Too much lead up. Best reviewers get right to the point without the backstory. sorry to criticize but otherwise thank you for your time in reviewing the pans.
I also bought 2 (10 and 11”) . They are the most terrible nonstick pans I ever used, with or without oil. I cannot even fry eggs without making a mess because of sticking. What bothers me is 1) how can Gotham Steel get away with this false advertising and 2) how can Costco sell such a product. I thought it was my fault and that they needed “seasoning” but no luck. Should I try returning them to Costco?
hi Melvin, thanks for watching, i would return it, it gets worse as you use it, it was okay at first and wawhile then the nonstick wore out, try the Rock or the Tfall, jsut reveiwed the Tfalll and it is awesome nonstick! been 5 months, still great! Check out some more videos, Subscribe, Appreciate the support, Big Fun Product Reviews! LiveLifeLoud, Cheers and Cheeks Out!
if u aren't happy, return, i have the Oxo pans, they work great and try the Avocado oil with flying pans, place a towel on them so other pans don't scratch them when storing, LiveLifeLoud, Cheers and Cheeks Out!
We’ll camera 🎥 lady , my wife, she is the cook here and baker , and she was making crepes and I said ok this would be a good test, anyways I wanted to go crazy and burn everything in this pan, even gummy bears 🐻 but that might be another video, she felt it worked well, we will put it more to test , thanks for watching, Livelifeloud, Cheers and Cheeks Out!
It seems oil makes things taste better. Patience is important with this pan. I can't imagine making pancakes without any oil. The taste and texture will be a little off.
I am looking to purchase a Gotham Steel Pan and this informative video helped make my decision. Thank you Cheeks, purchasing a Gotham Steel pan as we speak(lol).
hi Becca, the fun of shopping, I got my use of it, after my experience though it seemed to not hold up as I expected, anyways it's been a few pans so far, LiveLifeLoud, Cheers and Cheeks Out!
@josephkocon650 I recommend the Oxo pans, I will check the link, I reviewed the Oxo an bought , very happy with them,, LiveLifeLoud, cheers and Cheeks Out!
I've had my pans now for about 5 or 6 months.. I use them almost everyday.. I went all out and got it all.. lol.. Can you use metal utensils on it ? Of course you can.. Just like the commercial says.. BUT, can you do that over and over and over again? NOOOOO!!! They don't say you can use metal utensils repeatedly on it.. Think like a lawyer here folks.. And look, no damage.. lol. And if you cook an egg on LOW heat over a long period of time the egg WILL side off the pan.. But do you want to wait a long period of time for that? NOOOOO!! Again, think like a lawyer here.. Just add a drop of olive oil or butter to the pan on medium heat and it works great.. Better than great in my opinion.. I use a dish washer to wash them.. I use the 'pots and pans' cycle with great results.. I also hand wash them.. Both work just fine.. Warm water and dish soap with a wash cloth works great.. No damage.. DO NOT USE a scrub brush or anything else like that on this product.. Again, think like a lawyer.. lol.. This product is an investment.. Treat it like one.. Do not over heat the pan.. I use medium heat only with great results.. There is no need to over heat the pans.. Heat distribution is good on these things.. I cook a lot of bacon and eggs.. I soak the bacon oil in paper towels and toss.. A simple wipe and the pan is ready to be washed.. Do not place hot pans in water after use.. Let them cool first... What does metal do when its hot and you place it in water? Riiiight.... It warps.. Just because its made of titanium does not make it indestructible.. Warping this pan will most likely cause the ceramic to separate from the metal portion of it.. Just like the brakes on your vehicle after driving down hill with your foot on the brake and then hit a water puddle.. It warps the brake rotors.. The commercial does not lie.. It only takes you in the direction they want you to go.. Remember "The Club" ? The auto anti theft product that attached to your steering wheel? lol.. That's all it really was, A club.. You just had to cut through the steering wheel and yank the darn thing off.. lol.. And people bought it.. Geez, what morons.. lol... Its all in the way the product is presented.. Just be smart when using this product and it will most likely last a lifetime..
Hi Dennis, thanks for watching, love the feedback, well thought out, we still use ours though my wife feels it has stopped being the goto pan, I use on medium heat and use coconut oil, never seems to burn or stick, I would say it isn't a mtliracle pan I thought it was, LiveLifeLoud Cheers and Cheeks Out 🇨🇦😃👍🛒
Well it's been a few years now and here comes the judge... I still have my entire collection of this product. I stopped using medium heat and went to low heat. It works better. Product does stick to the pots and pans after several years of use. But it's not as bad as you would think it would be. I still like them. People that don't like them are just overheating the pots and pans. And probably using some type of heavy cleaner when washing them. There are pots and pans out there that are definitely much better but at a much higher price. I feel I got a pretty darn good deal. Because after several years of constant use, I still have them and they still work. I don't use any metal or wood utensils.
hi gianna, my wife has a crepe pan and makes some good ones, i thught this would be a great test to try, she was making crepes that day, but good point, thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching, Subscribe, appreciate the support, LifeLiveLoudCheers and cheeks out! our latest ua-cam.com/video/U4R006CMl2g/v-deo.html

Didn't start with a hot pan. You really need a crepe pan to make proper crepes. And you would sacrifice taste and texture by not using oil or butter.

check out my Instagram at "Product Patrol"
Don't buy them! They stick!
@@ProductPatrol Two pans in USA for 19.99 USD and the "same " deal two pans in Canada for 29.99 USD . Shove your poxy pans where the sun don't shine.
If you wanna buy new pans every 3-4 months go ahead and buy Gotham steel pans.
Started out good and after 3-4 months sticks even with oil😆

So the Americans get TWO pans for 19.99USD while the CANADIANS get the ""same"" deal; for 29.99 USD . Gotham Steel can blow me speaking as a Canadian.
Hi738polarbear, crazy huh? thanks for watching, LiveLifeLoud, Cheersand Cheeks Out!
Thank you!
Try cooking eggs over easy with a spatula. The eggs end up sticking to spatula.
Thanks for watching, this seemed good for a bit, something worn , definitely sticking more, I find u have to cook lower heat for non stick
my Gotham pan kicked ASS for about 60 days. then it sucked. went back to my All Clads
Yes I agree! ours didnt last very long either :( It did a great job in the beginning. I guess that would apply to all pans after a while they scratch and lose their non stick coating. Thank you for the feedback! Cheeks Out
Great tip
Them pans willnot servive leaving them on a stove they crack if you supply too much heat.making them usless.pretty much like an ordinary cooking pan.

Don't waste your money. It's not scratch resistant.
hi Simone, thanks for the feedback , did not perform for very long unfortunately, LiveLifeLoud, Cheers and Cheeks out!
Typical non-stick bs, no matter what you do it sticks. I would not recommend.
