Love that when there’s new skincare (to me) that I wanna try, there’s almost always a video about it from Dr. Dray that I can check to make a more informed decision. And it’s a derm giving me free advice. Thank you, Dr. Dray. Appreciate all the work you put into your channel.
I have very thick Course hair and when I tried waxing omg the ingrown hairs down there was a disaster. Shaving same thing but not as bad. Surprisingly nair gives me the least amount of ingrown hair but the smell is the only thing I wish wasn’t there
Zach&Hannah M. Same. Brings back college memories. 😖
Any form of hair removal destroys my skin:( I still shave my under arms and legs because I hate
The feeling of hair even though mines not bad since it’s blonde and sparse but I’m dying to try laser hair removal
I shave with clippers and I gave up shaving my body hair YEARS AGO. lol
Gave myself the worst burn junior year of highschool using nair down there. Couldn't sit right for 3 days.
Chichi Mweetwa 👍🏼👍🏼
Dr dray--no matter what the topic, watching you, mom and tybee calms me down in this stressful time. Happy Sunday. Stay happy and healthy everyone :)
Thank You!! You Too!! Hope You Have a Happy Sunday!!!
Happy Sunday :)
@@DrDrayzday you too 😊
Reed Berger-Fleishman yes. The routine is nice. :)
I used the Nair sensitive face hair removal (yes I followed all of the given instructions) and I can honestly say it’s the worst thing ever!
I was recommended by a bunch of influencers saying it will give you the softest skin ever (chantel Jeffries yt video) ... it was so awful that I ended up getting scarring and my skin started peeling and had dried blood, I couldn’t even wash my face or do anything with my skin.
I’m now doing micro needling treatments to make up for the damage on my skin. Don’t jeopardize your skin please.
your mom is such a sweetheart I wish you guys the best!
Your mom and Tybee are soooo sweet! Love all your videos!
I love Nair/veet.. it works so well on me. Hair is completely gone, no irritation at all. However after i recommened it to my friend she said she left it on for the prescribed time, removed as diretced and it nothing happened.. just left a terrible smell. Felt very guilty!
it does have a foul odor
I feel as smooth as a sexy dolphin afterwards though! Love you dr dray!
Do you have dark and (perhaps) slightly thicker hair? How long does it usually last? Does the cream darken your armpits (if you use it there)? This is giving me hope because the skin on my body isn't that sensitive so I think it'll tolerate hair removal cream well. I have dark, thick hair. I'm feeling quite scared after reading the comments here though 😖
So sorry for all the questions 🙏
These creams are significantly better for my skin than shaving. I get such severe razor burn when shaving, but when using a product like Nair, I don’t have anything but smooth skin! I’ve tried everything, including Dr. Dray’s recommendations, but my skin just doesn’t like shaving.
pommeG03 same!! I am allergic to nickel so everytime I've tried shaving, my legs start to instantly itch and I just can't handle it. So I just use Nair or when I have more time and patience, wax.
Which nair do you use for legs? How do you use it and wipe off thanks
Your Mom is awesome!! I love seeing her in your videos.
Omg perfect timing was just thinking of shaving thank you 💜
I've never been into waxing. I keep imagining the hair follicle becoming damaged and possibly causing ingrown hairs. I still just shave my legs & underarms, quick & easy.
I love making my own peanut butter using lightly salted cocktail peanuts (less salty than dry roasted), in my food chopper. Sometimes I add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. So good! :)
We are on lock down in Spain and thank God I have Dr. Dray to binge watch 👀💗
Ojala que estas bien
Blessings of Love bless your family and bless your heart they’re probably driving you crazy huh? 😝 seriously, tho all of Spain 🇪🇸 is in my prayers daily and as needed. Much Love to ALL❤️🙏🏻🌟
stay healthy
schima stuff sí! Ten cuidado ❤️❤️ Lo siento si mi español es mal
@@DrDrayzday thank you 😘 ❤
I always use Nair. The last time I used it though, it burned my face the instant it touched my face. I wiped it off within 5 seconds. The burn healed in about a week but wow. That has never happened before. I won't be doing that anymore.
I LOVE aveeno’s (baby) eczema therapy for my extremely sensitive skin. It really helps calm my itchy, irritated skin 😍
Happy Sunday! Thanks for the recipe..it looks great! 😊💛
I love the O'Keefes Working hands! It works better than anything on my hands in the cold winter months!!
I have mild rosacea and when I tried the Aveeno calming gel cleanser, my rosacea had a flare. It also happened when I tried the Hadalabo foaming cleanser. Too bad I like the experience of using them :( the 2 cleansers that I can safely use are Cerave hydrating and La roche posay hydrating cleanser.
Anh Mai Have you tried Eucerin Redness? It’s Fragrance Free and so gentle to my skin.
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser is one of my favorites 👏 😊
Cetaphil also has a redness line. It has a foaming cleanser, day moisturizer with SPF, and a night moisturizer.
13:35 maybe put the chia seeds with some water the night before so they're soft not crunchy. xx
Wax kits are a waste of Money just get a Wax warmer for 20 bucks on amazon, popsicle sticks at Dollar Tree and recycle your Bill paper and cut them in little squares ....
Vivian Gonzalez You can use paper instead of cloth strips?! The paper has enough strength to hold together when you rip it off? Wow, thanks for that info! That’s great! 😻💙💙
I tried Nair on my legs once , my legs became so itchy that l had to rince it off after a minute or two.
Heading to the Lake House for a few days, thankfully the snow is melting making it easier to walk Finn. Stay safe everyone 😊🍁
Billie razors are my absolute FAVORITE!!!!!
Mackensi Bowlin same! They’re the best!
What do you think about at home laser hair removal? Specifically the Kenzzi handset
I use the nair for my legs, shave my armpits and upper lip, and trim my "down there "very close. I tried hair removal cream, shaving and waxing did down there and it all irritates me and I get some type of rash, its extensive for just hair removal but it's worth it!🤍
No Nair or Veet for me! I've had burns and irritation far too many times. It's razors all the way plus it's nice to get the exfoliation at the same time
I remember you talking about your oat bars in an earlier video so thanks for the recipe! I'm going to make them. My vote for best peanut butter is Kirkland Signature organic peanut butter from Costco. I don't know if it's the Valencia peanuts or what but it's delicious. Have a great week Dr. Dray and everyone!
Connie I need to give that one a shot 👍🏼
The prices of these products at this particular store in your area are insane! The Nair bikini cream runs under $5 at my store.
Good Sunday Dr. Dray.,, stay safe in this chaotic time/ enjoy your videos as always
you too :)
The chemical hair removers did not work for me and were quite irritating. Shaving gave me horrible ingrown hair problems and itchiness. It’s only when I started waxing that I finally got a break. I’m currently doing laser hair removal and even when I shave now, I don’t have ingrown hair anymore 😃 my hair became soft like when I was having my first hair.
*Dr. dray a tip I learned if you struggle trying to pry the last of the dry nut butter off the bottom of the jar... is to store it upside down in fridge/cabinet the night before you open it, and then continue to store it that way after, and you will never be left with a dry end of the jar plus the hassle of trying to carefully mix the naturally occurring oil separation that always seems to floof over the edge each time the jar is opened! Once I started doing this I couldn’t help but to wonder how something that seems so obvious never crossed my mind haha! 😄*
I had a Nair horror story. I used it and and like an idiot I rubbed it in like lotion and it burned my skin off. After it healed it left a large hyperpigmentation area on me and I was prescribed Triluma to help and thank the lord it went away. Will never forget that pain tho!
Happy Sunday beautiful ladies and Tybee! ❤❤❤
Mercedes Arnao happy Sunday 💙
When I think of chia seeds, I think of chia pets? Am I alone? 😂
Christina McGinnis same lol
Ch-ch-ch-chia!
Shar Roon my first response as well then laughed loudly and woke my dog 😝😝😝🌟
EVERYTIME SOMEONE SAYS CHIA AAAAARRRGH!!!😳😳😳
chia as in neopets chia?
We love you Dr Dray, thanks for all the great content. Keep up the good work!
I love Nair. I have bad keratosis pilaris and it helps smooth out the bumps I get while it removes the hair. The key is to not leave it on long & don't rub it in aggressively like lotion.
Which one do you use for legs how long do you leave it on and wipe it off with
Please stay safe during these difficult times.🙏
Happy Sunday Dr Dray And family, hope you have a wonderful week!..see you all tomorrow x💙🤩
Thank You Soo Much!! Happy Sunday Evening!! I Hope You Have a Great One!!
Paula Hatch happy Sunday
Head and Shoulders has a fragrance free version called purely gentle 2 in 1. Got mine at Walmart.
I shave my face with a razor like a man would no cap, it has improved the texture, brightness and reduced my acne to 3 little spots
I do too
pickaflower xx how often do you change your razor ? And do you exfoliate..? Do you use any shaving cream before? I get little bumps whoever I shave my face and I want to know maybe about the potential mistakes I’m making.
Ana Guadron I change my razor when it starts getting dull I don’t really have a set time to do it and I use just a bic soleil razor I do exfoliate my skin with a hot wash cloth before and after shaving, I don’t use a shaving cream though I do use aloe vera gel or just a face lotion if you’re getting bumps maybe try a topical acne treatment or deep moisturize after, I’m not an expert but I hope this helps you
pickaflower xx thank you so much!!
I shave mine dry with an eyebrow razor and it’s done wonders for my skin!
Hello to you and your mum 🖐🏼
Always enjoy your videos Dr.Dray 💖
I shave 🪒 with a men’s razor 1-2x a week. I like to keep my lady area nice and clean so I’ve noticed I can shave 1-2x a week or I’ll get razor bumps. I like to use Nair facial hair removal for my mustache. The smell is foul but it works really well and it leaves my top lip feeling so smooth. I use it 1-2x a month I think. And I tweeze my eye brows. I don’t like waxing because rot always lifts my skin off, (while using retin a you cannot wax).
Thanks a lot! Happy Sunday!
Ekaterina Kozlovskaia happy Sunday
I have eczema and really sensitive skin so none of these creams for me. I don't have a thick growth of body hair and only need to shave my legs once a fortnight. I do my underarms every couple of days. I'm not very hairy, so shaving works for me and I use a fragrance free conditioner or body wash for slip. I use a five bladed razor and each blade lasts a couple of weeks. I'm naturally blonde so any hair on my limbs is also very light. That won't work for a heavy growth or thick dark hair, but it works for me. Best wishes.
Hi dr Dray , my eyelids get dark when stressed is this dermatitis ? What helps? You’re amazing thanks for all your knowledge and help 🌹
I have tried literally tried all methods. Creams, Laser, Shaving, Wax.
With Laser the hairs still came back.
With shaving, omg the hair growth was too fast and bushier. (Very bushy)
Wax, is my option but hurts a lot
Creams, are quick and easy.
So yes in my case, Shaving made my bikini area much bushier and thicker.
I use nair for my brows tbh and it works
I would caution people against wax strips that come in a box. I normally wax with a standard wax pot. I bought some sally wax strips while traveling in Europe. They gave me chemical burns, or something like that. I recently used flamingo strips, again while traveling. They didn't burn me, however they weren't very effective in removing my much hair from my face.
Hi doc , I had a severe allergic reaction to hair removing cream, left me with depressed atrophic scars and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation that’s been there for 9 years now . My dermatologist said it’s melasma , can’t they see o got post inflammatory hyperpigmentation on the pitted atrophic scars which was damaged so how could it be melasma !!!
Hi Dr Dray! I just bought recomended by u sunscreens from yesstyle and I'm loving it! Verdio UV gel is such a game changer for me. I enjoy it so much more than my usuall go to Cetaphill oil control. I fall in love with japanese sunscreens and they r the only one wich I enjoy reaplying! Thank u so much again!
hey dr. dray! I was wondering if you have any product or routine recommendations for sensitive areas like dark bikini lines or armpits?
Your hair looks cute braided!
thanks!
Yes, super cute!
What do you recommend for dark underarms? Is there a bleaching cream that works for that.
Oh I love that baby dove! it's perfect for traveling because I can also wash my hair with it! (I have kinky/coily 4c hair)
I have washed my hair with Marseille soap, it works in a pinch.
I might have to try it for my curly hair
Giuliana I tried it in a pinch and I was really surprised how soft my hair was
@@MoSaysS0Never thought to try it on my hair type. Great tip!
You know, I never thought to try that!
Hi Dr Dray! I would love to hear your thoughts on waxing the skin while using vit a products as it can cause the skin to tear? 😊
Aw, love your mama & Tybee. TFS.
Your Mum is very cute. I wish you both health in these trying times.
You too Ms Irmina :)
Hey Dr. Dray, what are your thoughts on bleaching the hair on your face?I'm here to find an alternative for threading my facial hair, it's more of peach fuzz hair, but it feels so depressing when the hair grows back it feels prickly and spiky as a man's beard 😥 do you have any thoughts on that?
*please do a video addressing facial hair!
I love it when your mom tells us to have a good week. I loathe Mondays, but her well-wishes put me in a better mood about it lol!
Dr.Dray I once in awhile I do use Nair on my face my hair grows back the same I only leave it on for 3min because longer then that it burns ,is it ok to use once in awhile? Thankyou Dr.Dray
Make a review on admire my skin 2% on amazon I’ve been trying it and i think it’s really working
I once tried a home wax kit for the hair on my upper lip....mustache...ok I have a mustache.😂 Ripped a huge chunk of skin off! Besides being painful, it was incredibly embarrassing. Never again! The bars looked good. I love bananas and your dehydrated apples looked like they turned out well. Great to see adorable little Tybee and your sweet momma. Her little bunnies are so cute. Hope you all had a beautiful weekend! 😊
Hey doctor could you make videos about face shaving and the proper way of doing it !?big love ♥️
Awesome Please I have one
That recipe looks yummy! And you're correct, that brand of almond butter is definitely my least favorite. Happy Sunday!!
Hi Dr, would you be able to share a video with your opinions about the Coronavirus situation?
I like waxing during the summer so I can take shorter showers and save water. I’d love to try laser hair removal!
I love your sundays w/mom but here in Dallas people are staying home for the biggest part of the epidemic...so be safe...xoxo thank you so much for your time you spend w/us...xoxo
I always love your recipes Dr Dray!!
thanks! Hope you are having a nice weekend
Hello Dr. Dray i notice that sunscreen wears off and bas to be reappliec every two hours, does that same concept apply tp moisturizers, lotions, etc?
omg i would never ever ever recommend nair to anyone! i used it on my butt to get rid of peach fuzz and had baby smooth skin for 2 days and then had THE WORST RAZOR BURN OF MY LIFE AFTER! it lasted months it hurt to sit down i swear damn near every single follicle became ingrown! took months upon months to go back to normal. I do have sensitive skin but this was surprising! had never reacted to any product so severely. be careful if you try it
Hmmm...I wonder if I could make those oatmeal bars with nuts and raisins / dried cranberries: that definitely looks like a tempting idea for me. Thanks for the Tybee-moment at the end: he's the icing on your clip!
Dr Dray,
out of topic.
correct me if I’m wrong. DHT is good for beard growth and I read about azelaic acid is one of DHT blocker. if I using azelaic acid religiously, it will thinning my beard or not?
thank you so much in advance.
CereVe Hydrating Cleanser makes a good shaving cream for me. I use a bikini trimmer and then occassionally Nair.
You shave with that cleanser down there still??
@@Ohkeh640 nope. I stopped those toxic topicals due to gut illness.
Now I use whipped beef tallow or one of my soaps: kirks or bronners fragrance free.
I’ve used Nair for years w/o a problem. Last summer it removed some skin in the folds of my armpit. I couldn’t wear deodorant for THREE days. In the summer.
Thank God I work from home.
ouch! yeah the armpit is more prone to irritation due to skin on skin contact + moisture
Please do a video on hand washing and the best hand creams for dry cracked hands from hand washing. I’m always scared lotion will effect the effectiveness of antibacterial soaps.
ua-cam.com/video/9F2_CDWqUnI/v-deo.html
Definitely wanna try this
Nair.... The smell even makes my stomach turn 🙄🙏 happy Sunday everyone 🙏
Thank You!! Happy Sunday Evening!!
Omg I have always teased my bf about never washing his legs except on special occasions, and since he's started washing them chicken legs more often he's complained about the skin being dry! Now I feel so bad for peer pressuring him 😓
Tell him to use lotion
will bleaching my body hair now have an effect on my hair or skin and how it reacts to laser hair removal in the future?
I wax my moustache and brows myself and little nose hairs on my nose etc. i have a pot I heat up at home. Very convenient.
Dr. Dray we love your recipes and the different ingredients that you use along with your skin care you’re the best
thanks!
Love when you take us shopping with you 😁. And so enjoy seeing your Mom and Tybee.
I used to use Veet on my legs as a teenager (15/16 I could remove my hair). I only did my lower legs, as my mom always warned me about removing it on top (I have such fine and sparse hair there that it is hardly noticeable). Now it barely grows (disability), and so I pluck the few hairs out that pop up once in a while. Bikini line, same, pluck the few stragglers out that show next to the panty-line. More is not necessary. IMO.
hair removal is a pain...literally
So you did it once and only some of the hair grows back after that? Did you use the cream on your bikini line too?
I'm 18 and I'm very lazy so I would like to avoid having to remove my hair frequently - which is why I don't want to shave. I'd plucked some of the hair on my legs before and they didn't grow back. I'm taking that as a good sign. Sorry for the questions 🙏
@@asuka-ryo No I did it every time hair grew back during my teens and well into my 20s. Veet or Nair isn't something permanent but it keeps the hair from growing back for a long time. You have to really coat the area, then wait the instructed amount, then use the scraper to remove (and do not run it down your drain, but discard it in a tissue after each pass). I have sparse hair now due to a disability in both legs (and lacking circulation). I think you might have misunderstood me, but I could have been more clear. :)
What’s wrong with using it on the thighs
@@Ohkeh640 If you hardly have hair (invisible), it's not necessary!
everything in neutrogenas hydroboost line made be BREAK out. I have sensitive skin but its not acne prone. I wish it worked for me because I actually liked how it worked until it started burning and I got break outs.
Is urea 25% ok for hands I use it on legs after shaving and on my feet after scrubbing them and on my hands arms sometimes.
Walkers 25% lotion
Thoughts?
Dear drDray, sorry I have a question about different subject if You dont mind. What soap will be the best for hands especially now,I have eczema on my hands and already horrible breakouts of it because of extensively washing hands.Just wondering all soaps will destroy viruses, which ones will be the best to do the work and not be very harsch on hands.
Wonderful, enjoy your shopping trips,I just made blueberry muffins, now I need to make some breakfast cookies, your recipe looks very healthy & good. Happy Sunday to your Mom &Tybee too. See you tomorrow. Stay Healthy🏡🌈👒👒👒
I am 68, and I just still shave my legs. To me it is the easiest, however, years ago I did waxed. Some of the har on my lower legs no longer grows. Nor sure what causes that, but know it is common.
Common cause is bad blood circulation in lower legs you should check this out it could be serious.
Emily Morris Menopause causes a drop in estrogen, which, for most women, leads to a reduction in the hair under the arms and on your legs. It also is responsible for the hair on your head thinning. Believe it or not it also relates to the appearance of those lousy little hairs on your chin as those can appear due to a drop in estrogen and a tick up in testosterone. Check out Menopause Taylor's videos. She is a gynaecologist and makes great content for women.
@@tanon2703 my father didn't have a drop of estrogen because he was man and hair on his lower legs stopped growing because of arteriosclerosis later he had other problems with his heart ,brain stroke and multiple operations on his arteries,I don't say she is candidate for that but just to check it can be serious, take care :)
@@itscomplicated9289 men have estrogen just not as much a women. But, yes a lack of circulation can cause hair lose as well as the the hair follicles could have just died. It's very common once you've reached a certain age. For some it's early than others. Also, medications can play a huge part in that as well as dry skin within the older population. 💚😀
Is it good to use those skin scraping spatulas on your face some are vibrating?
Happy Sunday Dr. Dray, Your Sweet Mom, and Precious King Tybee!! Hope You All Have a Bright and Beautiful Day!! Always! xoxoXO!!
Happy Sunday :)

Hi Dr dray! Can you review epilators? Thank you!!!
Thanks for the recipe Dr. Dray. Your videos are always informative and interesting. God bless you.
Happy Sunday Dr.Dray thanks for sharing with us 💞
Happy Sunday :)
Ever tried peanut flour? It's like PB2 without the added sugar and salt...
Hair removal creams burn the hell out of my skin!!!
Well sucks to have sensitive skin 😂
Katie Taylor Never again for me 😭
Same but the veet sensitive skin works so well for me but I have to leave it on for the whole ten minutes because it is too gentle
Dr Dray, your videos are amazing! You’ve helped me clear my acne and I cannot thank you enough!! I’d be so curious to hear your thoughts on at-home IPL devices for hair removal, such as the Kenzzi. Do they actually work?
Can u pls talk about mildew on the scalp and ways to help it and products
Thanks!!
I sugar wax my bikini and my hair grows back pretty slowly and sparse so I prefer it and i thread my eyebrows
Can you please make a video on laser hair removal. I have very thick leg hair.
