"Te quiero" is not the most correct way to say "I love you" in the romantic sense. It is used casually, for friends and family. The correct way to say it is "Te amo". I also saw that you used a capital "Q". That's a grammatical error. In Spanish capital letters are used at the beginning of a sentence or proper nouns, but almost never for words within a sentence. Btw I love your videos! I was never interested in calligraphy but these videos make me want to improve my writing.
@@disgruntledcommenter-o4h "i want you" is the literal meaning of "Te quiero" that is correct, but translating it literally can be a bit confusing, it sounds like you are talking about an object...that's why i focus on the "sentimental" sense that native spanish speakers use. there are many ways to express love in Spanish, unfortunately they can be easily confused by mistranslation and lack of context.
@@disgruntledcommenter-o4h te quiero isn't just I want you, it also means a lighter I love you, just like they said in the first comment. so it's normal to confuse the two in a language that doesn't differentiate between those meanings.
In Vietnamese, “Tôi mến bạn” Sound More friendly, and it isn’t a way to say “I love you”. Instead, you should write “Tôi yêu bạn”, since “yêu” means love in Vietnamese, and it sound more like “I love you”!
in Vietnam we actually don't often say love (yêu or mến) but we say we like sb ( tôi thích bạn ), it's more common. And the phrase "tôi mến bạn" is the kind for people who are close as family or close friends, not lovers
@@Vinsmok3Marim0 It's like that in latam, but here in Spain, where I'm from, "Te Quiero" means both "I love you" and "I care for you", and "Te amo" isn't used, it sounds weird.
Meanwhile in Russia you will have hardly ever met a person, who writes letter "Л" by hand as "Л", because it's similar tо "П". We write this letter as "Λ" by hand, like greek lambda.
"Tôi mến ban" is more like "I admire you" and the "ban" need a dot "bạn" to mean "you".
