  • Developing Speed for Longer Drives
    Hey Everyone,
    This weeks video is going to look at how we can train for speed with a bit more technical specificity to our sport, golf.
    In this video I will go over a brief introduction into a type of training we offer here at Premier Fitness Systems which will be the use of “Speed Sticks” for the purpose of increasing swing & ball speed, ultimately increasing our distance!
    If you followed last weeks video I discussed the make up of “Force” and how it relates to “Power”. Now let’s put this training to work!
    When training with speed sticks we will work through 2 different areas;
    1. “Ground Force Production”
    - Training with & without it
    2. “Opposite Side Strength”
    - the brain & body will only allow us to move as fast as it knows it can safety slow us down, like a reflex!
    - This is something we will want to look to add into our training regimen.
