- After going to my cousin's wedding just outside of Charleston, Rach and I decided to spend some time in one of our favorite cities on the East Coast. It's been 5 years since we've been to Charleston, so we figured we'd hit it up again and try some different restaurants and see some different things. We ate some great food, saw some cool landmarks, and even had a spooky experience at our hotel. Hope you enjoy this video and if you haven't been to Charleston, SC yet, make sure you put it towards the top of your bucket list.

About Us:
We have been married since 2009 and reside near Pittsburgh, PA. Even before we were married, we loved planning trips and traveling to cool destinations. It has now become our passion and we love diving into new foreign cultures, food, and attractions. We started making home DVDs for our own keepsake many years ago. It was a great way to preserve memories and re-live those memories whenever we wanted. We eventually found that uploaded these videos to UA-cam made a lot of sense. We could share them with family and friends across the country in real time, on smart TVs, Ipads, and smart phones. That eventually led to us creating the “Matt n Rach” UA-cam Channel. Our focus now is not only to preserve our memories, but to include educational and useful information for our viewers as well.

We are going to be visiting Charleston for two nights before going to Kiawah resort for a wedding. Thanks so much for doing a great video sites and especially the restaurant. We like the church in Union restaurant and the 82 Queen and the views you got from the pavilion bar. We are going to go to the Magnolia restaurant which we have gotten recommendations from people who have been there writing in the review, as you are going to go to Miller’s, so maybe this will be one we go to also best wishes for you and your baby. great job. I been to Charleston 3 times looking forward to checking out some of those spots. stayed at the Renaissance 6 year ago will be nice to see the update. We also got a starbucks mug.

FYI I like your dads take on the houses being sideways for the breeze, but…the houses were built like that because the homeowners were taxed for how much house frontage faced the street. To get around this they built them with the side facing the street to pay less taxes. I am a Charleston native. 😊 enjoyed your video

So you walk everywhere, you didn’t rent a car?
Correct. We walked everywhere in town. Everything is pretty centrally located. We did use Ubers and had some family there with a vehicle.
I'm going to guess that Matt is a Sagittarius and Rach is a Cancer.
