I’m a little late but is the whole lower valence just held on by the double sided tape? I want to put the zl1 rear diffuser on and I was wondering if taking off the lower valence would leave any holes from rivets or clips or something
Hello! So, in this video the valence and kit held on by a combo of clips and double sided tape. If you get the zl1, it should have holes to clip in. Thank for watching!
What was the update? I wanted to get a separate 12-13 ZL1 rear bumper valence, to replace my Ground Effects from my 10-11 (I have a 2010 2SS RS coupe). The GFX bumper has different attachment style than the ZL1, where the ZL1 bumper has to be notched cuts for the very sides of the ZL1 rear bumper lip. I remember helping my friend cut a new rear SS bumper with a disc grinder(?), in order to make the notches for the bumper to not just be held on with tape.
I am unsure. I don't think the body changed much, just the style. It is quite possible, you may have to get different lights. You should definitely check out the Camaro forums and see if some of those guys know as well. Thank you for watching!
Hi ! I hit a curb and the side skirt broke off and rear bumper on the right side also came off I’ve tried fixing it but it keeps coming lose, will I have to replace the bumper clips ? I think I’ll have to, thanks !
Hi.. I was wondering how wide the double sided 3M tape needs to be for the lower valance.. Also, any tips on how to remove the old tape from valance to get a clean surface for tape to adhere??
Hi Dana! It was 1/2 inch tape and use an eraser wheel. Then clean with alcohol wipe. I used it on a wrap I removed for my tundra so you can see how to use the eraser wheel. Just search tundra Revemoto. Go to www.Revemoto.com
Are the various bumper clips very sensitive to breaking? Hard to see how much you pre-prepped pulling those clips for the video. Debating doing this more than once. Once now to replace backups with LED and once later to repaint whole car. Don't want to damage clips that force me into a new bumper.
Hello David! They don't break that often. They can get brittle but if you are careful they can pop off without breakage. It's easier if you have a panel clip removal tool but a flat-head works fine. Worse case scenario, they are like $2 at the dealership. Thank you for watching.
If it’s just screws I would go to the dealership and if they out of stock. Go to a local hardware store like “ace”. They will have it. If you need painted autobody parts go to www.ReveMoto.com
Great question, but I do not know off the top of my head. A quick autozone visit or looking online will probably get you that answer. Thank you for watching!

It’s crazy all that has to be done to replace the side markers and back up bulbs.
Yeah seriously. Honestly most high performance cars are like this

Is it me or did you forgot to install the "Left" rear back up light !😬🤐
So is swapping the rear bumper pretty straightforward and easy. Mines scratched up and it's cheaper to buy a new one than repaint and fix old one
Hello. Surprisingly, yes, it's pretty easy replacement process. We love how everything just clips on. Thank you for watching!
Does each individual sensor have a specific location or are they all interchangeable
It’s been a while but most of the time you have to check how the work is set up to situate the plugs in the correct direction

Hey, for the 2010-2013 Camaro’s, I’ve heard of people converting the 10-13’s to the 14-15 rear bumper and diffuser. How can I make this work as well?

How did you get the reverse lights out?
Once you got the rear bumper off on the back of the reverse light there is one screw and then you push the tab on the corner to release the light.

Hi where do I get the screw or part that goes in the rear passenger bumper I have the part but I don’t have the screws that go into the bumper
If it’s just screws I would go to the dealership and if they out of stock. Go to a local hardware store like “ace”. They will have it. If you need painted autobody parts go to www.ReveMoto.com
Hello I know this might be off topic from the bumper being removed but by any chance do you know what reverse bulb size ?
Great question, but I do not know off the top of my head. A quick autozone visit or looking online will probably get you that answer. Thank you for watching!
Somebody needs to learn how to backup 😅
