The funniest thing is technically skizz is right since you can breed at the end right as the 24 hrs end. (If your time limit is five minutes you can breed once at 0 min and once at 5 min)
@@discotechgaming As a programmer... I disagree 😅 I make computers do my math for me! 😁 (Like, I'm great with math *concepts,* but terrible with mental arithmetic.)
On the topic of the Tango Math: Tango says, “Every five minutes…12… what’s 12 times 24? 144- 288!!” Assumably his thought process is: sheep can breed every five minutes. How many times can you fit 5 minutes into an hour? 12. He couldn’t remember what 12x24 was, but he knew what 12squared was, and that it would be half of his final answer, so he took that (144) so doubled it to get 288! All in just about five SECONDS. That is some genuinely insane, and impressive, mental math right there.
I don't even think the math itself is the hardest part. We can all solve 12 × 24 without a calculator (I hope), but figuring out the actual question and how to multiply 12 × 24 so quickly is the hard part.😅
@@julianberbelalt962 You might have been thinking "including _descendants",_ which would in fact have been bigger (2+1=3, 3+1=4, 4+2=6, N++ = floor(N*1.5), etc), and would also depend on wheatificating EVERY sheep the _exact game tick_ that they all became eligible to woohoo again, not to mention the cooldown timer doesn't actually begin until _after_ the woohooing animation ends and the babby is spawn...

@@_Heb_ For sure! Anyone who knows their times tables knows that 12x12 = 144, and 144 is nice and easy to double since you don't even have to do any carry-the-ones. And equally impressive to avoid choking or mind-blanking in the heat of the moment too!
16:06 Tango's mental math: "Every 5 minutes-12; what's 12×24…uh…24…288." *How that worked:* Sheep can make a baby every 5 minutes, and 5×12=60 minutes in an hour so they can make 12 babies in an hour (5 minutes per baby × 12 babies per hour = 60 minutes per hour, 12 was the unknown). And finally 12 babies per hour × 24 hours = 288 baby sheep. The fact that Tango said "24" after "12×24" indicates he probably calculated 12×24 using the standard method, breaking it down into 10×24+2×24 = 240+48 = 288 (with the spoken "24" referring to the "240" whose trailing zero is often not written down). Another way to calculate 12×24 would be to recognize that 12×24 = 12×12×2 = 144×2 = 288.
