I’ve got a 2021 Road Glide Limited. So liquid cool. I’ve put a 128 S&S on it with a zippers cam. Haven’t done anything to help the engine cooling other than the factory coolant and fans. No issues. I had a high speed stage 4 103 twin cam with a S&S 585 cam and that thing ran hot all the time.
CEO HARLEY is smart as you can see they turned the bike down in power the only way you will get the bike to take off and roll to its Potential is to buy more parts and Performance upgrades for the engine to open the bike up correctly…
Great job on this video. Every new Harley engine reveals a shortcoming or issue. (EG. oil sumping in 17 that resulted in oil pump/cam plate changes) It will be interesting to see what quirks show up with the new engine.
It's nice BUT it is 50k.Maybe once the styling filters down to the regular Road Glide. Doesn't make sense for me to spend 50k (probably more with dealer markups) to tear it apart and start replacing everything.
I'm loving the videos dropping on the new CVO.. REAL QUESTION.. Why are all the charts not crossing at 5252??. The equation of tq over time to make HP number crosses at 5252?.
He explains in the video that it’s based on the gear that the bike is in when he makes the pull. If 6th gear won’t allow 5000 rpm then you won’t get a consistent number
@officialmac yea I understand that it is hitting the speed limiter.. but the lines should of never came together!! Ummm 🤷♂️ 🤷♂️. But in gears that go 5252 the lines cross at that point.. im sure I'm missing something
@Ridingfish I'm trying to understand your question but the lines will always cross from torque to horsepower. one is usually gonna be higher than the other at the peak. If I'm understanding you correctly. But what I think everyone is missing is when this bike is able to be tuned as a stage 1 bike it's gonna be 130hp bike.

My first thunder header on my 23 road glide st and the actual pipe fit really well but the fit and finish of those heat shields was not what I was expecting for a $1900 exhaust . Iv been hardcore bassani road rage 3 on all my bikes and have had good luck performance and fit and finish never a problem and wanted to try the thunder header and I love the sound and the actual pipe just a little disappointed in the heat shield set up

Don't care at all for the skirts under the fairing and I'm not big on the Cadillac tail lights, but the rest I can probably adapt to. Got to say though, the whiskey neat is WAY better than the silver. I didn't like it at all in the silver, but the whiskey neat might be winning me over.
So the numbers aren't different than a 120 TC or 124 M8 it's just you pay for it up front. And besides exhaust you don't have to any mods. Sounds like a win.
Gosh I only paid $29,000 for my H2 SX SE. Paid $300 for a flash and it only gives me cruse control, dynamic suspension setting, traction control, 220 HP, 110 torque, self healing paint, and brembo brakes. Did I get ripped off? I mean it is a sport cruiser am I expecting too much when I could have a whole 89 hp. I don't even have a useless sound system.😂🤣😂🤣 I guess I'll have to make do with Aprilia Tuareg 660 duel sport with cruse control that I'm buying with my out the door cash differential. 😁 Good times and LG baby.
@@officialmac That sounds like a fun bike. You can do the same thing with the Busa killer Ninja 1400 and it will run much better. Also, 300 hp bikes come with their own sets of problems. I need reliability for long cross country trips and can still top 200 with out breaking a sweat when conditions are right.
wide flat torque curves make bikes feel super fast, peak hp numbers at high rpm are great but thats not all that wins races. and jorge likes his nitro fuel
I really hate how much they leave on the table here. 135 tq with the right cam this could easily be a 140whp bike from the factory. hell my 114 street bob put down 131whp/130wtq with ward ported 55 manifold, 5.5 injectors, jackpot riot 2/1, woods 777xe cam and 93 octane
There are some guys out there that can’t handle a bike with power so they have to restrict them from the factory. We’ve tested this bike already it can definitely get you in some trouble!

No way after the roll out of the M8 in 2017. Five oil pumps later. Transmission fluid transferring over to the primary. Fast forward to the poor Pan America owners. Blown engines and electrical problems galore. I wish these owners with the new cylinder heads, valve train, variable valve timing and all new electronics on this new bike the best of luck. Keep that warranty place!

Motors are ACTUALLY reliable
Or, get a BMW K1600 (GT, GTL, B, or GA) and smoke them all in fully stock condition (160 hp and 129 ft/lb), and still have the ability to corner without scraping everything....all for about $25-28k.
A 103' won't get close to the power this bike is gonna make after its able to be tuned. It made 130tq without being tuned that says alot. But overpriced is all an opinion and your walled but I can understand where you are coming from.

All the M8s I’ve seen have been very reliable after they upgraded the oil pump back in 2021
My 2020 trike 114 sumped at 8500 miles and destroyed the engine... :-(

100% true 88s it was cam chain tensioners 96s it was compensators 107s it was oil pumps and sumping

Yeah I think it was a waste of money. I had an 08' busa for 6k and put 5k into and made 300hp sooo

My 2019 CVO SG makes 155/148 (I punched it out to a 128ci) @ 6250rpms.

A 103' won't get close to the power this bike is gonna make after its able to be tuned. It made 130tq without being tuned that says alot. But overpriced is all an opinion and your walled but I can understand where you are coming from.
