There is a catch. I read somewhere that either the broker or ...yes i think most likely it was the algo software, it would not enter a trade that was valued less than one dollar. It did not matter what you put in your settings the the smallest trade entered was $1 if the software interpreted anything less in the settings. Have you encountered this yourself or know of someone who has ? I think we must also take into account that with a $10 000 balance ( or rather 10 000 cents) it is expected that you would be trading at 0.1 or $1 / pip or 100cents per pip. This is to me the only way it makes sense. The point here is that even with a cent account you are still trading in dollars. So I'm hoping that if this was true then that attitude toward cent accounts was only peculiar to that algo and not others. Because if it is peculiar to lots of if not all of algo's then what's the point of having cent accounts.

sorry, no idea as I'm not in the US. The only 2 CENT brokers I'm aware of are FBS and InstaForex. Not sure if they cater for US clients

Nah, my trading is fine. I can still take profits in cents. Hasn't impacted trading at all
