IMPULSE!!! This thing is built like an escape room, you’re insane! /pos I love all of the nooks and crannies you put into this thing, and all of the fun and creative ideas you’ve got in here! Probably my favourite Build and Seek build of all time!!!
I had to laugh when you were unsure you could put redstone in your build. I thought to myself "They invited Impulse... of *course* he's going to put redstone in his build!" LOL This was awesome and I can't wait to watch the others.
I love that you used redstone for this! This might be the best Build & Seek yet, because I feel like each of you really played very much to your strengths and personalities in really cool ways, which made it extra fun.
I know Scott was just lovely every moment of your build. Gives big escape room vibes. I want Impulse and Skizz to be on an episode with Lizzy. Her fish one was WILD.
That was incredible, Impulse! One thing I thought while watching was that there ought to be a bonus for finding the most *potential* hiding spots (places you'd mark out ahead of time as either real spots you want to hide for one of the rounds or just your top decoys), cuz even though Grian took a long time, he was actually the best at revealing all of your base's secrets, and I'd love to see that kind of thing acknowledged! I know this isn't actually a super competitive game, but that could be a fun addition & a good counterweight to the luck aspect of the game. Like, there are 3 scenarios: 1) Someone finds you right away. 2) Someone doesn't find you right away, but they're slow NOT because they're *stumped* but because they're *thorough.* It's just luck whether they look in A or B or C first when you're hiding in C or B or A. 3) Someone doesn't find you right away, but it's because they're walking past all the good hiding spots. They eventually find you by luck or with the help of hints. You could either have an "honorable mention" category like "Keenest Spotter" to acknowledge the person who found the most cleverly hidden spots (I like this idea, because it preserves the title of "Fastest Finder" for the actual fastest person - luck or no luck), or you could decide that each (predetermined) "clever" hiding place spotted takes 5 seconds or 10 seconds off the final clock, so that if they check B first & you're in A, the 10 seconds it took them to cross B off the list is acknowledged as time well-spent. (Whereas if they just spent those 10 seconds wandering around, that time would count against them.) Anyway, just something I was thinking. I absolutely loved all your redstone in this! And it was great that at least one person really poked around & found it all.
I love to see you included in this series and bring the Redstone, also Scott is a beast at Hide N Seek he always does so good, I wonder if you do the Shulker box trick (if it still works) where you stand on it and open it to fall through if he'd fall for that because I'm starting to be convinced that he can't be tricked he's too clever 😆

I will say, the best time becomes pretty meaningless when you don't hide in the same spot lol. Edit: Also good job on creating all those hiding places. The redstone ones were done really well.

You actually have no idea how genius this is. I watched this with my dad ( who knows redstone ), and we both went wild with the ideas you made. Legitimately genius design and broke my brain. Incredible

Imagine putting a secret spot somewhere, and in that secret spot is another hidingplace, that you are hiding in, but you need to press multiple buttons hidden throughout the map to open the hidden spot in the hiding spot, that way if people find the spot they will think you arent there, but you are they just cant see it because they havent pressed all the buttons, you will never be found
Nice build. The only thing i would say that could impove it is to use trapdoors behind paintings so that they have to crouch walk instead of normal walk and to add buttons or something in the dragon room top floor so that it takes up their time a little bit more.
impulse: "lets use a song that they should know, that will give them a hint" everyone else: [ has never heard the song in their life, so noone gets the hint ]

Redstone is one thing I felt was missing from all of the Build & Seek videos I've seen. I would have so many redstone hidey holes if I were to play this.
I think it would be fun to do a tower with somewhat simple but time consuming puzzles to advance to the next level but all along you're on the first floor behind a more dificult/hidden puzzle.
