Watched this video again today as it came up on my feed. I was thinking that a couple of sewing needles would fit in that match safe. The artificial sinue can be pulled apart to make some strong thread. Just thinking out loud.
Your flint and steel got me to subscribe. 👍🏼👍🏼 I made my first f/s fire in 1967 when I was eight years old. My Cub Scout Troop had the fire booth at the Scout-O-Rama that summer. We made fire every half hour for three days. I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s my first choice for fire in the wilderness. There’s just something about it, like a zen quality. I like a good belt pouch also. All my belt pouches contain a whistle and signal mirror. I also like to have a small toothbrush.
I actually was just tinkering with this kit last night. Removed some items I haven't used. A mylar blanket would take a lot of real estate in here. Thanks for watching! 👍
Thank you for sharing the contents of your belt pouch. Nice pouch which seems to be a good size for belt carry. The inventory of items carried in you belt pouch (possibles bag) seems to be well thought out and useful in the woods. Gos bless y’all- Tennessee Smoky
I've used other sizes in the past and for me they were just too big. This is a very nice size. Having one just gives me even more peace of mind knowing I have some items that can help in an emergency and they are just nice to have easily accessible. 👍
Awesome brotha just subscribed keep up the videos💪 i make alot of belt pouches trying to get better and more creative each project. Soon i may start selling some when i feel good enough
I'd love to check them out! Thanks a lot for watching. I really want to start making some of my own gear. Not enough hours in the day it seems. Hopefully I'll do a project like that soon. 👍
Starting is the hardest part, with enough practice and better tools youll get faster i can get one done in about an hour or so if i have all the materials ready. And making haversacks isnt much harder just more time consuming ive made leather haversacks aswell
Just a suggestion, but I wouldn't tie those small pouches inside your pouch. If your hands are cold it makes it very difficult to untie. ATB Sam Adler from Vietnam

Thanks! 👍
Nice load out in your belt pouch! I built mine as strictly a fire kit. Exotac lighter sleeve would be my suggestion.
I actually just found mine packed away in a MOLLE pouch. Plan on pocket carrying that again. Thanks for watching!
Your little "char" tin may I ask where you got that as well? Great video thanks!
That tin is what the mini inferno fire starters come in when you purchase them from Self Reliance Outfitters. 👍
@awayinthewilderness4319 OK thanks
Good video! Just subcribed. ATB Sam Adler from Vietnam

Your little draw string pouches may I ask where you got them?
Those velour pouches are sold in a set of 3 on Self Reliance Outfitters website. Thanks for watching!
You fit a lot of stuff in that pouch.
I think I've reduced it down a little since this video. Maybe have to do an update video or something. Thanks for watching! ✌️
Size of belt pouch 5" x 5" x 1"
Cool kit looks similar to mine check out my old
I purposely bought and broke a tool to make my own fire belows
😄 They're so nice to have in your kit! Thanks for watching!
