Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- In this video I test ride the highly anticipated Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide ST. This bike is based around the King of the Bagger race bikes and you can both see and feel it! I am in love with this bike.

I agree with you, it feels like Harley knocked it out of the box with the CVO-ST. One dose really have to change anything on the bike, probably will change bars and risers to Thrashin but there is no need really, and the ST-CVO got more power than most can handle. I have to say i really like the new Pan America CVO.
Great informative video. Great camera set up 👍🏾
Gotta say Harley really knocked it out of the park with this one, sure you can nit pick little things here and there being stock but truly Harleys are made to be customized and I myself have made mine the way I want but to already have that power in a stock bike plus the tech that comes with it to me was a smart move for sure
Great review! Enjoyed meeting you yesterday.
Appreciate it. Great meeting the two of you. Hope your ride was good yesterday. Definitely not as warm today as it was.
I agree with you - it's easily the nicest bike in stock form that Harley-Davidson has ever produced. I'm waiting to see if they apply the same treatment to the Low Rider ST next year as I think it deserves the same overall design language 🔥
They better be perfect stock ,we won’t have any money left over after buying those bikes
Great content as usual, but not your standard comprehensive critique, as it truly is a nice bike. I really like the styling and ergonomics of the RG in particular. With that being said, one thing still has my ire, the cam cover on all the new glides. Harley states that only the CVO's got the VVT. Well, to my knowledge, the standard 117 and the 121 HO have a cam proximity sensor. I was fortunate enough to view all 3 configurations, and there is definitely a wiring harness behind that peninsula on the timing cover. Now riddle me this, why would a MoCo go to the trouble of installing a cam proximity sensor WITHOUT employing a cam phaser (VVT) ? Doesn't make much sense.
In addition, not a gripe, but to what demographic are they marketing this (ready to go out the box) 50K motorcycle to, considering from a price point perspective, they've thinned out the herd quite a bit.
Seems they left some of us diehards of the 60's and 70's out of the game ? We only put Harley on the map 🤷♂
UPDATE: the ECM has been heavily modified to accommodate the VVT, starting with the 23 1/2 CVO's. The aftermarket community is back to the grindstone.
I'm curious to see how people handle taller tbars and that dash getting blocked.
I’m a softail guy, I had a ‘19 FXBB and currently have a Baja orange ‘21 FXBBS. I would LOVE to see a CVO Street Bob with better suspension, bigger engine, etc. I don’t see it happening, but it would be nice. Between the two CVO RG ST, I would go with the white one. I love the eagle..
awesome ride review
my 2 cents- not a fan of the music during the ride. let’s hear the bike!
I agree HATE THE MUSIC also !
@@talkingrock7011me too!
Great Video...fair assessment of the CVO\ST. I think something is wrong with your camera as it puts black boxes over the speedometer sometimes.... LOL
Was watching your tach....you seem to like to ride the M8's above 3000 rpms, Any particular reason, or just your style?
Thanks for the review and commentary.
It’s a higher RPM cam in this engine
I want that high output and performance but at the same time I want the comforts from the regular CVO not sure if to get the ST and just add the speakers and touring pak or get the regular CVO and just add the heavy breather…. 😅
Awesome review Blair
Great video as always.
Im learning to ride (UK viewer here...got my motorbike tests and of the month)...would love to try a Harley one day
I'm not sure if HD does demo trucks over there but if they do that would be the best way to ride them all. Get your license and look up demos in your area. The right bike will speak to you.
Pretty sweet! Great review 👍
Really Really great video. Thanks, I have same one same color on the way.
How is the suspension? Stiff? Smooth? Do you feel all the small cracks and bumps?
I'm ready for riding season
I have a 2024 CVOST and I’m very unhappy with the amount of vibration that it has between 2800 RPM and up. Wondering if you have noticed this on any of your test rides or are you just cranking the throttle and riding right through it?
Great review again.. Thank You
I will likely wait until Daytona Bike Week to ride one. My local dealer will let me, but I don’t feel right in asking them when I know and they probably know too that I won’t be buying one for awhile, like 2 or 3 years down the road. I do like what I’m seeing.
That’s the right thing to do for sure. I’m telling you it handles like a dream. It feels as light as my Softail in the curves. I really hope all this trickles down the line over the next 2 years.
@@throttleblip9854 I hope it trickles down too because I don’t want to pay a CVO price. The regular SG and RG got some nice improvements already. Maybe some more improvements will happen before I’m ready to buy again.
Great view, thank you. I want one.
Why did Harley make this bike? I just got my Indian pursuit. This hurts. Killer bike.
It's a great bike. 👍
I agree with you, anyway in my case I have a low rider st and I have more power that I can handle
I am thinking about it. I will let you know if I purchase one next month. Great job on the review.
That wind buffering must be terrible. There is no windshield on that thing. Looks cool though 😮. Nice one up bike. It won't surprise me if its a top seller😅
I own the exact motorcycle and I don’t notice wind buffering at all.

Love the merch
Great review 👍👍👍🇳🇿
Appreciate it.
Nice bike nice review
does that infotainment have GPS?
Top H-D ❤
Great review! I've been to the dealership, and that bike is AWESOME!!! Out of my price range, it's definitely one that I would buy. 👍👊😎
How’s the wind buffeting?
I didn't notice any and that was with the little vent open.
@@throttleblip9854you should have less buffeting with the vent open
There are no additional fees from the factory not in 2024, Dealers may differ.
63k In Australia 🤔 Not sure how many Aussies have that sort of cash to splash in this economy
Love the look but absolutely do not like the Bags ,Horn & grips they should ave done Avon grips also a better designed industrial mirror .
The mufflers are a definite no go .
Just stopped by a dealer today to check out the 24 models. Don’t care for the tail lights on the new baggers. Look actually worse in person, like something off an old Dodge from the 70s. The dealer was crammed full of unsold 23 models it looked like. Hope the 24 models sell better 😅
Maybe when you reach 50k, you can reward yourself with a new CVO 😅
Do you know why the sounds cut out on your recording every few seconds when using your helmet audio?
My set up does the same, it seems like yours got less and less. Any fixes you're willing to share?
😅 thought it was me
You should luv every part of it for $43G. Now offer a non CVO version and maybe we'll finally have value for the dollar from this co.
Best bike? No
The Pan America, V-Rod, FXDX, or XR-750 are each better in their own way
Best bagger? Without a doubt
You only live and buy a CVO once , buy the bike , my 131 CVO S/G made unusable power but it a blast
get a pan america
