  • Match Fishing Basics - How To Set Up An Inline Feeder
Inline method/hybrid feeders are common place on most commercial venues when match fishing, So learning how to set one up correctly is an important skill for any match angler. This video shows you how to set up the inline feeder using quick change beads tied using a palomar knot. You could also use a tucked half blood knot, this would work just as effectively.

Yes you can purchase various different types of beads to best suit your feeder. Speak to the local tackle shop they'll have what you're looking for.

I don't tie my bead on the way you did. I use a tucked half-blood knot. It hasn't let me down yet!

Always good to use a method you have faith in. If it isn't broke don't fix it!

@@JP.MatchFishing Correctomondo!👍 Btw, look how much line you wasted it tying it your way, and you didn't even wet the knot. Schoolboy error, naughty naughty.

I would always advise wetting any knot before pulling it down tight as advocated in the text. I just try and avoid doing it on camera up close for the benefit of you guys!! But you have given me an idea for my next video!! Thank you, for the feedback. Stay tuned and please feel free to subscribe if you haven't already. Tight lines!!!

@@CB-xr1eg I like his way better than your way. It's much more efficient while also being relatively easy to tie. Tuck half blood knots are simply easier to tie but not nearly as efficient, strong, or durable when it comes to holding up against Carp. His knot in this video is far superior.
