I really liked this era. The cup really went around. Reds, Chiefs, Warratahs, Highlanders, Hurricanes and Crusaders. I just wish the Lions could have won one.
how good a coach is Razor!, Crusaders had stars galore for years under Blackadder and could not win one title, Robertson takes over with a squad of youngsters and we have been champions since, amazing!
Super rugby will always stay the peak of union rugby. Yes its last few years not good but back in the late 2000s akd early 10s. Nothing will ever beat it.
Super 14 was the best format. Super 12 was also good, but super 14 was always so competitive, direct and touring, teams from South Africa did not have to stay abroad for such a long time as they did in the super 18 version Edit: yes I know super 18 is incorrect, just easier to cite the amount of , teams
thats why we lost 2019 world cup because crusaders won super rugby 😂😂😂 but we won the 2015 world cup and the highlanders won the championship so it doesn't always work 😂
No not hard luck! You can be a great team, but if you don't know how to win, then you just don't know how to win. Take both the 2012 and 2017 season. in 2012 the Stormers were by far at the top of the log, about 10 points clear of the nearest team, but lost to a mediocre sharks team in the semi final. 2017, Lions were the best team again by far! What do the do? they throw away the final by playing the worst, and unstructured game they've had in a decade! This as after 5 years of building up the team into something phenomenal. Whereas the Bulls have no clue how to lose a final! watch the 2007 SR final, you'll know what I mean.
When you think that last year top 14 final you had 2 players Jesse mogg and Aaron Cruden, plus other players who had been in a final before ( world cup ) and couln't win it. Makes you wonder
1.) New Zealand sides have won for the last three years, so its up to Lions wrestle the title away from NZ, and bring it to South Africa for the first time since 2010 when Bulls won it. 2.) Its a shame you didn't include Scott Robertson dancing.
I dont know, I wasnt expecting them to win, even though it was a home final. Thought they were much better in 2016 but needed to have secured top of the table
@@nicholasvanlierde2546 at home in 2016 the only team to properly beat them was the Hurricanes. They weren't the best team that year. They were definately the best team of 2017. Crusaders had no business winning that imo the Red card was the difference.
the sad part about it is that so many of the good lions players went overseas otherwise they for sure would have won in one of the years around 2016 and 2017
@@jlptnutrition5134 yes but it doesnt matter because we won it so much anyway ! for the good of rugby we need to let others win sometimes through some rubbish ref calls.
Winning our first title in 21 years was special. Especially for our city i was a day one Hurricanes fan and i still am. Black and yellow
I really liked this era. The cup really went around. Reds, Chiefs, Warratahs, Highlanders, Hurricanes and Crusaders. I just wish the Lions could have won one.
And it went around teams that mostly hadn't won it before.
The highlights would be the Aussie teams & Highlanders victories
It was the Lions's to take in 2017, but they threw it away
Your pic says proud kiwi, and yet you wished the lions could have one?
@@josephtdi8764 I'm pretty sure every kiwi besides crusaders fans would've wanted the lions to win haha
Thanks so much Real Rugby for putting up the compilation - it has really psyched me up for tomorrow!
Cheers mate! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the support!

Elliott Dixons try in 2015 was ridiculous
Hectic bro 👌🏾😳
Thanks from Spain!

I've found my new favourite channel
I think I found my favourite new subscriber! Thanks for the support Alex!
I am only 01:44 minutes in and I just wanna point out that Dan Carter is the best player I have ever seen...
Lol at 20:33 the halfback was jumping around looking for someone to jump on and no one was doing it so he jumped on the 11 when he wasn't ready 😂
Blues forever
Hhhhhhhhh
Could you do the same for the heineken cup?
Didn’t know Sonny Bill Williams won a few titles wow
where are the 2006-2011??????
3:19 such an obstruction .... if we cant call that back for a no try then how can we call the WC 2023 non try for one 5+ phases
Lions deserved at least 1 title in that Ackerman era.
Chiefs 2 years in a row
New Zealand Teams are always in The Finals.
That was a great Crusaders team that lost to the Reds. Genia and Cooper were on fire that year.
and digby ioane
Chiefs!! Back to back baby!!! Can't take that away. #ChiefsMana all day urryday!!
And 2020?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@leitanela7297 Ssshhh, lemme reminisce...😂😂😂
good vid
im glad we didnt win the championship in 2011 because the World cup win made it so much sweeter hahahahaha

Geez, the lions and sharks have lost alot of finals throughout the history of super rugby. That's some hard luck

joris vermalen Cruden and Mogg were also rans.
CHIEFS 2012 WHAT A YEAH❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hahahaha! Probably the best highlight of the last decade
the lions are going to lose 3 consecutive finals. the crusaders are just too clinical this year sorry my man
Tzaki they did lose
Star Wars Rebels Clips i know i predicted they would and they did
Bring back Glen Osborne
I remember watching the 2012 final and that was when Sonny Bill Williams became a " PRETTY BOY "
When the chiefs beat the sharks so convincingly, yet 2009 they were thrashed properly(mind you they had a great squad)
Lions 2019 plz
With the form of the boks of lately very well could be
Possible
Nope didnt make the finals 😂😂😂😂 crusaders win again
Crusaders robbed in 2014 wasnt a penalty any other reef and saders win
レッズ最強やったもんなぁ
Rule: There must always be a New Zealand side in the final
That makes no sense
Liam Venter, true, but I was referring to this compilation
Liam Venter 2001, 2007, 2010 no NZ sides featured
Apologies :-)
TheUltimate SharpShooter Not a rule, just highly likely.
Cruz 2018
The Lions really should have won it in 2017 had it not been for that red card. That's the last time they'll ever see a final berth imo
I dont know, I wasnt expecting them to win, even though it was a home final. Thought they were much better in 2016 but needed to have secured top of the table

when the red card was given they were losing 12 -3 at home ! yes they should have won !

that Elliot Dixon try was not a try, will never get over that
Sharks should be ashamed of themselves in 2012
Nah they should be proud.. they made the final and played against an amazing chiefs team
Crusaders were robbed badly in 2014!!
They were. I remember that penalty was rubbish and then ref came out next week and said sorry, got it wrong haha
