussion / backing vocals) long nose mask.
#4 - Jim Root (guitar) jester mask.
#5 - Craig Jones (sampling / media) spike mask.
#6 - Shawn 'Clown' Crahan (percussion / backing vocals) clown mask.
#7 - Mick Thomson (guitar) Friday the 13th Jason type hockey mask with alterations.
#8 - Corey Taylor (vocals) dreadlock mask. Corey changes masks every album.
They all change their masks each album cycle. Some members only make slight changes, others make large noticeable changes.
Only original members have numbers.
The bass player Paul Gray passed away some years back. Joey and Chris both parted for separate issues in different years, you can look up the reasons why (long story), Joey then passed away last year due to health reasons after being away from the band for several years.
Replacements members
Alessandro Venturella (bass) His mask is a tribute to Paul Gray with some hints of a pig. He replaced Paul Gray.
Michael Pfaff (percussion / backing vocals) his mask is a mold of his own face turned inside out with a zipper over his mouth. His new mask for the new album is modified with longer eye slits. He replaced Chris Fehn.
Jay Weinberg (drums) his mask is a similar style of Joey's but not a Japanese mask. He replaced Joey Joey Jordison.
Jay Weinberg is the son of Max Weinberg who is a drummer known for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band and as the bandleader for Conan O'Brien on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Harsh vocals like fry screaming or false cord takes tremendous amounts of talent and dedication
You gotta do people = shit most people would recommend you the live version , and that would be cool cuz I'm guessing you haven't seen a video of them playing live but it would be so cool if you react to the joy Jordison cam ( live) he was their drummer passed away last year you'll be impressed with how talented he was !
Slipknot's live performances are a completely different experience.
Bahaha can't believe u haven't listened to this yet!!
New subscriber here I've been listening to Slipknot for about 20 years now and love when I see someone who is just getting into them. You definitely started off with one of their less heavy songs at least in terms of what they had released prior (this came out on their 4th album All Hope is Gone back in 08.) Depending on how intense you want to go with the next one I have a few recommendations.
These are my personal opinion and I have a feeling that there are going to be some of my fellow Maggots (Slipknot fans) who are going to say that I should have more songs off the Iowa album under heaviest but it is what it is.
(I'm trying to keep the list somewhat "short" here)
Heaviest
"Get This"
"Gently"
"Scissors"
"Eeyore"
"Disasterpiece"
Heavy
"People = Sh*t"
"Heretic Anthem"
"Surfacing"
"(Sic)"
"The Dying Song (Time to Sing)" (This is a new track that dropped recently most likely will get the most views.)
"Entry Level" (As I like to call them)
"Duality"
"Before I forget"
"The blister Exists"
"Wait and Bleed"
"Pulse of the Maggots"
For an example of Corey's clean (no screaming) vocals check out "Snuff (Acoustic)"
Amazing as always!
I love listening to slipknot music
Just what I needed ...slipknot 🤘🔥
Love the content, don’t expect anyone to request this, and it’ll keep the flow of New sound coming in with that Shock and thrill factor still there. Extremely fun tune is Common rule- real world 2022 that’ll knock yo sox off
Corey Taylor is also the lead singer of Stone Sour.
Their live performance is where Slipknot really shines. Check out Disasterpiece Live in London 2002
Actually a great slipknot song to start with. Great band, lots of energy come off these guys.
This is one of my favs from them. It is what I would call a good balance of Corey’s singing ability. If you’re up for a suggestion, I’d love to see/hear your take on a band called Dayseeker. Their songs “Sleeptalk, Crooked soul, or Neon Grave” are ones I’d recommend for a first time reaction.
Great video😘😎
Awesome band
Disasterpiece is a Slipknot must. It’s so heavy, disgusting and dark. Corey has said it’s his favorite song to play live.
Bullshit.
In an interview he said his favorite song is by far scissors, since the second half of this song was always improvised, and he said that he had a hard time enjoying their own concerts, when they stopped playing it.
But yeah, Disasterpiece is so fucking good, it’s my favorite song along with eyeless.
He was actually quoted saying it was Scissors.
@@VatIva this
@@VatIva I read an interview years ago where he said it was Disasterpiece.
The greatest band that ever existed ♥️ lots a love from the middle east
ЖЕНЯ 💔❤️ ЛЮДА 🇧🇾
"This is an older song" Damn I remember listening to it on MTV all the time in middle school.
You should check Mudvayne 'dig' it's a pretty good song!
Oh, about the talent for that kind of vocal - of course you need it. The whole point is that it's not "screaming" in the usual sense, when you do this kind of vocal you just keep singing, but you squeeze a small part of your throat just above the vocal cords, also known as "false vocal cords", and when the main voice goes through them, then this dirty sound similar to screaming, yelling, roaring animals, etc. appears, it all depends on technique. A lot of people think you just have to scream, but that only kills your vocal cords pretty fast and it is hardly possible to get such a variety of timbres and types of this scream on a simple scream. It is actually singing, just with a slightly different technique. It is also used in other genres, blues, rock 'n' roll and many others, only there false vocal cords are not compressed so much, but only a little
Non-metal head: "Screaming takes no talent"
Metal head: "Okay lets hear you try"
Non-metal head: "uhhhhhh" *Proceeds to attempt and destroy their vocal cords from having no clue what they are doing*
“Sulfur” is a very good one. It’s from the same album and has a music video.
hey budd! you should react to "jinjer -pisces" and "falling in reverse - the drug in me is you (reimagined)" as well, those couple songs have lot of popular reactions and views on youtube, we would like to see ur reaction too xd. Greets
bro i was thinking the same ahha
If you want to experience more Slipknot....I highly suggest you check out Spit It Out - live at Download 2009 to see a master class in crowd control...
btw something we can all agree on Whitechapel - A Bloodsoaked Symphony
I listen this song like sycho👹👺🤘🤘🤟
Yes this is a fun song
You should check out the lead singer song called snuff live his name is Corey Taylor.
Check "Wait and Bleed"
Double dare, triple dog dare you to do an Opeth reaction. The perfect reaction would be listening to the first two tracks from the 'Watershed' album back to back with no break between. Track 1 is called 'Coil' and track 2 is called 'Heir Apparent'. If the idea of reacting to two songs in one go is unappealing, try 'Deliverance' by them. That's kinda the go to Opeth song and the lyrics are a bit of a shock. They have a way with words.
Opeth is GOATed, love me some slipknot but opeth just on a different. Mikael is one of the best metal musicians ever, very small list of people who can match his songwriting ability
Slipknot - Snuff (live)
Please listen to Eyeless or Disasterpiece from Slipknot! My personal favorites and I think you would like them too. Especially Eyeless
You should check out their new song yen! It's a slower one

Two of the things I like about Slipknot is that one guy just hits a beer keg with a baseball bat (Clown I believe, dont quote me) and they have like 9 members.

You can listen to some ice nine kills songs or dark divine, dark divine is one of the Best New metal bands
the lyrics of this song work with pretty much every other song. like anime songs, lazy town or fruit salad
Ahora sigo con jinjer pisces live session
You should check out stone sour Corey Taylor is also the lead vocalist of that band but it’s a totally different music style. I’d recommend either song 3 or tired but that’s just because those are my favorite stone sour songs but pretty much all of their stuff is good

Okay so I don't know how much you know about Slipknot but they're actually from Iowa which is where I'm from and you'll notice as you listen to newer and newer songs by them the Masks change by the way check out Duality by them oh and a little not so good fact about The Duality music video two people died during the filming of it
did mrs reactor, ma´am try snuff by corey taylor?
Metal vocals are so difficult and require a lot of talent similar to opera vocals if you do it wrong you can permanently mess up your voice metal vocals are done in a way that allows you to sustain the scream without messing with your voice and it isn't easy
hi:) make a reaction to Jinjer - Pieces, you won't regret it;)
watch cory taylor accoustic the song snuff
you need to react to Bound in fear The rot within plzzzzzz
I think you have to react to band named Atoll. It's slamming brutal death metal from Arizona. React to Zoopocalypse album. Really legit
If you like screaming and singing… go for fear factory
I’d say
Fear factory: Pisschrist
React to the heretic anthem by slipknot live in London 2002
Do CUSTER U’LL LOVE IT I GIVE U MY WORD
Idk who was recommending this song but I would say listen to the best songs, People=Shit or anything off the Iowa Album. Solway Firth.
Literally everyone was recommending this lol, I do what the people want the most
They just dropped a new song, Yen, you should check out. It's awesome.
It's not the title drop it's the title Custer
Motionless in white - Another life ,,, please
