    Ive been looking some quite complicated rigs for method feeding and this is by far the easiest and simplest way to go fishing. And my shop bought hook lengths make it even easier lol..... great video

    New to carp fishing, my understanding is the bolt rig would use the weight to hook the fish and the running rig would be used more in a bite alarm situation or using the drag to set the hook?

    • @fishingtutorials

      This rig uses light line and small hooks, we’ve linked in the description a rig which uses stronger components for big carp.

    Also it might help a little more if you were able to do a video on showing an example of what happens under water with these different rigs. Then what happing to the rod as that fish takes the bait and how you should have your drag set, lines tight or loose? could be very informative.

    The pre made rigs, snapped all day yesterday. Why?? Used the blood knot to tie on the method feeder. Yes we took 6 out and lost 4. Lost 2 feeders too

    • @fishingtutorials
      @fishingtutorials  4 місяці тому

      Not sure why this happened, I can't say without looking at the rigs you used and trying them for myself.
      If you lost your feeder, then that won't be due to the pre-tied rig but instead due to your mainline breaking. Could be that the fish were too big for the strength of line you were using!

  • @hishaamadam1460

    Great video... I always wondered can you use a match rod with a baitrunner reel and a heavy duty pre tied carp rig to catch specimen carp? Also can you use the method without knowing the lakebed?
    Thanks guys

    I'm trying this method for the first time next week.ive never fished this way so it's all new to me and this video helped a lot thanks.
    I'll be fishing for trout on the river derwent that runs through matlock.
    First time targeting trout and like I said using this method so if you could give me any advice on the hook bait to use (I'm leaning towards lobworm)and extra bits to add to my groundbait to pack onto my method feeder sweetcorn etc would be a massive help.
    Loving the videos btw hope you're doing well now you've gone solo

    You guys should look at doing fishing tutorial experience days where you take small groups of people out for a few hours and get them catching. I recently returned to fishing to find that (even within my own local club) the majority of anglers are, to put it bluntly, bitter A-holes, with an attitude of 'go figure it out for yourself, we're not giving away our info'. They have spent thousands of cold wet miserable hours on the bank blanking to gain experience, so everyone else should too. Then the following day they are moaning about club numbers dropping and not enough money to do anything. Your videos are excellent, but nothing beats the confidence that comes from first hand experience with a proven catcher.
